LUKE BRYAN LURE ACCIDENT… LUKE BRYAN posted a video yesterday of two fishing lure prongs that are stuck IN his hand. One punctured the skin of his thumb . . . and the other went THROUGH the fleshy part between his index finger and thumb. You see it sticking out the other side. He’s still on the boat and hasn’t figured out how to remove the hooks. Here’s what he says about it in the clip, quote, “Well, this is gonna leave a mark. Pretty sure that’s in my bone.” It’s not clear where he was fishing, but it’s probably NOT the ocean. The water’s green and calm, and he’s wearing flip-flops. You can hear people in the background so it may be a family fishing trip.
Being in a gated secure neighborhood with your own security apparently can be a waste of money… these rich people getting breached all the time… KENDALL JENNER… The other day she had to get a restraining order against a man who was threatening to MURDER her. And now we’re finding out that on Sunday morning at 2:00 A.M., a NAKED MAN tried to swim in her pool. He showed up at her house CLOTHED, knocked on some windows and called her name. Then he took off his clothes and headed for the pool . . . but Kendall’s security cut him off. Kendall WAS home at the time, but in a “safe location.”
Armie Hammer had a full slate of film roles lined up until accusations of sexual assault began surfacing (link) a few months ago. Now, Walden Media has dropped the actor from Billion Dollar Spy, the last job on his schedule. That means all the studios that were working with Hammer when the allegations hit have ended their business relationships with him and no other project has moved past the initial talks phase. Several women have accused Hammer of sexual assault, and Los Angeles police are investigating a rape accusation (link) by a woman who said, “I thought that he was going to kill me.” Hammer has said all his sexual relationships have been consensual and called the rape accusation “outrageous.” The actor also has been dropped by his talent agency (link) and publicist. So here is the question…what about stuff he already finished? Disney has shuffled releases, postponing Death on the Nile until Valentine’s Day 2022. Studios sometimes recast roles in such situations, but Disney evidently has no plans for reshooting. Actors also can stay in the movie but be pulled from publicity campaigns—even movie posters. There’s the option now of skipping theatrical releases and sending the film straight to streaming. Studios want to demonstrate respect for any victims, . An executive at another studio said, “It seems like the only way to go with this is to come out front and say, ‘Hundreds of people worked on this project, and we’re not scrapping it because of one individual.'”
GEORGE R.R. MARTIN has found something new to keep him from finishing those “Game of Thrones” books. He’s working on a BROADWAY version of the series. It’s expected to launch in 2023. Unlike some of the prequels that are in the works, this one takes place only 16 years before the events of the books and the TV series . . . during The Great Tourney at Harrenhal. That means the return of several characters you’re actually familiar with . . . including some dead ones!
“The Voice” doesn’t seem to have any trouble landing big names to serve as coaches. Next up: ARIANA GRANDE. Yesterday, Ariana announced(link) that she’ll be taking over NICK JONAS’ chair next season, alongside Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. She said, quote, “Surprise!!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, [and] excited.” Season 21 is expected to debut sometime this fall.

ALEX TREBEK’s daughter Nicky hasn’t seen “Jeopardy!” since Alex died. “I have not watched one, my family haven’t watched any at all to me, it was his show . . . and it’s difficult for me to carry on [with] the show.” Nicky once worked on “Jeopardy!” in production, but she left last year, shortly after Alex’s death.
After several failed attempts to turn the 80’s cartoon into a film, a Thundercats film is on the way and will be directed by Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard, who calls it “a dream project.” He is going to do his best to stay away from anything cheesy with his project, telling Deadline that he’s steering clear of any much-criticized cat costumes ala 2019’s Cats musical film.
SYLVESTER STALLONE posted some handwritten notes (link) for a “Rocky” TV show that he’s developing for a streaming network. He says it will be a prequel, which will be set in the ’60s. In the caption, he said, quote, “Ideally, [it’s] 10 episodes for a few seasons to really get to the heart of the characters in their younger years.” And in the notes, Sly writes, quote, “Imagine a time machine that will simply transport us back to the origins of Rocky . . . a cinematic world brimming with characters that have been beloved by people . . . for nearly five decades!”

Jeff Lowe is moving forward with his plans to auction off an “official” Joe Exotic(link) NFT collection … despite legal pushback from the ‘Tiger King’ himself. Here’s the deal … Jeff and his wife, Lauren Lowe, recently announced an auction of non-fungible tokens featuring Exotic and the rest of the ‘Tiger King’ stars and it seems to have caught the attention of Joe’s legal team. Lauren tells TMZ … she and Jeff are still pressing on with the auction despite Exotic’s legal threats. She says they will defend their position that they’re the only entity in the U.S. that holds the ‘Tiger King’ trademark, which Lauren claims Joe signed over to them way back in 2016. The auction goes live tomorrow at 4 so someone gotta say something soon.
