For the first time in 20 years, the Cardinals have won 11 games in a row. And if you look into it even further, they have won 13 of their last 14. And they are doing some pretty handedly as well. Last night they beat the Brewers 10-2. Things got started early as red hot Tyler O’Neil hit a homer that still has landed yet. And by the end of the second inning he was ½ way to the cycle and already had 3 RBI under his belt. It never stopped. Cards killed it. Today a little day baseball as the Cards wrap up their series with the Brewers. First pitch scheduled for 1:10PM and Adam Wainwright gets the start.
Nothing to PANIC about but a little something to keep on your radar…In the 6th inning last night, Nolan Arenado was taken out of the game because of back pain. During a foul ball earlier in the game, he made a catch where he ended up on the tarp and landed awkwardly. Some folks are saying that its probably just precaution, but he is listed as day-to-day and is something to keep on your radar.

The investigation was started after allegations in social media posts by Kane’s wife, Deanna. The couple recently entered divorce proceedings. While the NHL considers this “specific matter closed,” the league says it reserves the right to investigate any new information related to gambling accusations. The league also said it has opened a new investigation into Kane for “unrelated allegations of potential wrongdoing that were brought to the league’s attention.” Later Wednesday, the Sharks issued a statement regarding the new investigation, and also announced that Kane won’t participate in training camp until further notice.

54-year-old boxer Riddick Bowe will not be boxing Lamar Odom on October 2nd in Miami. On Wednesday Celebrity Boing CEO Damon Feldman revealed that he decided to remove Bowe from the fight card because the boxer’s lied to him about Bowe’s health. Video came out of Bowe training and oh my…it’s…REALLY bad. Pulling Bowe from the fight was probably the right move after everything that went down with Holyfield a few weeks ago.
