When DAVE CHAPPELLE was attacked onstage Tuesday night, it wasn’t immediately clear what kind of weapon the assailant had. Did he have a fake gun and a knife?  A fake gun and a fake knife?  Well, turns out it was a real knife, sticking out of a fake gun.  The blade sticks out of the barrel, sort of like a bayonet.  But you can also fold it back in like a switchblade or a lock blade. There were metal detectors at the venue, but TMZ (LINK) says there was one entrance where the assailant could have gotten around that. Speaking of said assailant, he’s actually a wannabe rapper who released a song in 2020 called . . . “Dave Chappell”, but he spelled Dave’s last name without the last E.  He spelled it “C-H-A-P-P-E-L-L.” ·         The attacker was taken to the hospital and later identified as 23-year-old Isaiah Lee.  The hospital cleared him to be taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon.

AMBER HEARD took the witness stand yesterday, and detailed the first time JOHNNY DEPP allegedly hit her.  It was over one of his tattoos. When Johnny was dating WINONA RYDER, he got a “Winona Forever” tattoo.  After they broke up, he had it changed to Wino Forever”. She also went into graphic detail about the supposed BODY CAVITY SEARCH Johnny subjected her to when he thought she was hiding his coke.

RAY J wants to set the record straight: KIM KARDASHIAN and KRIS JENNER were in on the release of that sex tape . . . right from Day One. He tells the not-always-reliable British tabloids, quote “I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about. “I’ve never leaked anything.  I have never leaked a sex tape in my life.  It has never been a leak.  It’s always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we’ve always been partners since the beginning of this thing.” Ray admits it was his idea . . . and he came up with it after seeing what PARIS HILTON’s sex tape did for her profile.  Kim embraced the idea and brought Kris in to make the deal with Vivid Video. He says he couldn’t have leaked the tape because he never even had possession of it . . . Kim kept all their tapes.  And he’s fed up with being blamed for leaking it, because it has severely hampered his ability to make a living.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens this weekend, and experts think the Marvel film will bring in some serious dough. The movie is expected to rake in $160 million to $180 million this weekend alone   Some think that the build for the film will push the earnings to nearly $200 million.   The second Dr. Strange epic will premiere in 4,400 theaters in North America.  All 27 previous Marvel films have opened at number one at the box office.

Kellogg’s is releasing a new “Star Wars” Obi-Wan Kenobi Frosted Flakes (LINK) cereal in July in honor of the new Disney+ series starring the character.  The cereal combines Frosted Flakes and chocolate Frosted Flakes . . . a dark side and light side on each flake.

If you have any nerdy friends on social media, then you know that yesterday was “Star Wars” Day.  So Mashable.com (LINK) decided to rank all 12 of the movies, from best to worst.  Here’s how they called it:

You can now add a touch of green to your diet; Gotham Greens has teamed up with The Grateful Dead for a line of salad greens.  The Grateful Greens are basically just Gotham Greens’ usual line but repackaged Grateful Dead-related upgrades, like a Dancing Bear on the bag and a QR code that delivers a custom Grateful Dead playlist.    For every bag of Grateful Greens sold, Gotham Greens will plant trees in partnership with ForestNation.  Pick up a bag at grocers like Kroger, Whole Foods and Fresh Market.

Sharon Osbourne and the family are set to appear in a four-part docuseries on Fox Nation about cancel culture.   Osbourne will reportedly discuss being in the “crosshair of the cancel culture movement” after leaving the CBS talk show, The Talk.  Osbourne left The Talk after getting an on-air confrontation with co-host Sheryl Underwood who asked her if she was racist after  defending Piers Morgan for saying he didn’t believe anything Meghan Markle said during her Oprah interview.  Sharon’s husband, Ozzy, and son, Jack, will also appear in the docuseries.  Osbourne wants to give viewers ” an unbridled look into the toll the cancel culture phenomenon” had on her life and career, adding that the series “for the first time will help audiences understand the impact this movement can have on individuals and families.” Sharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back comes to FOX Nation in September.

PHIL has been sending OPRAH WINFREYa thank you letter every year . . . for the last 26 years . . . to show his gratitude for helping his career. On “The Kelly Clarkson Show”, he said, quote, “The first time I launched a book on her show, I sent her a huge flower arrangement and a thank you note.  I think she had been on the air 17 years at that point . . .”[She] called me and said, ‘You know, out of all the things that I’ve done, all the books and stuff, this is the first time anybody has ever said thank you.'” Dr. Phil has known Oprah since the ’90s and would make frequent appearances on her talk show.  He said she changed his life after helping launch his show . . . and for that, he wants to make sure his gratitude is not forgotten (LINK)

Wainwright, tossing a one-hitter for seven innings, lead the Cardinals to smoke The Kansas City Royals in a 10-0 win. Yadier Molina caught the 151st shutout win of his career, which is second on the career charts, and he and Wainwright scored their 202nd team victory as battery mates. Juan Yepez became the first Cardinal to have two doubles in his first game, let alone his first two at-bats, when he dumped another looper to right, hitting the foul line, in the third inning. Double steals, another Arenado homer and 10 runs gave us plenty to be happy about as Cards fans. Tonight the Cardinals take on the Giants in San Fransisco. Balls start flying at 8:45 central

Turns out this actually was the year for Major League Soccer.

The run of MLS teams wondering when or if they’d be able to win a CONCACAF Champions League title was finally put to rest Wednesday at Lumen Field, where the Seattle Sounders defeated Mexican side Pumas UNAM 3-0 on the night and 5-2 on aggregate.

The Champions League, like its European counterpart, pits the top clubs from each league across the continent against each other in a tournament every winter and spring. The Sounders now qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup, which includes champions from all seven FIFA confederations across the globe. The tournament typically takes place in December, though this year’s event is yet to be announced since the men’s World Cup is scheduled for November and December in Qatar.
