So Britney Spears locked herself in her bathroom at 2am…took a pic and wrote possibly the longest Instagram caption ever…is there rambling here?
At 2am I decided to take a bath 🛁 !!!! I got a new scented lotion from Victoria’s Secret and I wanted to wear it because it helps me sleep better !!!! I went to the bathroom and looked at my leftover coffee from earlier in the morning and said “gross” but didn’t throw it away and then I looked for my face wash but couldn’t find it anywhere !!!! I was caught up in my head looking for it for about 15 minutes and then realized it’s probably in the other bathroom … then I went to leave and the door was locked 🔒 … I thought ok well it’s a bathroom, I can open the damn door 🚪 … no, the lock was stuck !!!! I got locked in the fucking bathroom and my boyfriend was sleeping 😴 … even if there are earthquakes he doesn’t wake up 😂🙄😬 !!! I screamed “HEYYYYY!!!! Come open this stupid door !!!!” …. silence … the fourth time he gets up and says “What’s wrong?” … I said “I’m in here and I can’t get out 😂😂😂😒😒😒 !!!! He tried to do his thing to open the door with a PEN ✒️ … so I got my phone and called security to tell them to open the door 🚪 … 15 minutes went by and they finally said they’d send someone up to open the door … 10 minutes later …. “HELLO ??? Is anybody there ???” … then they told me 10 more minutes !!! I cleaned the bathroom and thought about taking a shower or something but then I saw it … the door 🚪 … I just looked at it for the first time with a yearning of just wanting it to open … would my eyes trick me and make it happen faster ??? My eyes widened and the door was more clear … more vast … I could see it with clarity and brightness … please open door 🚪 !!!! “We’re here!” They said … I asked how long it would take to open … and they said “oh, maybe 10 minutes” !!!! The old coffee I had left over from the morning was there … I started feeling foggy 😶🌫️ so I drank it … I was reenergized and started speaking again!!! “Are you guys there ???” … “Yes we are!” They said, “Stand back, we’re going to open the door!” It opened … it finally opened !!!!!

54 year old encarcerated R. Kelly says he has no money. I guess he has to pay for court transcripts and he cant afford it. Also he has gained enough weight while in prison he needs new clothes. Monday is the start of jury selection. on the eve of his sex-trafficking trial — and has gained so much weight behind bars he needs new clothes. “His finances are depleted,” his lawyer, Devereaux Cannick, told Judge Ann Donnelly. “I ask the court to give him daily copies of the transcripts.” Cannick also said his client has also “gained weight since he’s been incarcerated.” “We need measurements for appropriate attire for his trial,” he said. “We’re trying to get his measurements. How can we take his size?” To which the judge replied “I’m not taking his size.” Looking to help his case in court yesterday R. Kelly fell asleep at one point and was even snoring. Opening statements are due on Aug. 18.
Reese Witherspoon is a smart woman. She is selling a media empire worth nearly a billion dollars. She started a production and content company—Hello Sunshine—to tell women’s stories. Dax was also in the interview, and he said that they initially bathed their girls every single night as a routine, but then they started forgetting, and couldn’t remember when they last had a bath.
The Offspring’s latest drummer Pete Parada is out of the band because he wouldn’t vaccinate himself from COVID-19. And he makes it sound like he was fired. Pete says (link) he has a medical condition called Guillain-Barré Syndrome, where the body’s immune system attacks its nerves. He said his doctors advised him to skip the vaccine, and the band wasn’t cool with that. The band hasn’t commented . . . but earlier this year, they put out a video where they reworked (link) their classic song “Come Out And Play” to say “you gotta go get vaccinated.” And they do have an expert on their hands. Singer DEXTER HOLLAND has a Ph.D. in molecular biology, and he wrote his thesis on microRNA in HIV genomes.(The FDA added a warning that Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine may trigger Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) in a small number of people. Of the 12.5 million Americans who received this vaccine, about 100 people reported having GBS, 95 of them were serious and required hospitalization, and there was one reported death. No similar signal has been identified with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, according to the FDA.

Kurt Cobain (link) childhood home has been declared a Washington state landmark. The current homeowner is planning to turn it into a museum with private tours available starting in early 2022. Kurt lived there from 1968 to 1984, long before Nirvana (link). The one-and-a-half story house was approved for the Washington State’s ‘Heritage Register,’ which preserves culturally important buildings. The owner, Lee Bacon cant make it a full-time museum, but he will open the house for the occasional private tour. Bacon purchased the home from the Cobain family in 2018 for a reported $225,000. Original furniture from the Cobains remains in the home, with input from Kim Cobain (Kurt’s sister) being considered for the museum. Bacon has also purchased a 25,000-square-foot building in downtown Aberdeen with the intent of creating a 8,000-square-foot ‘Tribute Lounge and Gallery Cafe’ dedicated to Cobain.

Warriors star Stephen Curry agreed to a four-year, $215 million contract extension Tuesday. Curry, 33, is now the first player in NBA history to sign a pair of contracts each worth more than $200 million. Tuesday’s extension will keep Curry in Golden State through the 2025–26 season barring a trade. He will earn almost $60 million in the final year of his deal. Curry was eligible to hit free agency after the ’21–22 season before Tuesday’s extension was reached.
More moves in the NBA with Free Agency. And for the first time in their career…we get to see Carmelo and LeBron play for the same team. Canadian swimmer Penny Oleksiak won four medals at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and another three in Tokyo. And she just Tweeted, quote, “I just Googled ‘Canada’s most decorated Olympian’ and my name came up. I want to thank that teacher in high school who told me to stop swimming to focus on school because swimming wouldn’t get me anywhere. This is what dreams are made of.”
The U.S. women’s basketball team wasn’t interested in any drama Wednesday, playing with an all-business approach and not allowing Australia to even think about an upset in a 79-55 Olympic quarterfinal win.
After Day 12 of the Olympics, the U.S. was still leading in overall medals. But China was in a close second, and still leading in golds. American wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock won gold in women’s freestyle yesterday. And we picked up several medals in track-and-field. We also snagged a few silvers in men’s hurdles, pole vault, and women’s long jump. And we added a bunch of bronze medals, including the one Simone Biles won in the balance beam early yesterday morning.
