This seems a big deal up until he is just making sense. Britney Spears (LINK)’ long-time manager Larry Rudolph (LINK) who has been with her since age 13 and I believe signed her to her first deal has resigned after hearing she plans to retire from music. He sent a letter to Spears’ co-conservators Jamie Spears and the court-appointed Jodi Montgomery, saying “It has been over 2 1/2 years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus. Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire.” He adds, “I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”

The trailer for Val Kilmer’s documentary called “Val” is on the blog. He has been filming himself his entire career and they show it all. We even hear him talking through his voice box.  It will make its world premiere Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival out of competition, and Amazon has also set release dates for the documentary, first on July 23 in theaters followed by its debut on Amazon Prime Video on August 3.

The Black Widow movie with Scarlett Johansson. Much talked about for sure. Not always positive. In fact she hasn’t done a ton of press for it. She actually skipped a lot of the events in June.  That is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer. Instead its been a Zoom, appearing virtually with Jimmy Fallon on June 21. She was also absent from a “Black Widow” screening in the Hamptons Friday — attended by her co-star David Harbour and followed by a party at Mariska Hargitay’s home — even though she and Jost own a home in Montauk, where they’re frequently seen out and about. Everyone relax…she is pregnant and taking it easy and she was keeping it to herself…u until now. Its her second and first with Colin Jost. (36 and 39) – Link

George Lopez (LINK)‘s restaurant Chingon Kitchen  got rocked by a pickup truck as it smashed into the building.  A driver ran a stop sign (Torrance, CA) hitting another car, causing it to spin out of control and sending it crashing into George’s restaurant.  The drivers of the 2 cars were injured, as well as a passenger and a pedestrian … all 4 were taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries. No one inside the restaurant was hurt.  The building was not red-tagged (meaning it would be unsafe to be in) and it will remain open.

Ice Cube and Warner Brothers hate rolls on. Mr. Cube wants Warner Bros., to surrender its rights to the ‘Friday’ property and to two other movies he made there — ‘All About the Benjamins’ and ‘The Players Club.’ Warner Bros. says that’s ‘extortionate’ and not gonna. Cube and Warner started developing the fourth movie in the franchise, “Last Friday”, back in 2012. Warner had a problem with the script’s first draft being set in prison because prison wasn’t funny.  In letters written to Warner Brothers, Ice Cube and his team allegedly accused the studio of discrimination by not properly funding any of his movies. Warner disputes those claims.

SHARON STONE  might be messing around with a rapper named RMR, who’s 25 years old, and wears a ski mask and a gold grill.  Sharon is 63. They’ve been seen on dates around L.A. He even got her to put on one of his ski masks at a club. Here’s a clip of RMR’s song “Her Honeymoon” – link

SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS, or Sean “LOVE” Combs . . . or whatever he’s calling himself this week . . . was the butt of the Internet’s jokes yesterday, after he potentially exaggerated some details about his upbringing. He tried to post an inspirational video (LINK) of himself eating a mango with the ocean as his “backyard”, and saying anyone can have what he has, if they want it bad enough, and work hard enough. In the caption he said, quote, “One day when I was growing up, I woke up and there was 15 roaches on my face.  At that moment I said hell no, I refuse to live like this.  Work hard, believe in your crazy dreams . . . AND NEVER SETTLE!  #LOVE” It was the “15 roaches” part that got Twitter trippin’.  It seems that people think he padded that figure, and the memes started flying. As one person put it, quote, “Diddy lying . . . I had roaches and never do they sit still on your face, roaches got places to be and [stuff] to do.” – Link

Somebody mashed-up the “Seinfeld” theme with a hit song from each year that it aired.  They even took clips from the show that matched the song’s lyrics or theme.

MEGYN KELLY just signed a deal to host a daily talk show on Sirius XM.  It starts in September. And in a new interview, she says her DISASTROUS attempt to soften her image and join the “Today” show wasn’t a good fit for her. Quote, “I had this soaring career at Fox that was great by any measure, but I was miserable at home.  It was too stressful, too much time away from my family and my kids, and then I overcorrected at NBC by going too soft. “To be perfectly honest, the job wasn’t intellectually stimulating for me, and now I feel like I have the best of both worlds.  I’m fired up and making a difference.”

Favorite fictional characters in movies and TV shows were ORIGINALLY meant to die – Buzzfeed

  1. Poe Dameron in “Star Wars”. . . He was originally supposed to die in the opening scene in “Force Awakens” but Oscar Isaac asked J.J. Abrams to change it.
  1. Eleven in “Stranger Things”. . . The Duffer Brothers thought the series would only be one season so Eleven was going to originally sacrifice herself to save the world.
  1. Meredith Palmer in “The Office”. . . Remember when Michael Scott hit her with his car?  They thought about making it FATAL.
  1. Steve Harrington in “Stranger Things”. . . The Duffer Brothers were originally going to kill him off in season one, but Joe Keery’s performance changed their minds.
  1. Happy Hogan in “Iron Man 3”. . . In the storyboard, he was intended to die in a massive explosion.
  1. Kenny McCormick in “South Park”. . . His death in season five was intended to be permanent, but he was missed too much so he reappeared at the end of season six.
    1. Jesse Pinkman in “Breaking Bad”. . . He was originally supposed to be murdered by a drug dealer in season one.
    2. Rambo in Rambo: First Blood…The original ending had Rambo dying by suicide, but after they shot the scene, Stallone pulled director Ted Kotcheff aside and pointed out that after all the suffering they put him through, killing Rambo wouldn’t make for a satisfying ending. Kotcheff agreed, and they shot the alternative ending right then and there.

Last night the Cardinals and Giants played game 2 of their series, and the Cards picked up their 2nd win in a row beating SF 6-5.  Adam Wainwright picked up the win.  Nolan Arenado and Edmundo Sosa went deep in the win.  They each had 3 hits in the win as did Molina.  Tonight the two teams are at in for the finale…Johan Oviedo looks for his first win of the year as the Cards look to sweep the Giants.  First pitch tonight is scheduled for 8:45PM.

Game 1 of the NBA finals did have Giannis on the court, but unfortunately for the Bucks – the Suns are really, really good.  They picked up the 118-105 win last night and lead the series 1-0.  Game 2 is tomorrow night at 8PM.

Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final goes down tonight.  The Lightning are on win away from lifting the cup.  They failed to sweet the Canadiens on Monday after they got the 3-2 overtime win.  Tonights puck drop from Tampa is scheduled for 7PM.

Banned sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson was not on the Olympic roster released Tuesday by USA Track and Field, a decision that means the American’s positive test for marijuana will cost her a chance at running on the relay team in Tokyo, in addition to her spot in the 100-meter individual race. Richardson’s positive test nullified her win at Olympic trials and the spot that went with it in Tokyo in the 100. Her 30-day suspension will end before the start of the relays on Aug. 5, which left open the possibility she could win a medal as part of the 4×100 relay team. But her name was not on the roster. The federation had two picks beyond the top four finishers in the 100-meter final at trials but chose not to offer a spot to the 21-year-old, who was expected to challenge for Olympic gold. The statement put out by USA Track read: “So while our heartfelt understanding lies with Sha’Carri, we must also maintain fairness for all of the athletes who attempted to realize their dreams by securing a place on the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team. In this case, that meant offering the remaining relay spots to the sixth- and seventh-place finishers, each of whom moved up in the pecking order after Richardson’s disqualification. They are English Gardner and Aleia Hobbs.”

Bryson DeChambeau and Aaron Rodgers defeated Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady 3 and 2 in “The Match” on TNT on Tuesday. The four played in the charity event at The Reserve Golf Course at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana. It was the fourth version of “The Match,” a series that began with Tiger Woods and Mickelson playing winner-take-all against each other. It eventually expanded with Brady, Steph Curry, Charles Barkley and Peyton Manning. In this version, the golfers played a modified alternate shot format.  Rodgers played amid an ongoing rift with the Green Bay Packers and questions about his future with the franchise. The commentators asked him if he would be the quarterback of the Packers when the season starts, and he said he didn’t know. They prodded again, but Rodgers sidestepped the question, saying, “I’m just having a good time out here with Tom. I’m trying to talk to him about if he’s going to keep playing or not.” The players exchanged jabs themselves throughout the match, from Rodgers poking fun at Mickelson’s belt buckle to Mickelson telling Brady they had a fourth-and-3 situation, down eight points, on the 16th hole and that they needed to go for it and couldn’t play it safe. Mickelson was referencing the playoff game between the Packers and Buccaneers, during which Rodgers and the Packers went for a field goal instead of a touchdown. Unfortunately for Mickelson, his team missed its ensuing putt, and Rodgers drained his birdie putt to seal things. The match was fun and games, but it also was meant to help raise money for the involved charities. At its conclusion, the donations and contributions will provide 6.3 millions meals for Feeding America and $2.6 million to My Brother’s Keeper.

The owner of a Florida-based chain of mixed martial arts gyms unveiled big plans Tuesday to try to help Miami Hurricanes football players take advantage of new rules that allow them to make money. Dan Lambert, the owner of American Top Team and a longtime Miami football fan, has offered each scholarship player (90 total) on the Miami football team a monthly payment of $500 this year to advertise his gyms on social media. American Top Team is the home training facility for more than two dozen professional fighters, including Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Nunes. Lambert’s offer to the Hurricanes — which could add up to as much as $540,000 this year — is the largest reported sum for a college sports endorsement deal since new state laws and NCAA rules opened the doors for players to make money last week.

HBO’s Hard Knocks picks one team to highlight each pre-season. This year, they have called upon America’s Team again.  The Dallas Cowboys will make their third appearance on the program.  The five-episode run will begin on August 10th.

Former Navy cornerback Cameron Kinley will have his commission delayed and be allowed to attend training camp with the Buccaneers.  The U.S. secretary of defense and retired general Lloyd Austin reversed the previous decision that denied Kinley in June. Kinley went undrafted in April but signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent. He’ll get his chance to fight for a spot on the defending champion’s roster at training camp now. He said QUOTE: “I am extremely appreciative of the decision and I am excited to represent our fine military in the National Football League. This past month has been very challenging and I am thankful for everyone who has supported me in any way.”
