  • Green Day will embark on a stadium tour next year with The Smashing PumpkinsRancid, and The Linda LindasBillie Joe Armstrong made the announcement Thursday night during a surprise show in Vegas at the ‘When We Were Young’ festival.  They played their album “Dookie”, which turns 30 in February. They also debuted a new song called, “The American Dream Is Killing Me”.  It comes out tomorrow.  It’ll be the first single off their upcoming album.   • Sammy Hagar and the Circle were joined by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan Friday at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana to perform Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.” Hagar posted a video and captioned it, “What a surprise to meet and jam with Billy Corgan — one talented dude brought even more fun than we were already having.” Hagar and The Circle are in Detroit Monday night for the launch of his Red Rocker Brewing Company’s inaugural brew, “Red Rocker Lager.”
  • Bob Seger returned to the stage for the first time in four years Sunday night in Nashville when he performed at the “medallion ceremony” inducting Patty Loveless into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
  • David Lee Roth has released another song from 2007 that he recorded with guitarist John 5, who is now a member of Motley Crue. This one is titled “The S*** That Killed Elvis,” of which he did two versions — “unplugged” and what he calls “technicolor.”

TV/MOVIES:

  • Taylor Swift’s concert film The Eras Tour pulled in $32.4 million at the box office, winning the ticket race for a second straight week, which means Killers of the Flower Moon, a Martin Scorsese film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro, came in second place, pulling in $23 million – LINK
  • Will Ferrell teamed up with John C. Reilly to honor Snoop Dogg for his 52nd birthday! The Step Brothers got together Saturday night in L.A. — where Will was hosting a benefit concert at the Greek Theater.
