Tawny Kitaen, the late actress who starred in “Bachelor Party,” had recently lost her Dad. He died April 12th after a long battle with skin cancer.According to Tawny’s brother Jordan they were super close and she died of a broken heart. The police have spoken to the family, telling them there was nothing found at the scene suggesting drugs, pills or alcohol were a factor in her death … and no signs she took her own life, either.
“American Idol” finalist CALEB KENNEDY quit the show after a video surfaced where he’s sitting next to someone who appears to be wearing a Klan hood. He issued a statement saying the video, quote, “displayed actions that were not meant to be taken in that way. I was younger and did not think about the actions, but that’s not an excuse. He added, quote, “I’m so sorry! I pray that I can one day regain your trust in who I am and have your respect! Thank you for supporting me.” Caleb is 16, and this supposedly happened when he was 12. Caleb’s mother says the video had nothing to do with the KKK. She says the kids had watched the horror movie “The Strangers: Prey at Night”, and were imitating the characters. She added, quote, “Caleb doesn’t have a racist bone in his body.”
DJ Khaled is getting dragged online for posting videos of women in bikinis twerking on a yacht … and it’s all because it coincided with the most holy month for Muslims. Khaled, who was raised Muslim, posted some behind-the-scenes footage of what looks like a music video shoot for his song, “Body in Motion,” featuring Lil Baby — and yes, it features lots of scantily-clad hotties shaking their assets. The issue is he posted it Wednesday, the last day of Ramadan. During Ramadan — a holy month of fasting and prayer for Muslims — both men and women are recommended to dress conservatively … nothing tight or revealing, like the bikinis the women are wearing around Khaled in the video.
ELLEN DEGENERES recently celebrated the 3,000th episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” . . . but now, her run is coming to an end.
“This Is Us” is coming to an end after its sixth season, which will likely premiere this fall. Like “Ellen”, the show got a three-year renewal back in 2019, where there may have been an understanding all along for it to go out this way. NBC hasn’t commented, but they’re expected to make it official later today.
Dave Chappelle said he and about 20 friends were in Ohio when they had to go to his basement because of a tornado. While down there, it was suggested they do a podcast . . . so they did. And all the episodes will be released on VINYL. You can check out “The Midnight Miracle”,
Even though the “Fantastic Four” has failed to catch on twice now, Marvel is going to take a crack at it again in the near future. And just about everyone in the world thinks it would be AWESOME if Reed and Sue Richards were played by real life couple JOHN KRASINSKI and EMILY BLUNT. But Emily is making it sound like that won’t happen. On yesterday’s “Howard Stern Show”, she said, quote, “I don’t know if superheroes are for me. They’re not up my alley. I think it’s been exhausted. We are inundated. It’s not that it’s only the movies, it’s the endless TV shows as well.” She’s not totally against the idea though. But she says it would have to be, quote, “a really cool character.” Emily was actually offered the part of Black Widow in “Iron Man 2”, and she wanted to do it . . . but she had to turn it down.
Universal Pictures had to apologize for using a MALE ACTOR to dub LAVERNE COX’s voice in the Italian version of “Promising Young Woman”. Fans noticed it in a promo clip and complained . . . forcing Universal to postpone today’s release of the movie so it can re-dub Laverne’s lines with a female voice artist. Universal also used a man for Laverne’s voice in the Spanish and German versions . . . so they’ll be changing those, too. Universal says they’re, quote, “sorry for the pain caused but are thankful that we can address the situation on this film and prevent similar mistakes from happening again on future projects.”

Even though the Blues are at the end of their season – they seem to be in playoff form . Last night the team beat the Wild 4-0 at Enterprise Center. Ivan Barvashev, Jaden Schwartz, Torey Krug, and David Perron all scored in the win. Tonight, it’s the final game of the regular season for the Blues as they take on the Wild again. Puck drop is at 7PM.
The Knights won 6-0 last night so they are currently in first. However – if the Avalanche can beat the Kings tonight – THEY would be in first in the Honda West Division. Regardless of who it is…whoever finishes in first is who the Blues will meet in the first round.
The Cardinals and Brewers played Game 2 of their series in Milwaukee last night. And – unfortunately – even though John Gant held the Brewers to only 1 run – the Cards lost 4-1. A misplay by Harrison Bader and a strike 3 that would have ended an inning was actually a wild pitch that allowed the inning to continue and allowed the Brewers to eventually put some runs on the board. The two teams wrap up there series today with an afternoon game. Jack Flaherty gets the 12:40PM first pitch start.

The International Olympic Committee won’t let public opinion get in the way of the organization’s decision to hold the Olympics in Tokyo this summer. At a press conference yesterday, an IOC spokesman addressed growing public sentiment to cancel the Games because of COVID-19 concerns in Japan. “We listen but won’t be guided by public opinion, everything is telling us that the games can go ahead and will go ahead.” Japan’s central government declared the country’s third state of emergency amid the COVID-19 pandemic in April. The restrictions imposed limits on certain businesses in Tokyo, Osaka, and more. The declaration was initially supposed to end on Wednesday, but the government extended the restrictions through May 31. Japan had more than 7,000 cases of COVID-19 on Saturday for the first time since January.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will begin their Super Bowl defense against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, Sept. 9, at Raymond James Stadium. However…all eyes will be on Tom Brady’s return to Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Oct. 3. The Week 4 game on “Sunday Night Football” will mark Brady’s first meeting against the Patriots since he signed with the Bucs as a free agent last offseason, leaving behind the legacy he had built in New England, where he played 20 seasons and won six of his seven Super Bowl titles. Brady will enter the season just 1,154 yards behind Drew Brees for the NFL’s career passing record. The NFL announced schedules for all 32 teams on Wednesday night. The 2021 NFL season will mark the first time each team will play 17 regular-season games.
The Packers are signing veteran quarterback Blake Bortles to a one-year contract making him the first addition at the position since the news of Aaron Rodgers’ unhappiness with the organization broke last month. It doesn’t necessarily mean the two are related. The Packers had only two quarterbacks on their roster: Rodgers and 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love. The Packers have two quarterbacks coming in for this weekend’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis: journeymen Chad Kelly and Kurt Benkert. The Packers picked Bortles, 29, in part because of his connection to their offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett. The two were together with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2015 to 2018. Bortles, the third pick in the 2014 NFL draft, last played in a regular-season game during the 2019 season with the Los Angeles Rams. He had stints with the Broncos and Rams last season as a backup and also spent time on Denver’s practice squad.
The New York Yankees have confirmed seven COVID-19 positives on their coaching and support staff. The new positives include pitching coach Matt Blake. The Yankees announced Tuesday that third-base coach Phil Nevin and first-base coach Reggie Willits had tested positive for COVID-19. Six of the seven people who have tested positive are asymptomatic, Boone said. All seven people who tested positive have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
