69 year old Richard Gere and 35 year old wife Alejandra Silva had a baby boy. Its their first kid while Gere also has an 18-year-old son, Homer, from his marriage to Casey Lowell. Silva, a publicist, also has a son named Albert from a previous marriage. They got married last year.

The View co-host Joy Behar is under fire after an old photo resurfaced of her using makeup to darken her skin for a Halloween costume. Behar discussed the costume during a 2016 segment of the show. (AUDIO) She said she dressed as a “beautiful African woman” when she was 29 years old. When co-host Raven-Symoné asked whether she had on tanning lotion, Berhar replied that she wore makeup “that was a little bit darker than my skin.” She also shared that the hair was her own. The clip was tweeted out by entertainment website The Wrap on Wednesday. Behar did not address the incident last I checked.

Katy Perry’s fashion label has pulled two pairs of shoes that critics say feature designs that resemble blackface. The Rue Face slip-on loafer and the Ora Face block-heel sandal come in black, gold and beige. It’s the black option that’s sparked backlash on social media.  Do the eyes look like blackface? “Ok, can we just make this a rule that ANY product, service or person that is NOT Black will NOT create, promote or apply any combination of BLACK + FACE,” one person tweeted. The shoes, which cost $129, are no longer available on Perry’s website.  They are, however, still being sold in stores like Forever 21.

Coincidence or that long pause that got DRAKE’s “Grammy” acceptance speech got cut off right after he told the crowd that they don’t NEED Grammys to be winners? Official word is that it WAS a coincidence. A representative for the show says there was a, quote, “natural pause” in Drake’s speech, which led producers to think he was finished.  So they went to commercial. He adds that they offered to let Drake go back out and finish his thoughts, but he told them he was happy with what he said and didn’t have anything to add.

Not surprisingly, the songs that were performed during the Grammys received a sales bump on Sunday.  They combined to sell 71,000 downloads on the day of the Grammys, which was up from 12,000 on the previous day. That’s a 480% increase. Speaking of numbers, 31 women won Grammys this year, which is up 82% from 2018.  After last year’s male-heavy results, the Recording Academy president Neil Portnow famously said women need to, quote, “step up.”  Well, they did.

After CARDI B won Best Rap Album at the “Grammys”, someone sent her flowers with a note that said, quote, “You’ve got a big heart.  So big it could crush this town.”  That’s a line from the TOM PETTY song “Walls (Circus)”. Petty’s name was printed under the quote, obviously to give him credit.  But Cardi must have thought the flowers came from Petty himself, because she posted an Instagram video saying,(AUDIO) quote, “Thank you Tom Petty for the flowers . . . Mother[effer] love me, bro.” Someone must have told Cardi that Tom Petty died in 2017, because she deleted the video.  Did she even know who he was in the first place?

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are getting together on a series for Hulu. Its based on a book from 2003 about possibly the first serial killer on record in America. The books title was The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America. They will both executive produce. DiCaprio was originally going to star as well but that and a production date have yet to be announced.

At 85 years old Supreme Court Justice RUTH BADER GINSBURG, still pounds the gavel and at 90 years of age Dr Ruth is still pounding out the sex advice.  There’s a new documentary about her called “Ask Dr. Ruth”, and it’s hitting Hulu on May 10th.  In the doc, she admits she scarred one of her grandchildren for life. She says, quote, “In the film you will see my grandson Ari say that I came to his classroom in the fourth grade in New York and did a sex talk and he says . . . now he’s 27 . . . he hasn’t recovered since.” It sounds bizarre, but Dr. Ruth also reveals that she didn’t have the sex talk with her own kids.  She says, quote, “But I did do this one thing with my children, and then my children did with their children, left books about sex around.”

“MacGruber” wasn’t the biggest hit when it came out in 2010 . . . but it gained a cult following on home video.  And that might be enough to turn it into a TV show. After several days pitching an eight- to 10-episode series the director hasn’t heard anything back, but it’s hard to believe there won’t be interest, because he’s got the original cast on board. That includes Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe, Maya Rudolph, and even Val Kilmer, who was BLOWN UP in the movie.

Netflix recently picked up “Fuller House” for a fifth and final season, and if you were holding out hope that MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN would show up at some point, you’ll have to find something else to live for. CANDACE CAMERON-BURE says there’s no Olsen-related surprise in store for fans in the final season.  Quote, “You heard it from me first:  They will never come back! . . . They don’t want to be on the show.  The answer’s NO!” BTW if you were a Winder Years fan don’t hold your breath for a reboot. Danicka MacKellar who played Winney says Fred Savage who played Kevin Arnold the main guy, doesn’t want to do it and she agrees to just leave it alone.

Disney’s REALLY digging into this whole “live-action remake” thing . . . to the point that they’re now thinking about giving the treatment to “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Which I don’t get, because I’m not really sure what characters in that movie could be converted to live-action.  The best they can do is probably motion-capture.  And if that’s your angle, can you really call it live-action? Disney already has a potential nightmare on its hands with its live-action “Aladdin” remake.  The first look at WILL SMITH in full Genie mode did NOT get a good reaction when the latest trailer came out this week.

Believe it or not, “America’s Got Talent” will launch its 14th season this summer, and there will be some changes again. TERRY CREWS will replace TYRA BANKS as the host . . . and there will be two new judges:  GABRIELLE UNION and JULIANNE HOUGH.  They’re taking over for MEL B and HEIDI KLUM.  The other two judges, SIMON COWELL and HOWIE MANDEL, will be back.  There’s no premiere date yet. Terry Crews is now hosting “America’s Got Talent: The Champions”

Yesterday, David Spade said Comedy Central is giving him his own late-night show called “The Nightly Show” which will air on Comedy Central after “The Daily Show.” (AUDIO)

Reports say that the staff of Wendy Williams‘ TV show doesn’t want her to come back — and actually feel relieved without her there. She has taken time off to deal with Graves Disease. According to RadarOnline, a source said that employees from the show hope that the TV host and her husband Kevin Hunter never return because work is much better when the couple isn’t around. The source explained, “It has been like a vacation having guest hosts. Everyone is laughing and smiling and working together. We all had gotten so used to walking on eggshells around Wendy and Kevin, we forgot what a fun work environment was.” The source continued, “At first the staff was worried about losing their jobs. Now it looks like the show can survive without Wendy, and a lot of people don’t want her to return.” Meanwhile, the source added that Williams’ diva behavior dragged down her employees. The source explained, “There was so many unwritten rules with working with Wendy. You couldn’t contact her directly. Only certain staff members could talk with her.” According to the source, Hunter was the source of a lot of drama on the set. The source said, “No one was allowed to disagree with him. It was a nightmare work environment. You never knew what mood Wendy or Kevin were going to be in.”

DJ Pauly D says his love life has been pretty nonexistent, so he’s doing a dating show on MTV called “Game of Clones”.

Prince Philip is turning in his driver’s license nearly a month after being involved in a scary car accident. “After careful consideration, the Duke of Edinburgh has taken the decision to voluntarily surrender his driving license,” a spokeswoman for Buckingham Palace says in a statement shared by The New York Times. On January 17, the 97-year-old prince was involved in a crash near the royal family’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, about 100 miles north of London. His Land Rover S.U.V. overturned after colliding with another vehicle. The driver and a passenger of the other car suffered minor injuries, while the prince was unharmed. Prince Philip formally retired from public life in 2017.

In a new profile in “Vogue” magazine, JUSTIN BIEBER admits that he was more than a year and a half into self-imposed CELIBACY before he reconnected with HAILEY BALDWIN over the summer. They had briefly dated a few years earlier. Justin says he gave up sex because he was having a “legitimate problem” with it.  Quote, “I think sex can cause a lot of pain.  Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough.  Because they lack self-worth.” But then he met up with Hailey in June, and realized how much he loved and missed her.  And he admits one of the reasons they rushed to the altar was because they couldn’t wait to GET IT ON. Justin also admits to becoming a JERK as he got more famous and started believing his own hype.  Quote, “I got very arrogant and cocky.  I was wearing sunglasses inside.” And while he admits he gave people the right to call him, quote, “frickin’ douchey,” he adds, quote, “A lot of the stuff was like . . . me peeing in a bucket, people made such a big deal of that. “Or me owning a monkey.  It’s like, if you had the money that I had, why wouldn’t you get a monkey?  You would get a monkey!”

Jerry Seinfeld, a known car collector, allegedly sent out auction notices for a Porsche — describing it as a “356 A 1500 GS/GT CARRERA SPEEDSTER FROM THE JERRY SEINFELD COLLECTION.” Asking $1.5 million. Fica Frio Ltd. bought it. All good? NOPE. The car is not authentic. He said it was 1 of 56 of this certain kind along with other stuff. The buyer says once they told Seinfeld it wasn’t authentic, they were promised a return and a refund. They say they have voicemail proof Jerry promised to make things right and so far he has not. They are now suing for the costs it incurred. It is also seeking damages “for the losses it has suffered in connection with the purchase. Seinfeld’s lawyer, Orin Snyder, told The Post in a statement that “Jerry has been working in good faith to get to the bottom of this matter.” “He has asked for evidence to substantiate the allegations,” Snyder said. They ignored Jerry and instead filed this frivolous lawsuit. Jerry consigned the car to Gooding and Company, an auction house, which is responsible for the sale. Nevertheless, Jerry is willing to do what’s right and fair, and we are confident the court will support the need for an outside evaluator to examine the provenance of the car.”

If you love coffee, and you have $36 burning a hole in your pocket, grab WILLIE NELSON Willie’s Remedy Coffee, and it’s infused with hemp oil but no THC, the stuff that gets you high. It’s a medium-dark, whole-bean blend that’s sourced from three different Colombian beans.  Willie says if you buy some you’ll be helping the farmers. Quote, “Hemp production in America was stifled for so long, but it could now make all the difference for small independent farmers.  Hemp isn’t just good for our farmers and our economy, it’s good for our soil, our environment – and our health.” The coffee is part of a line of health and wellness products called Willie’s Brand that his wife Annie is overseeing.  Here’s her pitch:  “It’s not about getting high, but it’s still all about Willie and the benefits we believe cannabis has to offer.” If you’re ready to buy, hit up

The Blues are in action tonight at the Enterprise Center as they take on the New Jersey Devils.  Currently, the Blues still hold the top Wild Card spot in the West.  Puck drop tonight is at 7PM.

Can ya feel it?  CAN YOU FEEL IT?  Today is the day….it’s official.  Pitchers and Catchers report to spring training today.  We are 11 days away from the first official spring training game.  Baseball is right around the corner.   ESPN put out a list of what to expect from every team during Spring Training, and they have three people to watch…obviously new comers Paul Goldschmidt and Andrew Miller, but they also say keep your eyes out on Alex Reyes.  He’s missed two almost full seasons with injuries, and they say he could still be the Cardinals #1 come October.

Russell Westbrook has set another triple-double record, getting his 10th straight last night as his Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Portland Trail Blazers 120-111. Westbrook, who had 21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists, broke a tie with basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain, who had nine straight triple-doubles in 1968. Westbrook already holds NBA records as the only person to average a triple-double in consecutive seasons, and for most triple-doubles in a single season, with 42 in the 2016-2017 season.

Yesterday, Kyler Murray – the defending Heisman trophy winner – said that he is fully committed to playing football and will focus on the NFL instead of his deal with the Oakland As.  But the As are backing down.  Kyler has already forfeited his $4.66 million dollar signing bonus with the As but they plan to offer him ABOVE that and the contract WOULDN’T be limited to what the NFL rookie wage scale is.  Still, Murray said he is focusing on the NFL and said he will report to the combine on February 26th.

The Cleveland Browns rocked the NFL yesterday, by signing running back KAREEM HUNT.  He’s the former Kansas City Chiefs star who was immediately cut last year after he was caught on camera shoving and kicking a woman outside his hotel room.  And then lying to the Chiefs about it. Contractually, the Browns didn’t make a huge commitment.  They’re reportedly paying him around $1 million, with some incentives tacked on. And it’s just a one-year deal.  But if things go smoothly, the Browns would be in position to re-sign him, because next winter, he’d be a RESTRICTED free agent, which means they’d control his rights. This is still a GIGANTIC risk . . . although we all know the Browns can always find exciting new ways to screw themselves over. Last year, they had one of their most promising seasons in decades with new quarterback Baker Mayfield, and now, they’re inviting chaos into the locker room.

Kareem will almost surely be suspended for a big chunk of next season.  “Analysts” are guessing it’ll be between six and 10 games. It’s a lot to ask a young team, with a young star and a rookie head coach, to help rally the locker room around a guy who assaulted a woman.  And that was just one of three altercations he was allegedly involved in last offseason. For what it’s worth, Browns general manager John Dorsey made the call.  He drafted Kareem in 2017 when he was the Chiefs’ GM, so he knows him well.  He insists the situation was “extensively researched.”  One last note:  Kareem is from the Cleveland area, and it’s also the city where he assaulted that woman last February.

Nebraska running back Maurice Washington is being charged under California’s “revenge porn” law for keeping a 2016 video on his phone of a then-15-year-old classmate being sexually assaulted, and sending the video to the victim along with the message, “Remember this hoe.”  The video was made when two 17-year-old students at The King’s Academy High School in California, drove a 15-year-old classmate to a secluded park and allegedly raped her. The video was reportedly distributed by one of the two alleged assailants, and it “spread like wildfire” among the teens’ classmates. Washington, who graduated from King’s Academy in 2018 and was a top recruit at Nebraska, reportedly dated the victim when they were both freshmen at the high school. Though he is not in the video and did not participate in the making of the video, he apparently is among those who received it, and appears to have held onto it on his phone for some time. In early 2018, Taylor said she noticed Washington was on his way to a Division 1 football scholarship, and reached out on social media to congratulate him. Taylor said she’s not exactly sure why, but days later, on the morning of March 2, she received a text message from Washington’s phone containing the 2016 video, along with a message, saying, “Remember this hoe [sic].” Taylor said she suspects Washington may still harbor ill feelings towards her for breaking up with him freshman year, and said Washington had tried on previous occasions during high school to shame her and get her to watch the video.  Nebraska was reportedly “made aware of the allegations against Washington” during the fall of 2018.

The NCAA will adjust its procedure for reviewing last-second shots during March Madness. “During the NCAA tournament, we will review all shots made at the buzzer, as necessary, in the interest of accuracy of score and team and player statistics and even if the outcome of the game isn’t riding on the officials’ call,” the NCAA’s David Worlock said. The announcement comes in the wake of two recent late-game officiating rulings in college hoops — both of which impacted the outcome of point-spread wagers. Both Oklahoma (against Iowa State at on Monday) and Creighton (at Villanova last Wednesday) scored last-second 3-pointers that appeared to have come after time had expired. However, because neither shot affected the outcome of the game, per NCAA protocol the officials did not use instant replay to see if the shots were released in time. Obviously this  changed the final score, which impacted or COULD HAVE impacted the payouts, which is why they want to ensure rulings during the NCAA tournament, which is by far, America’s most heavily bet event.
