GEORGE CLOONEY was on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast talking about the tragedy on the set of Rust. Notice, he didn’t mention ALEC BALDWIN by name, but Baldwin WAS one of the producers.
With all the other allegations he’s facing, MARILYN MANSON is now being accused of locking women in a small, soundproof room he referred to as the “Bad Girls’ Room”. Model Ashley Morgan Smithline alleged that the singer used a vocal booth he dubbed “the bad girl’s room” to hold women captive, saying “Even if I was screaming, no one would hear me.” Supposedly, he would put them in there if he was upset with them . . . sometimes for hours. A former assistant claims it was common knowledge that the room existed . . . but he never saw Manson put anyone in there. Several people interviewed say Manson used racist language often, “reveling” in using the N-word in front of Black people while also sharing a fixation with Nazis. Actress Esme Bianco claims that Manson beat her with a whip that he bragged was “used by the Nazis.” Manson continues to claim that all his sexual exploits were consensual encounters with “like-minded partners (LINK)”
The original Ghostbusters were on “The Tonight Show” last night. Here’s Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray explaining why they decided to do another “Ghostbusters” movie.
Her fans, TAYLOR SWIFT’s “Swifties” are scary. Their bloodlust is so great, they’re even getting a head start on attacking JOHN MAYER. John was the subject of Taylor’s breakup song “Dear John”. That’s on her album “Speak Now”, which hasn’t even been re-recorded yet. One young woman actually hit John’s DMs and said, quote, “[Eff] yourself you ugly [B-word] I hope you choke on something. Then she added, “Answer me you [B-word].” Well, John DID answer. He said, quote, “I’ve been getting so many messages like these the past couple days. I’m not upset, I just tend to have a curious mind and feel compelled to ask. Do you really hope that I die?” The Swiftie was obviously stunned. She made a video saying, quote, “My friend literally dared me to do that. She’s a Taylor fan and like so am I. It was a dare. I’m sorry. I did not expect you to see.” John actually told her it was cool, but he said, quote, “So it’s a fun thing people are doing without taking into account that I might see it and be affected by it?” The woman then told John, quote, “People are going to be 1000 times meaner when [the album is re-released]. So take care of yourself (LINK)”
SNOOP DOGG’s new album “The Algorithm” out Friday, features has Method Man and Redman, Usher and Eric Bellinger, who I thought played baseball for the Dodgers. At 2022 Super Bowl in Los Angeles next February, Snoop Dogg will do halftime along with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and Dr. Dre. Mr. Dogg is even auctioning off the outfit (LINK) he plans to wear during the spectacular. While a bit of a publicity stunt, he’s definitely keeping his profile up ahead of the release of his new album this Friday, The Algorithm.
Can you just ignore it when “people” are trying to cancel you? MORGAN WALLEN announced the dates of “The Dangerous Tour”. 46 cities in nearly eight months. Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The tour kicks off February 3rd in Evansville, Indiana and wraps September 24th with the L.A. show. LARRY FLEET will be opening select shows doing selections from his new album Enima. PEE WEE HERMAN gets to host his own radio show. It’ll air on a Santa Monica-based station called KCRW on November 26th. Pee Wee announced (LINK) yesterday, quote, “I am going to be a DJ on a new radio show airing on KCRW! I’m so excited, it’s my very first one! I mailed them a letter, which got lost apparently, and then tagged them on Twitter . . .”They didn’t believe it was me until my most amazing fans called and jammed up their phone lines! Tune in to hear me play some great music and bring surprises.” It sounds like he’s hosting it AS the Pee Wee character, because he’s bringing Chairry, Magic Screen, and Miss Yvonne with him. He’s also promising some “super famous” surprise guests. While this is a one-show deal, let’s hope it can turn into something regular AND syndicated so we can all enjoy.
There’s a “Barney and Friends” docuseries in the works about Barney and how he became so beloved . . . and so HATED. It’s going to come out next year on Peacock in three episodes. While an official title hasn’t been announced, the series promises to, quote, “examine the rock star-like trajectory of Barney the Dinosaur, who captured the hearts of millions of children . . . “Then became the target of hate and rage across pop culture, the early internet, and playgrounds around the world.” It’ll include exclusive interviews and archived footage from the cast and crew and even critics (LINK)
Here’s a list of movies that readers over at LifeHacker.com (LINK) believe haven’t held up:
- “The Goonies”, 1985 . . . “People give [it] a pass on its racism, sexism, misogyny, ableism, and homophobia . . . it’s insulting to Italian-Americans, Asian-Americans, Latinx individuals, women, and people with physical and mental disabilities.”
- “The Breakfast Club”, 1985 . . . “Ducky [from ‘Pretty in Pink’] is pretty damn toxic. But everything about ‘Breakfast Club’is worse.”
- “Ghostbusters”, 1984 . . . “The entire Venkman-Dana arc is super problematic and creepy, with Venkman stalking her, barging into her apartment, and generally not taking no for an answer.”
- “Forrest Gump”, 1994 . . . “Not only is it a bad and boring movie with no story and no interesting characters, it relies on double nostalgia . . . nostalgia for the time periods depicted in the movie as well as the regular nostalgia for when you saw it the first time.”
- “The NeverEnding Story”, 1984 . . . “[It’s] less fantastic and more boring than you remember, and the horse dies earlier than you think.”
- “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”, 1994 . . . “The overt transphobia of the final act really does not hold up, and knowing it’s coming makes it damn near impossible to enjoy the first two acts.”

The Blues are back at Enterprise tonight to take on the Coyotes. The Blues did make a move yesterday by placing Kyle Clifford on waivers. Main reason? Looks like Oscar Sundqvist is coming back either tonight or Thursday. Last year Clifford had 4 goals and 7 points in 50 games. Puck drop tonight is scheduled for 7PM.
The Ottawa Senators’ next three games have been postponed amid a COVID-19 outbreak with the team. Games against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, the Nashville Predators on Thursday and the New York Rangers on Saturday are impacted. The Senators currently have 10 players in the NHL’s health and safety protocols.
The Hockey Hall of Fame honors for 2021 went down last night. TECHNICALLY this was the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021 will be skipped. Jerome Iginla, Marian Hossa, Kevin Lowe, Doug Wilson, and Kim St. Pierre were all inducted. (LINK)
Last night on Monday Night Football, LA was ready to go as Odell Beckham Jr was set to make his debut for the Rams. And, with the very first play for the Rams, they tossed it to him and he caught it. The OBJ-Era has begun! Well – that was until the 49ers got the ball. They beat up on the Rams 31-10. Debo Samuel caught and ran in a touchdown in the win. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 179 yards and 2 scores. The 49ers won at home for the first time since last October!
After suffering an upset to the Washington Football Team, Tom Brady was in no mood to talk to reporters and ended his postgame conference just after a few questions. “Who wants to start? Make it quick,” said a disappointed Tom Brady after he suffered a 19-29 loss to the Washington Football Team. It was a bad day for Brady who threw just 220 yards, with two touchdowns – and two interceptions. He had nothing to smile about. “We never really played on our terms. We played from behind the whole game. They played a good game – they had a good plan,” he said. As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Bucs didn’t expect Sunday’s game to go that way, especially since they were playing a team that was 2-6. It was the team’s second straight loss. Up next, the Bucs host the NY Giants on November 22 for the big Monday night game.
Just over a year ago, Randy Arozarena went from relative baseball unknown to postseason hero. Now, he’s added another piece of hardware to his mantle. Arozarena won the American League Rookie of the Year Award on Monday. Reds second baseman Jonathan India took home the honors in the National League, receiving 29 out of a possible 30 first-place votes. Arozarena appeared in just 23 regular-season games in 2020 before going on his playoff tear, with 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in 141 games last season for the 100-win Rays. Though Tampa Bay lost in the ALDS in four games to the Red Sox, Arozarena again starred, batting .333 and reaching base nine times in 19 plate appearances with a home run, two stolen bases and three RBIs. India needed no time adapting to the major leagues, debuting on Opening Day with 21 home runs, 12 stolen bases and 98 runs scored in 150 games for Cincinnati. Marlins pitcher Trevor Rogers was the only other player to receive a first-place vote.
Julio Lugo, who played for seven teams in a 12-year major league career and was the shortstop for Boston’s 2007 World Series championship team, has died. The cause of death was presumed to be a heart attack. Lugo batted .269 with 80 homers and 475 RBIs from 2000 to 2011 with the Astros, Rays, Dodgers, Red Sox, Cardinals, Orioles and Braves. He was 45 years old.
The Mizzou Tigers were on the basketball court last night playing what many thought to be a tuneup game against the UMKC Kangaroos. And…well…that didn’t go as planned. Mizzou lost to UMKC 80-66. Their next game is Thursday against Northern Illinois. Tip off from Columbia is at 7PM. Big upset last night for 10th ranked Illinois as unranked Marquette beat them 67-66. Illini looks to rebound on Monday vs Cincinnati. SLU is in action tonight against Memphis. The Billikens take their 3-0 record on the road for a 7PM tip off tonight.
