A plastic surgeon in California showed up for his Zoom traffic court appearance while he was in the middle of operating on a patient. ALEC and HILARIA BALDWIN have a new baby . . . but where it came from is kind of a mystery. Hilaria posted a picture yesterday of herself with their latest child, along with her FIVE other kids. The photo was captioned “7”. Sources say it’s a reference to her six kids with Alec, plus Alec’s other daughter, IRELAND BALDWIN. What’s so mysterious about “Kid 7”, you ask? Just the fact that Hilaria just gave birth to her son Eduardo on September 8th . . . a little under SIX MONTHS AGO. Given what we know about biology, it’s pretty much impossible Kid 7 was conceived, carried, and birthed the natural way. By Hilaria, anyway. Hilaria’s rep refused to comment.
Mark this down as the day comedian Andy Dick finally has found peace. He is engaged. Things seem to be going really not horrible. He is 55 and his fiancé as of 6am is 32 year old Elisa Jordana. They appear together on a Youtube show called Kermit and Friends. She says “He asked me at 6 in the morning a few Sundays back, and I said yes,”…here is where it’s a bit Dickish… “We are always working on the relationship, so as long as nothing weird happens it is happening. My mom is coming in June for my birthday, so hopefully then. Jordana, a former member of the band Cobra Starship, previously dated Howard Stern writer Benjy Bronk, and was on the show so often, she became known as “Ms. Howard TV.” The pair were set to wed on a Valentine’s Day episode, but he didn’t show up. “So I’ve been engaged for one week,” the bride-to-be said. “It’s not going well. I haven’t spoken to my fiancé since he proposed to me, and I saw he posted an Instagram story with someone’s nipple in it.”
You always hear the story of TIM ALLEN serving time in federal prison on cocaine charges in his 20s. And on MARC MARON’S “WTF” podcast he says he was caught at a Michigan airport with over a pound of coke. He says that he and another friend took the rap for about 20 guys. It seems like prison for him was a one and done. Currently, Tim is 23 years sober.
Warner Bros.′ live-action-animation hybrid “Tom & Jerry” debuted with $13.7 million in ticket sales, the best domestic opening of the year. A researcher even said with half of theaters closed, the pandemic still a threat and Tom and Jerry available at home this is pretty good. He also said under normal conditions this weekend would have been around $35 million. So theaters still do have some draw. “Tom and Jerry” Chloë Grace Moretz, Michael Peña and Colin Jost.
Ice Cube wants a reboot or a reunion or a re something of the movie Friday franchise but he claims Warner Brothers won’t let him. In an Instagram post, Cube said, “#Freefriday from the jaws of Warner Bros. who refuses to make more sequels. They have hi-jacked the happiness of the culture.” There were three “Friday” movies, and Ice Cube was planning on a fourth to be released last year. That never happened. Mr. Cube wants to work with another company to keep the “Friday” legacy going, but Warner Brothers isn’t budging.
The Golden Globes were virtual with Tina Fey and Amy Pohler hosting from different coasts. There was a technical glitch when Daniel Kaluuya won best supporting actor for Judas and the Black Messiah. It was only a few secs. JASON SUDEIKIS in a hoodie has the world wondering if he is okay after Olivia Wilde dumped him for Machine Gun Kelly. He won best actor for Ted Lasso. JASON was showing some love to his sister. He said, quote, “The hoodie is my sister’s dance and workout space in New York. It’s a nice hoodie as much as the message.” Some people also thought that Jason was HIGH . . . because his acceptance speech was ALL OVER THE PLACE. But it’s worth pointing out that he was video-conferencing from England, where it was MUCH later. BILL MURRAY was in a Hawaiian shirt and a martini . . . and JODIE FOSTER and her wife looked like they were having a pajama party with their dog. The emotional high point of the night was CHADWICK BOSEMAN’s wife accepting for him, after he won posthumously for “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”. For those who actually still care about the winners of award shows, “The Crown” had the best night, picking up four trophies . . . including one for best TV drama. “S-Word’s Creek” won best comedy, obviously. Ratings were not great this year. Earlyu numbers show under 5.5 million people watching while last year it was about 18 million watching.

Say goodbye to the show “Ginny& Georgia” probably. TAYLOR SWIFT is upset and has called them and Netflix out on social media. On the new episode one character brings up the fact that Taylor has had a few boyfriends. She didn’t dig that. Recall they worked together on the documentary “Miss Americana”. Yesterday she Tweeted, quote, “Hey ‘Ginny & Georgia’, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse [crap] as FuNnY. “Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you. Happy Women’s History Month I guess.” No word back from Netflix yet.

He said, quote, “In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet, we all crave healing . . . and justice . . . for humanity. “In creating this album, my goal is to make music that will provide comfort . . . to make songs that people can relate to, and connect to, so they feel less alone. “Suffering, injustice, and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Cardinals president Bill DeWitt III hopes to see fans in the seats and Clydesdales on the track April 8 at Busch Stadium. Dewitt said: “We’d love to be as ceremonial as we can, whether there’s a lot of people or no people, because there’s a TV audience. Opening day is a holiday in St. Louis.” Last year, COVID-19 walloped the Cardinals with their largest attendance loss in history, with 3.48 million fewer people paying to see games in St. Louis than in 2019. There were no fans in the stands in any park until October, when the Texas Rangers’ new stadium, Globe Life Field, had crowds for the National League championship series and the World Series. How many fans could be possible for opening day? Dewitt said “The range of 10 to 15,000 — that under-30% range that we’ve been working on — is in that window that we hope and expect would be approved.”
Free-agent pass-rusher J.J. Watt has agreed to a two-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. Terms were not disclosed, but a source says the deal is worth $31 million and includes $23 million guaranteed. Before the Cardinals announced the agreement, Watt broke the news by sharing a photo on Twitter of him in a Cardinals shirt and sourced it by saying: “Me” Watt later indicated he and his wife were traveling to Arizona. Watt said: “I’m excited to get started. Very excited to get started, get to work, and to get to know the people of Arizona.”
The Washington Football Team is expected to part ways with quarterback Alex Smith in the coming days. Smith was 5-1 as a starter this past season and helped lead Washington to a playoff berth. He earned AP Comeback Player of the Year honors. In Nov. 2018, Smith suffered a gruesome leg injury that required 17 operations and nearly a leg amputation. He missed all of 2019 rehabbing the injury. In a recent interview Smith spoke candidly about his leg injury and rehab process saying the team seemed to prefer he didn’t return to football. Smith, 36, threw for 1,582 yards and six touchdowns in his eight games in 2020. Washington re-signed Taylor Heinicke to a two-year deal in early February and has the No. 19 pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
Alabama is moving ahead with plans to host full-capacity college football games at Bryant-Denny Stadium this coming season. Their AD tweeted a short statement after news earlier in the day that the school would be returning to in-person instruction without restrictions on classroom capacity in the fall. He said they will continue to monitor medical guidelines “as we have all along.” Alabama reduced its capacity to 20% last season as COVID-19 spread, infecting millions of Americans. Infections have dropped significantly of late. Last Friday, the Centers for Disease Control reported a seven-day average of 66,348 infections in the United States, which was down roughly 10,000 from the previous week.
The NIT is moving the entire 2021 event to Texas, taking the semifinals and championship game out of New York’s Madison Square Garden for the first time in the 83-year history of college basketball’s oldest postseason tournament. The pandemic is also reducing the field to 16 teams from the usual 32, and all games are set for the Dallas area. First-round games will be played March 17-20, with the quarterfinals March 25. The semifinals are set for March 27, followed by the championship game the next day. The field for the NIT will be announced after the NCAA Tournament is set March 14.
