Pink says Madonna doesn’t like her. It goes back to when Regis Philbin was still on TV. Here she is explaining. After last year’s infamous SLAP, the Oscars are making sure they’re prepared for ANYTHING. They even went as far as assembling a “crisis team”. An Academy executive told “Time“ magazine, quote, “Because of last year, we’ve opened our minds to the many things that can happen at the Oscars. But these crisis plans . . . the crisis communication teams and structures we have in place . . . (Uproxx)
Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum welcomed a baby boy last month. Paris didn’t carry him . . . they used a surrogate. And yesterday, Paris revealed his name: It’s Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. Paris read an excerpt from her upcoming memoir on Instagram where she talks about how she came up with the name years ago while searching a map for names of “cities, countries, and states.” She apparently has a thing for that, since her own name is Paris . . . and if she has a girl, she wants to name her London. She added that the phoenix is, quote, “the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again. “I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives and that this should give us great hope for the future.” (USA Today)

Remember that scene from “Game of Thrones” back in 2019, where you could clearly see someone’s takeout coffee cup? Well, HBO has done it again.
On the most recent episode of “The Last of Us”, there’s a scene where two characters are crossing a bridge. And during a wide overhead shot, you can clearly see a film crew off to the side. Someone posted video on TikTok, and someone else commented, “How do these multi-million dollar productions miss this stuff? I’m more precious with my 5-minute YouTube drone video.” (Check out the video here.)

There’s a new version of “Mean Girls” in the works, based on the Broadway musical version. Tina Fey is back as the teacher Ms. Norbury . . . and she’s also writer and producer. The girls will obviously be played by younger actresses. But the original stars . . . Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert . . . were reportedly going to have roles. Until the studio INSULTED them. Supposedly, Paramount offered them too little money so they turned it down. Quote, “All four girls were willing to come back, but Paramount has not been respectful of what they are worth. As of now, the negotiations are stalled.” (Page Six)
Here’s a look at what’s coming to Netflix in March! Whether you are in the mood for a classic rom-com like Sleepless in Seattle, arriving March 1st, or you’re in the mood for a silly sequel like Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s Murder Mystery 2, available March 31, here’s what you can look forward to. Burlesque, The Hangover trilogy also arrives March 1st, along with Magic Mike XXL and National Lampoon’s Animal House. Chris Rock: Selective Outrage and Netflix comedy arrives on March 4th. The series You Season 4, Part 2 hits Netflix on March 9th.
The I Am Legend sequel will feature a time-jump, as well as re-writing the first film’s original ending. The film’s producer and writer, Akiva Goldsmith, made the revelation during a recent conversation with Deadline. He explained that The Last Of Us had been a huge inspiration for his plans when it came to the film.
“This will start a few decades later than the first,” Goldsman said. “I’m obsessed with The Last of Us, where we see the world just post-apocalypse but also after a 20-30-year lapse. “You see how the earth reclaims the world, and there’s something beautiful in the question of, as man steps away from being the primary tenant, what happens? That will be especially visual in New York. I don’t know if they’ll climb up to the Empire State Building, but the possibilities are endless.” He also noted that the sequel will actually differ to the original feature film cut of the film, adding that it will stick with the alternate ending that was released later on for the film. In that ending, Smith’s character actually survives after managing to fend off a final attack from the infected. “We trace back to the original Matheson book, and the alternate ending as opposed to the released ending in the original film,” Goldsman explained. “What Matheson was talking about was that man’s time on the planet as the dominant species had come to an end. That’s a really interesting thing we’re going to get to explore. There will be a little more fidelity to the original text.”
At this point little else is known about the film. However, it has been confirmed that Will Smith will make a return in the role of Dr. Robert Neville. Alongside Smith, Michael B. Jordan will also star in the film.
Reba McEntire will be joining this season of “The Voice” as a mega mentor. She’ll advise contestants who make it through battle rounds, as they prepare for knockouts. The show premieres March 6th on NBC.
As The Mandalorian gets ready for its Season 3 premiere, series creator Jon Favreau has revealed that Season 4 is already written even though neither Disney+ nor Lucasfilm have announced its renewal. (But who are we kidding? It’s coming back.) Favreau made the revelation during an interview with France’s BFMTV where he also confirmed that the spinoff series, Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew, will be arriving this year. Of course, hearing that The Mandalorian is ready to go for Season 4 is bittersweet news. According to insiders, the fourth season will reportedly end the main series starring Mando and Baby Yoda. However, it’s clear that Lucasfilm is rapidly expanding the Mando-verse, so there will be plenty of opportunities for Pedro Pascal’s character and his adorable boy to return for cameos. In the words of Luke Skywalker, “No one’s ever really gone.” The Mandalorian Season 3 premieres March 1 on Disney+.
A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant was one letter away from a trip to Antigua when she appeared to “zone out” and miss an obvious letter to complete the answer during Monday night’s episode. A shocked audience member broke one of the show’s rules and could be heard yelling, “What!”, in the background after the contestant made the error. The “Teen Week” contestant named Khushi correctly guessed the letter “H” but had to fill in one more space on the board to complete the Food & Drink category. “FRE_H TROPICAL FRUIT,” the nearly completed puzzle read. “Solve it or spin it, or… but do something quickly,” legendary “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak said to Khushi.
Khushi nervously agreed to spin the wheel when the helm lands on a space right next to the $650 prize mark. “I’ll go with a G,” Khushi hesitantly says before the “wrong answer” buzzer goes off and an audience member interjects. The contestant right after Khushi, whose name is Juliana, ultimately guessed the correct letter “S” to solve the puzzle as “Fresh Tropical Fruit” for the win.
