Worst place you ever got stung by a bee is.Yesterday was World Bee Day, and ANGELINA JOLIE decided to raise awareness by having herself covered in bees. She didn’t go all the way, like some of those crazy people on the Internet.  There probably weren’t even enough of them for a decent bee beard.  But there were more bees on her than most of us could ever tolerate at one time. In order to get the shot, Angelina had to sit still for 18 minutes.  She also couldn’t shower for three days before the shoot, and had to rub pheromones on herself. They also put stuff in her nose and ears so the bees didn’t have, quote, “as many holes to climb in.” Which brings us to an interesting anecdote.  One bee almost DID find an entrance to climb into.  A very inconvenient entrance.  Angelina says, quote, “I did have one that got under my dress the entire time.  It was like one of those old comedies. “I kept feeling it on my knee, on my leg, and then I thought, ‘Oh, this is the worst place to get stung.  It’s getting really close.'”  Luckily, the bee remained a gentleman.

It was a year ago this month that Morgan Wallen was arrested for public intoxication at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Steakhouse.  It could’ve been a wakeup call, but, well, you know the story. Then the drunken N words caught on video by a neighbor. I wonder how that relationship is going?  Wednesday Mr WALLEN performed in public for the first time since that particular controversy in February.  He made a surprise appearance at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Steakhouse.

Kim Kardashian revealed publicly for the first time that her five-year-old son Saint West tested positive for COVID-19. If you follow Kim had to take care of Kanye when he got covid BEFORE he started suffering from severe divorce. Kim took care of him while he locked away in the house. Now it appers one possibly 2 kiddos have the civd. She said “Sainty just tested positive for COVID. And North is saying she’s feeling sick,” Kim can be heard saying during a phone call. “I’m trying not to freak anyone out, but I’m just really worried.”

Federal agents have seized 68 lions, tigers and other big cats from Jeffrey and Lauren Lowe, the Oklahoma couple who took over an animal park featured in the Netflix documentary series Tiger King. Some  jaguar and lion-tiger hybrids were also among the animals that authorities recovered. It took about 3 days.  You know the Lowes from Tiger King and Joe Exotic who is in jail now serving a 22-year federal prison sentence after being convicted in a murder-for-hire scheme and of federal wildlife violations.  The Lowes, meanwhile, were sued by the Justice Department in November for allegedly violating the Endangered Species Act and the Animal Welfare Act. The couple is accused of exhibiting the animals at Tiger King Park without a license and of failing to provide adequate care for them. And apparently they were right… During a December 2020 visit to the park, inspectors found that boneless chicken was the only food available for the big cats, which doesn’t fulfill the animals’ nutritional needs. When asked for a list of supplements that the animals were receiving, the facility named a horse weight-gain supplement called Gleam & Gain, which does not provide the necessary diet for big cats, according to authorities. The impact of the poor diet could be seen in the animals, several of which appeared to be suffering from stunted growth, lameness, neurological abnormalities and skin lesions. Inspectors observed rotting animal carcasses in some of the big cats’ cages and a pile of rotting carcasses elsewhere on the park’s grounds. The failure to properly dispose of the bones has attracted flies and other pests that routinely bite and attack the lions, tigers and other animals. Officials say the seized animals will be moved to preserves where they will receive care and rehabilitation. Also, home improvement store Lowe’s said stop saying Lowes so much during this story.

America’s National Parks – from Yosemite to the Grand Canyon – will be the subject of a ten-part documentary series narrated by Garth Brooks for Nat Geo. So if you are into being outside this will be great. The landscape and the wildlife in the parks will be showcased. Hawaii’s constantly erupting volcanoes. Also deep looks at the animals who live there. Brooks will executive produce. It is set to air in 2022. It is being shot using cutting-edge technology including long lens cinematography, remote camera traps and the latest high-resolution drone technology.

KEVIN BACON has only ever re-watched one of his movies.  What’s your guess?  “Footloose”?  “A Few Good Men”?  “Wild Things”.  It’s “Tremors” . . . that little giant-underground-creatures-attack-a-tiny-Nevada-town monster movie from 1990.  It bombed when it first came out, but it’s a cult classic now, and it really IS awesome. It’s also the only movie Kevin wants to make a sequel to.  There have already been SIX sequels, but Kevin declined to be in any of them because they’re all direct-to-video, and not very good. In recent years, he was trying to develop a SERIES at SyFy, but it eventually died.  He’s not necessarily giving up though.  He says, quote, “I would still love to do it, believe me . . . We’ll keep going.”

One of the most iconic shots from the original “Mission: Impossible” is TOM CRUISE being lowered by cables into the CIA headquarters vault . . . and accidentally being dropped until he’s just inches from the floor. It turns out that shot was REALLY hard to get, because Tom had trouble balancing his body.  In an extra from the new, 25th anniversary Blu-ray, he says, quote, “We were running out of time, and I kept hitting my face and the take didn’t work.” He finally asked the crew for POCKET CHANGE, which he put in his shoes as counterweight. They got it right on the next take, but director BRIAN DE PALMA decided to mess with him anyway.  Tom says, quote, “I remember thinking, ‘Oh, my gosh.  I didn’t touch.’ “And I was holding it, holding it, holding it, holding it.  And I’m sweating and I’m sweating.  And he just keeps rolling.”  De Palma purposely made Tom hang way too long before he started laughing and called cut.

By now you’ve probably heard of “Alyssa”, the 11-year-old Florida girl who fought off a would-be kidnapper while she was waiting for her school bus earlier this week. The guy pulled up in his car, chased her down and grabbed her, but she fought him off to the point that he just gave up and took off. Alyssa was playing with BLUE SLIME at the time, and during the struggle she rubbed it on his arm.  And because of that, police were able to identify and arrest him later.  Alyssa said she learned the trick from “Law & Order: SVU”. Well yesterday, MARISKA HARGITAY posted a message to her, saying, quote, “I am so honored to be part of your incredible story.  You are one BRAVE, Strong and Smart young woman. “I think the SVU squad might have to add slime to their crimefighting gear!”

Rob Zombie, his longtime guitarist John5, Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and Ozzy drummer Tommy Clufetos made a supergroup called L.A. Rats and did a cover of Geoff Mack’s “I’ve Been Everywhere”, which was made famous by Johnny Cash. (AUDIO)The song is a part of the soundtrack for Liam Neeson’s Netflix film The Ice Road. Both the film and the soundtrack will drop on June 25th.

There’s a new documentary about the band A-ha.  Who can forget, or sing high enough to sing along to their huge ’80s hit “Take On Me”?  Here’s a clip from the trailer, as they became the first band from their country to reach world acclaim . . . all while hating each other. (They’re still together.  “A-ha The Movie” hits festivals this summer.)A-ha has the distinction of doing a “James Bond” movie theme.  Theirs was the theme to “The Living Daylights”.

Did you know A-ha has the distinction of doing a Bond movie theme? Did you know it also has the distinction of being next to last on a 2020 list of Bond themes. So who is all on the bad side of the James Bond theme list? Worst to best…1 is worst FYI

The Blues are down 2-0 in their series with the Avs and they look to change that tonight as they take on Colorado at Enterpise Center.  It IS a later puck drop – but it’s Friday so that’s OK.  Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30PM.

Elsewhere in the league, the Panthers got their first win against the Lightning as they won 6-5 in OT.  That series is at 2-1.  The Penguins beat the Islanders 5-4 to take a 2-1 lead in that series.  The Canadiens picked up a game one win over the Maple Leafs.  And the Golden Knights got a 5-2 win over the Wild.  They lead that series 2-1.  Today, we have the Bruins and Capitals playing Game 4.  The Hurricanes and Predators play game 3 in Nashville.   Jets and Oilers play Game 2 tonight…and then there is the Blues game.

Toronto Maple Leafs captain John Tavares was taken off the ice on a stretcher after taking a knee to his face Thursday night in Game 1 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Canadiens. Tavares gave a thumbs-up as he left the ice and was later taken to a local hospital. Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said Tavares was “conscious and communicating well” but will remain hospitalized overnight for further testing. He said the tests Tavares has had so far have “come back clear.” The incident occurred in the first period when Tavares fell to the ice after a hit. As Tavares was falling, he was clipped in the head by a diving Corey Perry. Tavares was moving his extremities the entire time. He tried to stand up but couldn’t, losing his balance and falling backward. Several Montreal players, including Perry, went over to wish Tavares well before he was stretchered off.

The Cardinals start their weekend series with the Cubs tonight.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:15PM and Carlos Martinez gets the start.

Former Pittsburgh Pirates closer Felipe Vazquez was found guilty Thursday of statutory sexual assault, sexual abuse of children and child pornography, among other charges.

A jury found Vazquez guilty on 15 counts, which also included corruption of minors. It found him not guilty on 10 counts of unlawful contact or communication with a minor. The girl in the case was 13 at the time; Vazquez was 26. Vazquez’s defense argued that she misled him about her age. Vazquez faces additional charges in Florida and Missouri in connection with his alleged behavior with the girl.

Albert Pujols has hit his first homerun as a Los Angeles Dodger.  Pujols sent an 0-1 pitch from Merrill Kelly to right field. It was Pujols’ 668th career home run, most among active players and fifth all-time, and followed the 445 he hit for the St. Louis Cardinals and 222 for the Los Angeles Angels. The win gave the Dodgers a four-game sweep and have won four in a row and eight of nine. Pujols joined the Dodgers from the Los Angeles Angels on a one-year deal Monday. At 41 years, 124 days, Pujols is the oldest Dodgers player with a home run since Rickey Henderson homered for them at age 44 in 2003.

The East is set after last nights final playin game.  And it was UGLY.  The Wizards destroyed the pacers 142-115.  St. Louis’ own Bradley Beal scored 25 in the win.  They will now take on #1 seed in the Easter the 76ers.  Over in the West we will find out the final team tonight.  The Grizzlies will take on the Warriors.  The winner goes on to play the Jazz…the loser goes homes.

The Falcons “would like to trade” star wide receiver Julio Jones, but it’s not a done deal or guarantee.  Atlanta is still facing a salary cap problem, even after restructuring contracts of four key players (Matt Ryan, Jake Matthews, Deion Jones and Tyeler Davison). The former No. 6 overall pick is set to have a base salary of $15.3 million during the 2021 season, which makes for a short list of teams who can afford to absorb his salary.  The Ravens, 49ers, Patriots, Colts and Chargers are among teams that could reportedly afford to take on Jones.

The PGA Championship is underway in South Carolina.  Currently – or at least after Round 1 – Corey Conners holds the lead at 5-under.  Brooks Koepka and about 5 others golfers are tied at 3-under for second.  Phil Mickelson is right there at 2-under.  Action continues today thru Sunday.

Seven medical professionals have been charged with homicide relating to the death of former soccer great Diego Maradona.  The prosecutors’ office in Argentina requested to a judge that the seven individuals indicted not be allowed to leave the country. If found guilty of the charge of “simple homicide with eventual intent,” the defendants could face up to 25 years in prison. Maradona, 60, died last November of a heart attack. News of his death came just two weeks after he underwent surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain. He was released from the hospital eight days after the surgery and began to rehab in his home, before his eventual death.  The neurosurgeon who performed the brain operation is among the individuals charged. He has previously denied any wrongdoings involved in Maradona’s death.

After an arbitration ruling that halted the negotiations between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, Fury and Deontay Wilder have verbally agreed to terms on a third fight. The fight is tentatively scheduled for July 24, with a site in Las Vegas to be determined. An alternate date targeted for the fight is Aug. 14. Folks are expecting the contracts to be signed in the coming days. Purses are split 60-40 in Fury’s favor for this trilogy fight.
