He posted the following on Instagram (LINK):  “The rumors are not true.  I am engaged, but not to my girlfriend.  I am engaged to your mom.  I know this is shocking but please respect our privacy at this time.” And it was posted from, quote, “Your mom’s house.” In the caption he said, quote, “Media stop writing fake stuff.  It’s corny.”  Warner Brothers is bringing back the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote and in between everything else he is doing JOHN CENA will do this. It’s called “Coyote vs. Acme”. It’s a hybrid animated / live-action movie.  The Coyote actually SUES the Acme company because their products keep MAIMING him when he tries to use them to catch the Roadrunner. He’s defended by a down-on-his-luck attorney, who soon realizes that his boss at his former law firm is representing Acme.  Cena will play the former boss. Matthew Stafford walks away from photographer who took scary stage fall at Rams parade (VIDEO) Tonight the Blues continue their Canadian road trip with a game against the Canadiens.  The Blues are coming off of a 5-2 win over the Senators on Tuesday.  Tonight’s puck drop is scheduled for 6PM. Matt Harvey is facing a suspension of at least 60 days after admitting in court to distributing opioids to late Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs. In a statement, MLB said: “Once the trial is complete, MLB will conduct a comprehensive review of the potential violations of our drug program.” Harvey’s admission is a violation of MLB’s drug policy for drug distribution. He is currently a free agent and would have to sign with a team before serving the suspension. MLB can’t announce a suspension until it and the MLBPA agree to a new CBA. New Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell, some two weeks after reaching an agreement with the club, can finally wear some purple. The Vikings officially hired the Rams offensive coordinator on Wednesday. O’Connell starts his first head coaching job after stints as an assistant with the Browns, 49ers and Commanders, where he served as offensive coordinator in 2019. O’Connell’s press conference is planned for today. The Cowboys reportedly paid over $2 million in a settlement following four members of the franchise’s cheerleading squad accused a senior executive of voyeurism. One cheerleader alleged that she saw Dallas’s longtime senior vice president for public relations and communications, standing behind a partial wall in their locker room with his iPhone extended toward them while they were changing their clothes.  A fan also accused the executive of taking “upskirt” photos while in the franchise’s war room during the 2015 draft. The woman he was taking pics of?  Allegedly the daughter of team owner Jerry Jones.  The VP said the allegations were false. However, the franchise “does not dispute that the VP used his security key card access to enter the cheerleaders’ locker room while the women were changing clothes. The cheerleaders claim that when they heard the door open they yelled: “We’re in here!” Several minutes later, one of the women saw a man’s hand and a phone pointed in their direction at the time when they were going “from fully clothed to completely unclothed.” When one of the cheerleaders saw the phone she yelled: “Hey, what are you doing?” The executive allegedly ran away. The 2021 season saw one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL not play a single snap for his team. Deshaun Watson’s legal situation kept him off the field – and kept him from getting traded. However, the Houston Texans quarterback is planning to play in 2022 and wants a fresh start. According to a new report, Watson has two teams “on his radar” for a potential trade. He’s reportedly interested in the Vikings and Buccaneers. Minnesota still has quarterback Kirk Cousins under contract for the 2022 season. However, if the team could upgrade to Watson, they could become a legitimate contender in the NFC. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have a clear need at quarterback following Tom Brady’s retirement. Assuming Brady stays retired, Tampa Bay could use a quarterback like Watson to stay in the thick of the playoff race. Chicago Bulls All-Star forward DeMar DeRozan stayed on a roll offensively heading into the All-Star break and set an NBA record in Wednesday’s 125-118 victory over the Sacramento Kings. DeRozan scored 38 points and went 59% shooting Wednesday, making him the first player in NBA history to score 35 points while shooting better than 50% from the field in seven consecutive games. DeRozan surpassed a mark set by Wilt Chamberlain, who put together two such streaks of six games in a row, the last of which came in 1963. A season that’s been mired with injury-related fits and starts appears to have taken another turn for Lakers star Anthony Davis. Davis was forced to leave during the first half of Wednesday night’s game against the Jazz after rolling his right ankle. He was unable to put any weight on his foot, and was helped to the locker room by teammates, but his x-rays came back without signs of structural damage. The Lakers say that he has a severe sprain and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.
