OZZY OSBOURNE almost had his clothes stolen yesterday when his Lyft driver left and became unreachable. His daughter KELLY quickly took to Twitter and called Los Angeles Police Department for help. Kelly tweeted, quote, “EMERGENCY!!!! One of your drivers just knowingly drove off with all of my dad’s clothes in the back seat of her car. We can’t reach her or you. Please contact me immediately. We are calling the police right now!” She also shared a screenshot from the Lyft app of the driver’s information, but then quickly took it down. An hour and a half later, she broke the good news that the clothes were tracked down, and gave thanks (LINK) to Lyft and L.A.P.D. It’s unclear if this was a true theft attempt, or if it was a misunderstanding and Kelly just overreacted. Kelly didn’t elaborate on how the driver “knowingly” drove off. Guess we won’t be seeing any of Ozzy’s belongings on the black market today.
Late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts left more than $37 million to his wife and daughter. A piece of Brit-rock history was just auctioned off for $400,000: the guitar Noel Gallagher played – or *would* have played – the night Oasis broke up for good. The red Gibson ES-355 guitar was broken during a backstage fight between Noel and Liam Gallagher at the 2009 Rock en Seine Festival in Paris. The band ended up cancelling their set just minutes beforehand – and never took the stage together again. Unsurprisingly, the Gallagher brothers disagree over who actually broke the guitar. Noel says it was Liam, Liam says it was Noel – either way, it was the end of the band to this day. The guitar has since been restored, and was auctioned off this week for £325,000 – roughly $400,000.

Alabama won’t get the opportunity to avenge last season’s loss to Texas A&M until Oct. 8. However, Nick Saban fired a few opening shots at the Aggies last night when speaking out about name, image and likeness deals. He claims that Texas A&M’s No. 1 rated recruiting class was heavily fueled by NIL deals. “I know the consequence is going to be difficult for the people who are spending tons of money to get players. You read about it, you know who they are. We were second in recruiting last year. A&M was first. A&M bought every player on their team. Made a deal for name, image and likeness. We didn’t buy one player.” Saban stated that Alabama players combined to earn $3 million “by doing it the right way.”
What an idiot. How does this guy not think he’s gonna get caught? Yankees prospect Jake Sanford was cut from the organization last Thursday after it was revealed the former third round pick was allegedly stealing equipment from his teammates in order to sell it. Sanford “repeatedly hounded” his teammates to give him their bats, gloves and other equipment. Sometimes, he just took it from their lockers without their consent. On top of stealing from his teammates, Sanford also was accused of scamming fans online by selling autographed equipment but then never actually sending it. When fans began calling the outfielder out on Twitter for his scamming, Sanford ended up deactivating his Twitter account. He still has his Instagram account up, which says he’s a part of the “New York Yankees organization.”

U.S. Women’s Soccer players got what they wanted: Going forward, men and women will be paid EQUALLY. They’ll earn the same game bonuses and appearance fees . . . and they’ll also pool their World Cup prize money and share it down the middle, becoming the first soccer federation in the world to do so. FIFA doesn’t dole that money out equally. The U.S. Women’s National Team filed a lawsuit in 2019 demanding to be paid as much as the male players
