Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age has revealed that he had cancer in 2022. In a new interview with Revolver, Homme didn’t disclose what type of cancer it was, but that he had successful surgery to remove it. He says, “I never say it can’t get any worse. I never say that, and I wouldn’t advise it. But I do say it can get better. Cancer is just the cherry on top of an interesting time period, you know? I’m extremely thankful that I’ll get through this, and I’ll look back at this as something that’s [messed] up — but will have made me better. I’m cool with that. There’s a lot of stuff I want to do. Jennifer Lawrence seems like she’s really fun. But sometimes, a little fun can go too far. Like that time she ACCIDENTALLY bullied a classmate named Tyler. She says, quote, “We were pantsing people at a football game, and I accidentally grabbed his underwear. He got really embarrassed and I feel really bad. I’m sorry.” It sounds like Jennifer came out of it with more trauma, though, because she admitted that she still Googles him every once in a while, quote, “just to be like, ‘You alright?'”
