It seems like it’s been a while since a high-profile celebrity has been accused of sexual misconduct . . . but yesterday, nine women accused opera star PLACIDO DOMINGO of just that. The allegations were uncovered by the Associated Press.  They span THREE DECADES, and were made by eight singers and one dancer.  They all follow a similar pattern, too.  Domingo allegedly started by promising them help with their careers . . . Then came the phone calls and flirty messages . . . along with unwanted kissing and hugging.  One of the women claims he put his hand down her skirt. About three dozen people who worked with Domingo told the AP that they witnessed him engage in, quote, “inappropriate sexually tinged behavior.” Domingo has been the director of the Los Angeles Opera since 2003, and they say they’re investigating.  Domingo denies any wrongdoing.

Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley were indicted by a federal grand jury for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud conspiracy, tax evasion, aiding the filing of false tax returns and more charges. News of the indictments comes shortly after Todd Chrisley posted a lengthy Instagram message telling his side of the story. The Chrisley Knows Best star says a disgruntled ex-employee is behind the legal troubles, saying they caught the unidentified former employee stealing from them in 2012. “Needless to say, we fired the guy and took him to court–and that’s when the real trouble started,” he wrote. Chrisley claims the man doctored documents, forged signatures, made threats and even bugged his home. He continued, “As a result, it looks like later this week Julie and I are going to be named in a federal indictment charging us with tax evasion and probably a bunch of other financial crimes as well.” Chrisley asserts his innocence, and says he has “a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it.”

Remember the crazy Andy Dick story from yesterday? Mr. Dick had just performed on stage with a guitar player as well. They were leaving and Andy got cold cocked. Knocked out cold and hit his head on a motorcycle and the payement. Was taken to the hospital and Andy says he was treated for a brain bleed. They canceled there next gig. But apparently on Sunday Dick appeared in a wheelchair at a show at the Art Garage in the and was unable to perform but he wanted ‘to show up for the fans’. State police haven’t made any arrests, but an investigation is ongoing.

BRITNEY SPEARS reportedly now has assets worth $59,079,755.76. But she shops just like us???E! News got ahold of some financial documents from Britney’s ongoing conservatorship case, and they reveal that she shopped at Target a LOT last year.  “More than 80 TIMES” to be exact. She also frequented Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, 7-Eleven, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Pier 1 Imports. In all, Britney spent more than $66,000 on ‘household supplies’ at those stores in 2018.  Which is MORE than the everyday American might drop . . . but remember, Britney is RICH.

Bella Thorne is joining the adult entertainment industry-as a director. She went from Disney to partnering with Pornhub to make her directorial debut, which also happens to be x-rated. “My initial idea was to create a Christmas horror movie, but instead I made a beautiful, ethereal film,” Thorne says of the project. She goes on to explain that the actual film explores “this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance.” The film will star Abella Danger and Small Hands, who will switch off between playing the submissive and dominant roles. It will also feature music from Thorne’s ex-boyfriend Mod Sun.

BTW, Disney’s remake of The Lion King just became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, with a worldwide box office of $1.3 billion. It was bound to happen:  JACK WHITE and JACK BLACK recorded a song together. Although KYLE GASS was there too, so technically, it was a Jack White / TENACIOUS D team-up. He and Kyle went to Nashville for a tour of White’s Third Man Records headquarters, then they went to his house to record the track. They weren’t allowed to film in Jack White’s house, but after it was over, Jack Black gave us a little run down. There’s no word if or when we’ll get to hear it.

Miguel for Richie Havens . . . Quote, “Miguel is as reliable, crowd-pleasing, and eclectic a festival act as there is today, and would certainly kick things off, as Richie did, with a bang, [and] keep the party rolling.”

Jaden Smith for Arlo Guthrie . . . “Jaden is one of the premier free-spirits of the Gen-Z era, a perfect modern analog for the hippie movement that birthed Arlo.”

Kacey Musgraves for Joan Baez . . . “She’s a roots-based artist with a pen as incisive as her voice is lithe, who’s also totally unafraid to speak truth to power when the occasion calls for it.”

Vampire Weekend for The Grateful Dead . . . “They have drawn quite a few comparisons to the Grateful Dead . . . [and do] lengthy jams while onstage.”

Ariana Grande for Creedence Clearwater Revival . . . “Creedence were arguably the most impactful band in America when they played Woodstock . . . the same could be said for Grande now.”

Miley Cyrus for Janis Joplin . . . She’s a “powerhouse vocalist,” who also “perfectly inhabits the free-love, happy hippie, won’t-take-anyone’s [nonsense] aesthetic.”

Janelle Monáe for Sly and the Family Stone . . . “No one can match Sly’s exuberant intensity, joyful funk vibes, or clear-eyed political consciousness as well as Janelle.”

Travis Scott for The Who . . . “The Who were the very, very loud theatrical quartet who were more than willing to get physical onstage.  Scott has consistently made the same mark during his own live performances.”

Chris Stapleton for Joe Cocker . . . “From one husky-throated crooner to another, this just makes way too much sense.”

Arcade Fire for The Band . . . “Both groups have a knack for crafting precisely-constructed, sweeping anthems.”

Migos for Blood, Sweat & Tears . . . “Just like Blood, Sweat & Tears brought the hits during their time at Woodstock around 1:00 am, Migos could easily keep the party going for hours on end.”

Jack White for Paul Butterfield Blues Band . . . “The reliable, veteran presence whose music harkens back to an earlier, allegedly more authentic time.”

Greta Van Fleet for Sha Na Na . . . Greta Van Fleet would take over Sha Na Na’s role as the show’s THROWBACK band.

Kendrick Lamar for Jimi Hendrix . . . “Kendrick has as good a chance as anyone [at] creating a moment that speaks to the times as effectively as Hendrix did with his now-iconic rendition of the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’.”
