Ten Things That Are Universally Hated by Everyone on Earth (LINK):

1.  Loud chewing.  Everyone hates it.  But if it makes you ANGRY, you might have a condition called misophonia.  (miss-uh-FONE-ee-uh)

2.  Slow walkers.  Especially when you’re behind them on the sidewalk and can’t pass.

3.  Group texts with too many people.  So there’s a “ding” ever five seconds.

4.  Being told to “calm down.”  It almost always has the opposite effect.

5.  Talking during movies.  It’s surprising how many people do it.

6.  People who clip their nails in public.  Do it on your own time.  Don’t make me watch.

7.  Close talkers.  Especially during a pandemic.

8.  Drivers who don’t use turn signals.  It’s for everyone’s safety, not just yours.

9.  Slow internet.  Even if it slows down for a minute, we’re enraged.

10.  Couples who argue in front of their friends.  It makes everyone uncomfortable.  Especially if they try to get you to pick sides, or back them up.

SOFIA VERGARA is going to play a Colombian drug lord in show called “Griselda” based on the real-life Griselda Blanco, a powerful cocaine trafficker in the ’80s who was known as “Black Widow”. It’s going to be a six-episode limited series on Netflix from “Narcos” and “Narcos: Mexico” people.  Sofia will also executive produce.  But Netflix wants to make sure you know that it’s NOT a “Narcos” spin-off. Sofia has been working on this for about eight years. JENNIFER LOPEZ is also developing a Griselda Blanco project called “The Godmother” (LINK)

Guess what Fox tv dating show from the early 2000’s that rhymes with Joe Schmillionaire is coming back? That’s the one where a bunch of women competed for the hand of a millionaire. But when he finally chose the woman he wanted to be with, it was revealed that he really WASN’T a millionaire at all? Well, since the world is back to being AWFUL, Fox has decided to DO IT AGAIN.  There’s a slight twist though. The new version is called “Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer”, and there are TWO guys courting 20 women.  One of those guys IS a millionaire, but the other one isn’t.  And the women don’t know which is which. The show is already in the can, and ready to premiere in January.

I don’t care who you are or how the break up went down. When you see your ex with someone new you will always pause and go…”them really?” But what has to be going thru Kayne’s head with this Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian stuff. Remember how Kayne used to fill his house with flowers or whatever for Kim’s birthdays and whatnot?   Pete rented the rooftop for dinner at a restaurant called Campania’s on Staten Island. And they were spotted out again last night (LINK).

The Chipmunks are up for sale. Bagdasarian Productions, the current owner of the Alvin and the Chipmunks property, is looking to sell off the franchise for $300 million. ViacomCBS is said to be interested. Netflix is all about children’s content lately after buying James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for $700 million back in September. Other steamers, such as CBS’s Paramount+ and WarnerMedia’s HBO Max are looking too (LINK)

Bruce Springsteen wants to sell his recorded music and publishing catalogs. What do you think industry people are saying he is or could be asking for it. He is negotiating with Sony for the sale of his album catalog but I don’t know if they will buy his publishing rights.  Billboard estimates his album catalog to be worth between $145 and $190 million, while his publishing could get between $185 million and $225 million. Springsteen’s combined catalogs are estimated to be worth between $330 million and $415 million, and sources say he’s looking for $350 million for both. Springsteen has sold more than 65 million albums in the U.S. alone, including the 15-times platinum Born in the U.S.A., the six-times platinum Born to Run and the five-times platinum The River (LINK)

Joe Exotic has revealed that his health has taken yet another hit and he wants out of prison in order to seek treatment. He says he had a biopsy performed on his prostate, and doctors let him know the results are an aggressive form of cancer. He says he doesn’t want sympathy, instead, he wants his voice to be heard and for an immediate release so he can get treatment at home. Joe’s attorney, John Phillips says any delay in getting their motion before a judge could prove fatal.

During Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live Tom Hanks says he was asked to do the Bezo’s space trip thing before William Shatner.

Christopher Nolan’s new film called Oppenheimer, about J. Robert Oppenheimer, who was the lead scientist for the Manhattan Project just signed on Robert Downey Jr. And Matt Damon. Emily Blunt may be joining as well. It is based on the novel American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Should be out July 21, 2023.

The Broken Lizard comedy team . . . you know, the guys behind “Super Troopers” and “Beerfest” . . . are working on a satire of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. It’s called “Quasi”, and it’s about a hunchback who only wants love, but finds himself in the middle of a feud between the pope and the king of France, who each order him to kill the other. Broken Lizard’s other films include “Club Dread” and “Slammin’ Salmon”.  Their last movie was “Super Troopers 2”, in 2018 (LINK)

Here is a list of actors who turned down doing a sequel or reboot: (LINK)

  1. WILL FERRELLturned down “Elf 2” because the premise was too similar to the first movie and didn’t want to lie that it was good, even if the pay was good.
  1. JENNETTE MCCURDYturned down the “iCarly” revival because she retired from acting and had other projects she was working on.
  1. KIM CATTRALLdid not want to return for the new “Sex and the City” series, “And Just Like That”.  In a 2019 interview when asked if she’d return, she simply said, “Never . . . it’s a no from me.”

The Blues started their west coast road trip yesterday against the Kings and took the 1-0 lead in the 2nd with a goal from Brayden Schenn.  The Kings tied it up in the third and then about ½ through the final period took the 2-1 lead.  Then, with just under 10 seconds left, even though they were short handed, the Blues tied things up after a Torey Krug goal.  The overtime couldn’t find a winner so we went into a shootout.  Unfortunately for the Blues, the Kings ended up getting the win.  The Blues are in action against the Sharks tonight.  Puck drop is scheduled for 9:30PM.

The Hockey Hall of Fame has crossed out the name of former Chicago Blackhawks’ video coach Brad Aldrich on the team’s 2009-10 Stanley Cup. Aldrich’s name was covered in X’s on Sunday, the same day the 2021 Cup-winning Tampa Bay Lightning had their names added. Aldrich, who worked for the Blackhawks when they won the Cup in 2010, was accused of sexually assaulting former player Kyle Beach during that postseason run.

An investigative report was released last week. The report’s findings were that the Blackhawks’ leadership did not act immediately when approached by Beach and allowed Aldrich to resign from the organization three weeks after the Cup victory. Three years after that, Aldrich was convicted in Michigan of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct against a 16-year-old and sentenced to nine months in jail. Aldrich’s removal is just the latest fallout from Chicago’s scandal. Since Beach revealed himself as “John Doe” and went public with his story of abuse by Aldrich, Stan Bowman resigned as general manager and president of hockey operations in Chicago and former Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville resigned as coach of the Florida Panthers.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not play against the Chiefs on Sunday after testing positive for COVID-19.  Second-year quarterback Jordan Love is expected to start in Kansas City.  Rodgers is currently unvaccinated. Rodgers said in August he is “immunized” when asked if he is vaccinated. Rodgers has remained one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks in 2021. Green Bay enters Sunday leading the NFC North. The Chiefs sit third in the AFC West at 4–4.  Kickoff on Sunday from Arrowhead Stadium is slated for 3:25 p.m.

Odell Beckham Jr. might have played his final game with the Browns, as Beckham’s people are engaged with the Cleveland GM on the next steps for the wide receiver. Beckham was told not to attend Wednesday’s practice, one day after his father posted comments on social media trashing Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. Coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday afternoon that he had not spoken to Beckham in the past 24 hours. Asked whether he was preparing to play without Beckham on Sunday against the Bengals or whether Beckham was no longer a member of the team, Stefanski said: “I would just tell you today he is excused and we will see where this goes.” Beckham is under contract for two more seasons but has no guaranteed money left on his deal. He has a $1 million roster bonus due on the first day of training camp each of those seasons. The Browns would save $15 million on their salary cap if they were to trade or release him during the offseason.

During a Wednesday court appearance by former Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III in Las Vegas, the prosecutor said he was driving 156 mph before a deadly car crash Tuesday morning that killed a 23-year-old woman.  Ruggs crashed his Chevy Corvette into the woman’s Toyota Rav4 from behind. His blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limitA dog also died during the crash. A loaded gun was also found in Ruggs’s car. Ruggs was released by the Raiders on Tuesday night after being charged with DUI and reckless driving. Ruggs appeared in court in a neck brace and bail was set at $150,000 after prosecutors requested $1 million. He is also required to have the highest level of electronic monitoring and was ordered back in court Nov. 10.

The attorney representing 22 women suing Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson says settlement talks between the two sides broke down before the NFL’s trade deadline because of language Watson’s legal team insisted they include in nondisclosure agreements.  The attorney said he and his colleagues modified the language in the proposed nondisclosure agreements “substantially” but added that “there were still some women who said, ‘I’m never going to sign that.'” Watson is the defendant in 22 civil cases filed by women in four different states. The lawsuits allege that he sexually assaulted or behaved inappropriately during massages. At least 10 women have filed complaints about Watson to the Houston Police Department and a criminal investigation is also ongoing.

The 2021 MLB season was a chaotic one, with plenty of twists in the chase for the World Series. The Mets started hot then collapsed. The Yankees were a roller coaster. And the Braves went from under .500 in July to World Series champions. Making predictions this season was nearly as tough as hitting a curveball. Except for one person.  Former MLB player and current talking head Trevor Plouffe (Ploof) correctly predicted the World Series result before the 2021 season began. Plouffe tweeted, “Atlanta Braves over the Houston Astros in 6,” on March 31, marking one of the greatest predictions in recent memory. If only Plouffe had made a wager in Las Vegas to go along with his tweet.

San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey will announce his retirement from baseball today. Posey, 34, has played his entire 12-year career in San Francisco, helping the team win three World Series titles, in 2010, 2012 and 2014. He is the only player still on the Giants who played on all three title-winning teams. The Giants said last month that they would exercise Posey’s $22 million club option for the 2022 season as long as the veteran catcher wanted to keep playing after a stellar year. Posey hinted during the playoffs he might be done, saying he was ready to embrace more family time with four young children at home. Posey opted out of the coronavirus-shortened 2020 campaign to help care for prematurely born adopted twin girls.  Posey is a lifetime .302 hitter, making him one of six catchers in major league history to start 1,000 games at catcher and have a lifetime batting average of .300 or greater.

Scottie Pippen was not happy with Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance, calling his former teammate “condescending”, and says the documentary was demeaning, disrespectful, and insulting to him and the rest of the Bulls. GQ published a short excerpt from Pippen’s new book Unguarded. He said The Last Dance glorified Jordan and did not give “nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates.” Pippen blamed Jordan for the documentary since he was a producer. He also criticized Jordan for getting $10 million for the documentary while the rest of the team received nothing. Pippen called it a “reminder of the pecking order from the old days.” Though Jordan referred to Pippen as his “best teammate of all time” in the series, Pippen said in the excerpt that Jordan “couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried.” Unguarded, Pippen’s new memoir will be released next Tuesday, Nov. 9th.
