Everyone has a breaking point . . . even the nicest man in the world. TOM HANKS and RITA WILSON were walking to their car in New York City on Wednesday night, and fans were crowding around them, trying to get autographs and selfies. One guy got too close, and actually TRIPPED Rita. She didn’t fall down, but it was the last straw for Tom. He stopped, turned back toward the crowd, and yelled, quote, “This is my wife. Back the [eff] off!” And that did the trick.

But this is 2022, and Beavis and Butthead aren’t limiting themselves to music videos. They’ll also comment on clips from YouTube and TikTok. We were limited to [music videos] on MTV, but the world is cluttered with so much video now. “Now, whatever the demographic that was watching music videos [in the ’90s] is probably watching this kind of TikTok stuff. And we all watch YouTube.”

People still think TIM ALLEN was “fired” as the voice of Buzz Lightyear because he’s politically conservative. Fellow conservative PATRICIA HEATON from “Everybody Loves Raymond” even said earlier this week that Disney and Pixar “castrated” Buzz Lightyear. Well, the makers of “Lightyear” would like you to know that politics had nothing to do with CHRIS EVANS getting this particular gig. One of the producers says, quote, “Tim Allen is Buzz Lightyear the toy. We weren’t making a ‘Toy Story’ movie. We’re making Buzz Lightyear’s movie.” The director put it even better. Quote, “Tim’s version of Buzz is a little goofier and is a little dumber, and so he is the comic relief. In this film, Buzz is the action hero. He’s serious and ambitious and funny, but not in a goofy way that would undercut the drama. Chris Evans has that movie-star quality that our character needed to separate him and the movie from Tim’s version.” If you’re still not convinced that Disney ditched Tim because of his politics, there’s this: He’s still working with them. He’s producing and starring in a Disney+ series based on the “Santa Clause” movies.
A sealed “Back to the Future” VHS tape just sold for $75,000. But it wasn’t just any ol’ unopened VHS tape . . . this one belonged to TOM WILSON . . . you know, BIFF. This set a record for the highest price ever paid at an auction for a sealed VHS tape. But this one came with a signed note from Tom. It read, quote, “This is a first release of ‘Back to the Future’, sent to me by the studio at that time . . . “Since I knew that the VHS platform would be around forever, I saved it for later and now I can’t find a VCR. Oh well. Enjoy!” The tape was part of a first-of-its-kind VHS-only auction. 260 tapes were sold including a copy of “The Goonies” for $50,000 and “Jaws” for $32,500.

Eminem released “The King And I” from the Elvis soundtrack on Thursday featuring CeeLo Green. The track has an old-school Eminem vibe as he compares himself to Elvis Presley. CeeLo then comes in with the chorus. CeeLo recently talked about working with Em on this collab. “Me and Eminem have been friends for years, I’ve longed for an opportunity to work with him. He said, ‘Hey man can you do this for me? I need it really quickly, I need it tonight.’ So when Eminem says he needs something tonight, you deliver.” The soundtrack also features Stevie Nicks, Kacey Musgraves, Maneskin, Jack White, Jazmine Sullivan, Doja Cat, Swae Lee, Diplo, and more. Ok…I want you to listen to this track. It’s more than likely from a band you have never heard of. However…there is a FEATURE on this that I think you know. Take a listen. KENNY G is trying something new: DEATH METAL. He brought his saxophone stylings to a song called “Merkurius Gilded”, by the new band IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT. Kenny’s son MAX GORELICK is also a musician, and apparently he knows these guys . . . so he and his dad ended up on the track. Kenny also might be in the video. There’s a long-haired guy in a gas mask playing the sax part . . . but honestly, it could be anybody. Rest assured, though, you ARE hearing Kenny doing his thing on the track.

So we had the story earlier this week about Lizzo changing the lyrics to her new song and replacing the line “Imma spaz” with “Hold me back.” This prompted Buzzfeed to put out a list of other inappropriate lyrics that were changed and released.
Taylor Swift’s song PICTURE to BURN was originally “That’s fine, I’ll tell mine youre gay.” And she changed it to “That’s fine, you won’t mind if I say…”
Paramore’s Misery Business was “Once a Whore…you’re nothing more.” They just edited out the word “Whore”
The Black Eyed Peas song “Lets Get It Started” was originally titled Lets Get…. the offensive “R-Word”
There is a Lana Del Rey songs that says: “He hit me and it felt like a kiss.” She says she hates the lyric so much that she doesn’t sing it when she performs the song live.
There is a Drake song called Jodeci Freestyle that uses being autistic and mentally challenged as an insult. In the re-released version its completely removed from the song.
The slur that starts with an F in the Dire Straits song is removed from MOST versions of the song even though there are still some original versions out there that play.
There is also a Michael Jackson song called They Don’t Care About Us where Michael not only says, “Jew Me” but also uses a K word the rhymes with LIKE that are both removed from the re-released version of the song.

The Golden State Warriors won their fourth championship in eight years last night . . . beating the Boston Celtics 103 to 90 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
The Warriors became the first team to win four titles in eight seasons since the Chicago Bulls did it between 1991 and 1998. The Warriors are also only the second team to win a title on Boston’s home court.
This win was particularly sweet, since the Warriors had the worst record in the NBA just two seasons ago.
Not surprisingly, STEPH CURRY was named MVP of the finals.

FIFA announced its selections Thursday for the first World Cup with three co-hosts, also picking three Mexican cities and two in Canada.
Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle and Kansas City were the among the 11 U.S. sites picked to host games at the 2026 World Cup! Arlington, Texas; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Foxborough, Massachusetts, Inglewood and Santa Clara, California, were the ones from before. The U.S. selections included none of the nine stadiums used at the ‘94 World Cup. Chicago, which hosted the 1994 opener at Solider Field, refused to bid, citing FIFA’s economic demands. The bid plan envisioned 60 games in the U.S., including all from the quarterfinals on, and 10 each in Mexico and Canada. Specific sites for each round will be announced later. KC Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was hyped the World Cup chose his city … saying, “Let’s show them why Arrowhead is the loudest stadium in the world!”

The Blues’ AHL affiliate will compete for league championship beginning on Sunday June 19. The Springfield Thunderbirds are headed to the American Hockey League’s Calder Cup Finals!
It’s the first time in 31 years that the St. Louis Blues’ top affiliate will compete for a league championship. Bobby Plager coached the Peoria Rivermen to the International Hockey League’s Turner Cup championship in the 1991 season – that team included former Blues such as Kelly Chase, Nelson Emerson, Tony Twist and Tom Tilley.
The Thunderbirds reached the Calder Cup Finals with a 4-0 win against the Laval Rocket in Game 7 on Wednesday night. Charlie Lindgren became the 12th goalie in AHL history to record a shutout in Game 7, making 34 saves in the victory. Lindgren went 5-0 for the Blues earlier this season
Dakota Joshua netted two goals in the Game 7 win, while Matthew Peca – who played five games for the Blues this season – scored the game-winning goal. Nine players who played with the Blues this season dressed for the Thunderbirds in Game 7: Joshua, Lindgren, Peca, Klim Kostin, Mackenzie MacEachern, James Neal, Calle Rosen, Steven Santini and Joel Hofer.
Springfield will meet the Blues’ former AHL affiliate – the Chicago Wolves – in the Calder Cup Finals, which begin Sunday at 3 p.m.
