So Bill Cosby has been convicted of 3 counts of sexual assault…so now what?  He is not headed to jail yet. Cosby, who posted a $1 million bond, remains free on bail. Friday, he said the sentencing would likely take place in 75 days. Before sentencing, Cosby was ordered to undergo a “sexually violent predator” assessment and placed under house arrest. He is also required to wear a GPS monitor and stay within a five-county area. Each count of the three counts he was convicted of carries up to 10 years in prison, but he may serve the terms concurrently. Prison life will be a big change for Cosby, whose net worth was estimated by Forbes to be $400M in 2016. He owns several homes, a fortune’s worth of artwork and luxury cars. He would be one of 83 inmates aged 80 or older at the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, and one of just a few who is legally blind. He would be permitted to send and receive monitored emails and would be assigned a sighted inmate who would likely be paid 19-42 cents an hour to help lead him around the facility.

He is appealing his conviction.

One day after two women claimedTom Brokaw sexually harassed them at NBC News in the 1990s, a bunch of female journalists including Rachel Maddow, Andrea Mitchell and Maria Shriver have signed a letter characterizing the veteran journalist as “a man of tremendous decency and integrity.” In the letter, sent Friday, current and former colleagues had his back. “Tom has treated each of us with fairness and respect. He has given each of us opportunities for advancement and championed our successes throughout our careers.” Brokaw, who was an anchor at NBC Nightly News when he allegedly subjected two women to unwanted advances, wrote that he was “angry, hurt and unmoored from what I thought would be the final passage of my life and career” and claimed to have been “ambushed” and “perp walked” in headlines.

Chance the Rapper has apologized for defending Kanye West’s pro-Trump Twitter rants. “My fault, yo,” Chance tweeted on Friday along with a screengrab of a lengthy apology in which he admits, “I understand why people are disappointed with my words.” He goes on to say, “We have to talk honestly about what has been happening in this country and we have to challenge those who are responsible…If that happens to include someone I love…it’s not my job to protect or defend him. It’s my job to pick up the phone and talk to him about it.” Chance also addressed his tweet this week that declared, “Black people don’t have to be Democrats,” which he called “a deflection from the real conversation…[I] said that s**t at the wrongest time.”

Kanye West posted some new music on his website on Friday and Saturday. The first song is called “Lift Yourself”, and the ending is kind of special. The serious part of Kanye West’s new song Lift Yourself. Kanye’s other song is called “Ye vs. the People”, and it’s basically just him and T.I. arguing back and forth about how Kanye suddenly decided to support Donald Trump.  They both actually have a pretty strong case, which seems to be the point Kanye wanted to make. Kanye also  revealed that he wants his new album cover to feature the face of Dr. Jan Adams–the plastic surgeon who operated on his mother Donda West just one day before her death. “This is my album cover. This is plastic surgeon Jan Adams. The person who performed my moms final surgery. Do you have any title ideas?” West wrote to a friend in a screenshot he posted to Twitter on Saturday. “I want to forgive and stop hating.” Donda died in 2007 after undergoing a tummy tuck, liposuction and breast reduction. Adams was found not responsible for her death after an autopsy revealed she died from a pre-existing coronary artery disease, as well as some post-op factors. However, Adams gave up his medical license a year and a half later due to unrelated alcohol-related offenses.

Rob Schneider isn’t a fan of how political the show has gotten in recent years. “The fun of SNL was always you never knew which way they leaned politically,”…”You kind of assumed they would lean more left and liberal, but now the cat’s out of the bag they are completely against Trump, which I think makes it less interesting because you know the direction the piece is going.” Schneider goes on to compare Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of Trump to that of Dana Carvey, who impersonated President George H.W. Bush on the show more than 30 times between 1987 and 2000. “Carvey played it respectfully,” Schneider explains. “To me, the genius of Dana Carvey was Dana always had empathy for the people he played, and Alec Baldwin has nothing but a fuming, seething anger toward the person he plays.” He continues, “Alec Baldwin is a brilliant actor… he’s not a comedian. I don’t find his impression to be comical. Because, like I said, I know the way his politics lean and it spoils any surprise. There’s no possible surprise. He so clearly hates the man he’s playing.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the musical guest on SNL soon because Mason Ramsey. The Walmart yodeling kid,  just released his first single. He already has a major-label album deal. The yodeling video was only posted 29 days ago.

Charlie Sheen owes the IRS nearly $5 million in back taxes. He has an outstanding tax debt to the tune of $4,967,376.41. The bill comes from unpaid taxes for the year 2015. At his height, Charlie Sheen was the highest paid actor on network television, pulling in $1.8 million per episode. Sheen famously left the show after its eighth season and went to star on the FX show, “Anger Management.” He reportedly took a much lower salary but stood to make between $75 and $200 million from the backend. Earlier this year, Sheen put his mansion in the Mulholland Estates on the market for the random price of $9,999,999. Sheen’s personal life and money problems came to a head in 2015 after he revealed he was H.I.V.-positive.

The ending of “The Karate Kid” is still troubling to many people, 34 years after the movie came out, because Daniel won with a crane kick straight to Johnny’s face . . . even though a kick like that would probably be illegal in that type of tournament. But don’t worry . . . the controversy is addressed in the new YouTube Red series, “Cobra Kai”. RALPH MACCHIO says, quote, “There’s a scene where [Johnny] says, ‘That illegal kick?’ And I say, ‘What about that elbow to my knee?’ Which was equally illegal! “You’re not allowed to grab someone’s leg and jam your elbow into their wounded knee.”

Back when PARIS HILTON was defining what it meant to be “famous for being famous”, there was no social media to help her along and she says she’s glad there wasn’t. Quote, “No one was on their phone. No one was taking pictures or doing any of that. “We were just there to literally have a good time. Paris DID go viral, though, thanks to her leaked sex tape, which she talks about in a new documentary called “The American Meme”. She says, quote, “It was like being raped. “It felt like I’ve lost part of my soul and been talked about in such cruel and mean ways. I literally wanted to die at some points. I was like, ‘I just don’t want to live.’ Because I thought everything was taken away from me. I didn’t want to be known as that.” She also said on The Simple Life,”  I basically created this character that was basically what I thought the audience wanted, like, ‘Oh, she’s rich, so she needs to be a spoiled airhead’— basically what the producers told me to do.” BTW Paris is 37 years old now.

ABBA recently got together in the studio to record their first new songs together in over 35 YEARS. They recorded two songs, including one called “I Still Have Faith in You”. That song will premiere in December . . . in a TV special about ABBA’s upcoming AVATAR TOUR, which is a, quote, “groundbreaking venture that will utilize the very latest in digital and virtual-reality technology.” The special is being produced by NBC and the BBC. It’ll air in December. The other new song might be saved for the actual tour. For now, there’s no indication that they plan to record any other songs. The special and the tour feature ABBA’s four members recreated as computer-generated avatars . . . but they’ll be “de-aged” so they look like they did in 1979, when they did their final tour together. ABBA broke up in 1982.

A couple named Steve and Jessie played “Let’s Make a Deal” on Friday, and Steve found out on national TV that Jessie thinks they’re just friends.  The best part was that Steve and Jessie took a gamble on what was behind the curtain  . . . and won a romantic Mexican getaway for two.

Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour starts next month in Phoenix, and she has already broken a record, a week before her first concert. Swift’s first show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on May 8 will surpass One Direction’s visit in 2014, which drew 56,524 fans. While exact attendance and ticket sales information won’t be available until after the show, Tom Sadler, president and CEO of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, confirmed to Billboard that her May 8 show would be a record-breaker.

Bob Dylan revealed over the weekend that he is launching a line of whiskeys called Heaven’s Door Spirits. “You don’t always find inspiration,” he told The Guardian. “Sometimes it finds you. We wanted to create a collection of American whiskeys that would each tell a story.” Dylan has teamed up with liquor entrepreneur Marc Bushala for the project and their distillery will be located in a former church in Tennessee. They plan on making a bourbon, a double barrel whiskey and a straight rye. Bushala insists that this isn’t a vanity project for the rocker. “He didn’t sell out,” Bushala explained. “This is his brand, and it’s his idea. We just helped him do what he wanted to do. Bob does not want to be face man of the brand and he does not want the packaging to scream ‘Dylan.'” He went on to note that Dylan’s famous signature will be on the reverse side of the label, meaning it won’t be visible until the booze in the bottle has been consumed. “He was willing to do that, but he’s not going to appearances or bottle signings,” Bushala continued. “He didn’t even pick up his Nobel prize, so he’s not going to go out touting this.” Dylan has often written about booze in his music; some of his song titles include “Moonshine” and “Copper Kettle.”
