No one was cooking on Election Night. According to DoorDash, those who ordered delivery preferred comfort foods . . . fried and carb-filled stuff. The most-ordered food was French fries. Chicken fingers was second, followed by cheeseburgers, chicken quesadillas, and fried chicken sandwiches.
And the alcohol delivery app Drizly saw two-thirds more sales than the average of the previous four Tuesdays. And BLUE states drank way more than RED states. Or at least blue states were more willing to use the APP to order their booze.

A new study found weather doesn’t play a major role in spreading coronavirus . . . neither warm nor cold weather makes it more or less likely to spread.
For only 15 bucks get your loved one the 128-page “Vulva Coloring Book“…How about a lamp made out of an actual LOAF OF BREAD??? Don’t worry, it’s coated in resin…If there’s someone on your holiday gift list who just can’t stop popping out kids, but she’s getting sick of the hospital bills, maybe she needs her very own BIRTHING CHAIR. The Labour Silla will only run you $7,500, and it allows expectant moms to, quote, “sit, kneel, squat, rest, lean, and crawl until they find peace and comfort.”…There is a purse made to get a watermelon from Whole Foods to your mansion without it breaking through the bag. I think it’s made of leather but the click thru website is in Japanese. Because of this, I also have no idea how much it costs…This one looks great but its also $13,600. It is a Studypod. It’s just a tiny room that sits outside. But one side is all window, and it’s big enough to fit a desk and chair. in there, or maybe just lay down a yoga mat and get your stretch on. Wanna play Kenny Chesney‘s guitar? Wear George Clooney‘s watch? How about a designer bag from Jennifer Aniston‘s closet? Kenny, Jen and a bunch of other celebs are marking Veterans Day this year by supporting Homes for Our Troops and raising funds with a massive online auction. Other items going to the highest bidder include a dress worn by Mindy Kaling and a chance to hang on set with Jake Gyllenhaal. The auction opens the day before Veterans Day — and it’s being spearheaded by George, Mindy, CNN’s Jake Tapper and Wynonna Judd. This year’s auction looks a little different due to the pandemic, and a bunch of famous folks are offering zoom hangouts in lieu of meet and greets. George’s watch, Jen’s Louis Vuitton tote and Kenny’s guitar are all autographed … and there’s a bunch of signed sports memorabilia from NFL players like Jimmy Garoppolo, Baker Mayfield, Chandler Jones and Jimmy Graham. Get in your bids before the November 17 deadline, and you could win a zoom chat with celebs like Ben Stiller, Bryan Cranston, Dave Matthews, Elizabeth Banks, Jerry Seinfeld and Olivia Wilde. The Home for Our Troops celeb auction is in its 4th year, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the organization, which donates and builds custom homes for wounded vets.
A dude from TOOL had his guitars stolen. A pallet of Gibson’s latest Adam Jones signature Les Paul guitars were stolen out of a delivery truck parked at a Flying J truck stop in Whiteland, Indiana. Sweetwater, the company who sold the guitars,, released a statement saying “Somehow out of a truck full of guitars, this ONE pallet was singled out and stolen at a truck stop. Totaling close to $95,000 in guitars, we feel this person/persons knew exactly what to look for and when.” As for anyone looking to score a new guitar at a bargain price, listen up; Gibson has the serial numbers on the guitars, so maybe stay away from any deal that seems too good to be true.
Grammy winners, multi-platinum selling System Of A Down Released their First New Music In 15 Years. “Protect The Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz”. And it took oppression of the Armenian people to get them together. I guy texted the others saying we need to put out some music and help the people. They all agreed the issue was bigger than whatever is keeping them apart as a band. The songs royalties earmarked for the Armenia Fund. Genocidal Humanoidz” was written three or four years ago when some in the band got together and jammed that produced several songs, only to abandon them when Tankian wouldn’t commit to an album. For the time being, there are no plans for SYSTEM OF A DOWN to record any more new material.
Now THIS is Christmas music: Someone mashed up Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” with Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls”.

If we can salvage one thing from 2020 it’s a CREED reunion. Drummer SCOTT PHILLIPS says, quote, “There’s some dialogue. We tend to check up on each other when it’s birthdays and holidays, things like that. “So, there has been some chatter, and there’s no specific timetable for anything or no specific plans, but it’s a possibility down the road. We’ll just kind of let it play out naturally and see what happens.” As you probably know, Scott is in ALTER BRIDGE with former Creed guitarist MARK TREMONTI and bassist BRIAN MARSHALL. SCOTT STAPP is doing his own thing, and he’s had his share of issues over the years. But Phillips says, quote, “Scott seems to be doing really, really well.”
Last night was the first episode of “Mom” since ANNA FARIS quit. So how did they deal with her departure? The episode started with her mother, played by ALLISON JANNEY, dropping her off at the airport, where she flew across the country to go to law school at Georgetown University. FYI, the show is not bringing in a new character to take Anna’s place, and she’ll still be a presence. Allison’s character will give updates now and then about how she’s doing at Georgetown.
“Tonight Show” head writer REBECCA DRYSDALE is on her way out. She says the parting is mutual, but “Variety” claims she had a very specific reason for leaving. They quoted her as saying, “The project of making fun of [DONALD TRUMP], or doing material about Trump, has led to divided creative teams, anxiety, tears and pain. I can’t decide the outcome of this election, but I can make the choice for myself, to vote him out of my creative life.” But Rebecca asked Variety to take their story down, claiming it was based on, quote, “private Facebook comments that were taken out of context.”
A “Family Ties” reunion is happening this coming Tuesday night to benefit The Actors Fund, which offers support to people in the artistic community who are in need. But it sounds like not everyone is coming back. Here’s who’s scheduled to appear:
Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter (Steve and Elyse Keaton)
Michael J. Fox (Alex Keaton)
Tina Yothers (Jennifer Keaton)
Marc Price (Skippy)
Scott Valentine (Nick Moore)
Unless they get added later, that means you won’t be seeing Justine Bateman. . . a.k.a. Mallory Keaton . . . or Brian Bonsall, who played the youngest Keaton kid, Andy.
A’LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special’ is coming to Disney +. I believe with an appearance from the Mandalorian. It premieres November 17th.
The Ryan Reynolds movie Free Guy was supposed to hit theaters on Dec 11th. It is NOT going to be doing that now. And no date has been set. Death on the Nile which is a sequel to Murder on the Orient was set for Dec 18th. That’s not happening and no new date for that one either. In the U.S., moviegoing has yet to recover from the pandemic — 55 percent of theaters remain shut, including in such major markets as New York City and Los Angeles — and they are shutting down in Europe again. As of now Freaky Friday is suppose to open Nov 13th and Croods:New Age is set for Nov 25th. Those 2 movies have shortened theatrical windows if you will to make them available for streaming sooner.
Otherwise, the only remaining live-action big movie remaining is Wonder Woman 1984 which has already been delayed several times due to the pandemic, is presently set for Dec. 25.
Tenet was the first big movie back in theaters. It is now heading to home entertainment. It will be available on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD and digital on Dec. 15. The 4K Combo Pack will be available for $44.95, Blu-ray for $35.99 and DVD for $28.98, with pre-orders starting on Nov. 10. Still playing in theaters, Tenet has grossed $347.1 million at the global box office— $53.8 million domestically— as of Nov. 1.

The Green Bay Packers crushed the half-strength San Francisco 49ers 34-17. Aaron Rodgers was unstoppable. So was Davante Adams. Rodgers finished 25-of-31 passing for 305 yards and four touchdowns. Of that, Adams recorded 10 receptions for 173 yards and one touchdown. Marquez Valdes-Scantling more than made amends for a third-down drop with a pair of touchdowns. The NFL will reportedly fine both the Raiders and head coach Jon Gruden for violating the league’s COVID-19 protocols, as well as strip the team of a sixth-round draft pick. The punishments are related to offensive tackle Trent Brown’s positive test from October. The Raiders will be fined $500,000, while Gruden will pay $150,000. Among the violations by the Raiders include Gruden’s failure to consistently wear a mask. Raiders players also attended a large indoor gathering and the team allowed an unauthorized person into the locker room after a game. Brown returned to the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier on Thursday due to lingering effects from the virus. He is unlikely to play in Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that an unnamed player tested positive for COVID-19 and immediately went into self-isolation. The team, which is on a bye in Week 9, has entered the league’s coronavirus intensive protocols. The Kansas City Chiefs announced yesterday that they would hold practice before closing their facility after a member of the organization tested positive for COVID-19. Per the team’s statement: “The individual is self-quarantining, under the team’s medical care, and contact tracing is taking place. The team is now in the NFL’s Intensive Protocol and working closely with the league and medical experts. … The Chiefs will hold practice this morning and then out of precaution, the facilities will be closed this afternoon and meetings will be held virtually.” The team also said it was continuing its preparations for Sunday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
There is an NFL first that is happening when the Cardinals play the Dolphins this weekend. Can you guess what it is? Kyler Murray for the Cardinals wears the number 1…and so does Tua for the Dolphins…and that means for the first time IN NFL HISTORY…two QBs that wear the #1 will be each other. Seems crazy, but it’s true.
Former Tampa Bay Rays prospect Brandon Martin was convicted Wednesday of three counts of first-degree murder for using a baseball bat to murder his father, uncle and a bystander in 2015. In addition to the three murder counts, Martin was convicted of evading arrest, resisting arrest, stealing an automobile and injuring a police dog. The jury is scheduled to hear testimony on Monday in the sentencing phase and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Just two days before the incident, which occurred on Sept. 17, 2015, the Martin was admitted to a California Department of Mental Health’s emergency treatment facility for an evaluation. His admission came after he’d made threats against his disabled father.
The NBA will be back before the year is over. On Thursday, the National Basketball Players Association confirmed its representatives tentatively approved a 72-game season that will begin Dec. 22. This news was expected. Training camps will begin on Dec. 1 ahead of the regular season three weeks later.
A positive COVID-19 test has led to the cancellation of Saturday’s football game between Washington and California. In a statement from the Pac-12, the game was canceled at Cal’s request because the team did not have a “minimum number of scholarship players available” after a positive test. Cal head coach Justin Wilcox said that the game’s status was up in the air because a “significant” number of players had to undergo contact tracing after the positive test was returned. Mizzou football has a bye this week and take on 5th ranked Georgia next weekend.
Saturday’s Air Force at Army football game has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues at Air Force. The schools are working to reschedule the game if possible. The postponement of this game calls the status of this year’s battle for the Commander-in-Chief trophy into question. Air Force could have captured the trophy with a win Saturday, while Army would have needed a win and a win over Navy in December to win the trophy, which goes annually to the victor in the round-robin meetings between the three service academies. Air Force beat Navy 40-7 earlier in the season.
