SAG-AFTRA has approved a tentative agreement that will end the actors strike, Variety reports. The 118-day strike, the longest in Hollywood history, will officially end at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday. According to Variety, “The union’s negotiating committee approved the deal on a unanimous vote. Jake Paul’s next boxing match is set! The YouTuber turned fighter’s next opponent will be Andre August (10-1 as a pro boxer.) Andre August, a 35-year-old Texas cruiserweight with a 10-1-1 pro record, will face Paul on December 15 in Orlando, Florida. The bout will be contested at cruiserweight (200 pounds) and is contracted for eight rounds. This is a different matchup for Jake Paul,26, who, in his boxing career, has faced primarily older MMA fighters who have made a name for themselves in the UFC. “I’m a professional boxer, and I want to be world champion, so I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life,” Paul said in a statement
Legendary golfer Tiger Woods says he is no longer experiencing pain in his right ankle. The fifteen-time major champion underwent a subtalar fusion surgery on the ankle earlier this year. But, Woods cautioned that the issues in his leg remain a work in progress. “My ankle is fine. Where they fused my ankle, I have absolutely zero issue whatsoever,” Woods said Tuesday. “That pain is completely gone.
