Here’s some news we can all get behind: Kanye West isn’t going to speak for the next 30 days. Yesterday he Tweeted, quote, “I’m taking a 30-day cleanse, a verbal fast. No alcohol, no adult films, no intercourse. In God we praise. Amen. But my Twitter still lit.” He added, quote, “I’m not talking to nooobody for a month.” As far as Kanye’s Twitter still being “lit”, apparently that means he’s going to continue raging against the Jews . . . because he just kept on doing it.
It sounds like Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Banks got close when they starred in the “Hunger Games” movies together. Like, “You are welcome to stick your hand under me dress” close. Elizabeth says, quote, “‘Catching Fire’, I wore the butterfly dress, which was actually feathers, it was 110 degrees, and Jen Lawrence actually held the fan up into my dress.” She added, quote, “That’s a sister.”
Are you thinking about dropping down to Netflix’s ad-supported tier to save a few bucks? Well, before you do, you should know that not everything is available yet. Due to “licensing restrictions,” some content hasn’t made its way to the cheaper version yet, but Netflix suits claim they’re working on it. But for the time being, the shows you CAN’T watch include “Arrested Development”, “House of Cards”, “Peaky Blinders”, “New Girl”, “The Magicians”, “The Last Kingdom” .“The Sinner”, “Good Girls”, “The Good Place”, and “Friday Night Lights”. The movies that aren’t available yet include “Skyfall”, “28 Days”, “The Imitation Game”, and “The Bad Guys”. On the plus side, Netflix Basic with Ads, as it’s called, is only $6.99 a month . . . and it’s available now.
Jay-Z and Jeff Bezos, two of the most successful men in America, are interested in buying the Washington Commanders, in light of owner Dan Snyder‘s interest in selling the NFL team. And, we’re told a partnership between the men is on the table. On Wednesday, the team issued a statement announcing Snyder (LINK) hired a major bank to investigate a possible opportunity to sell the team … but made it clear he hadn’t yet made a final decision. We’re told Jay, worth an estimated $1.3 billion, has expressed serious interest in acquiring the team … valued at $5.6 billion this summer. Despite the rap legend and businessman’s incredible fortune, we’re told he’d look for a partner. Bezos, one of the world’s richest people ($114 billion net worth), is also interested in the team. Bezos has ties to the area … he owns the Washington Post newspaper. Amazon also owns Prime Video … which recently inked a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal to broadcast Thursday Night Football.
Netflix and Lindsay Lohan are getting in the holiday spirit! Lindsay just released her new single “Jingle Bell Rock,” from her new Netflix holiday film Falling For Christmas. The film will release globally on Netflix on Nov. 10, 2022, but we get the song as an early Christmas gift. The film stars Lohan as a spoiled heiress who loses her memory in a skiing accident and has no idea who she is. “Christmas is a time when family comes together,” Lohan said of the film’s holiday theme in a recent interview. “It’s just such a loving holiday. [Falling for Christmas] is such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy, and I miss doing those kinds of movies,”
Dan Harmon – the creator of the show Community was asked to be straight forward…will Donald Glover be returning for the Community movie? He said: “For lack of a better word, there was a ball fumbled… [Glover] is down to clown. Man, I would not want to think about making [the movie] without Donald.” Of course, Harmon made a season and a half of the show without Glover. The Atlanta creator left Community halfway through season five. However, he did return for a charity table read of a season five episode at the beginning of the pandemic. In 2016, Glover explained his exit as an outgrowth of his enjoyment of endings. “I just like endings,” he said. “I think everything should have death clauses in them. Humans have death clauses in them. One day Trump is going to die. That’s guaranteed. It’s important that things end. I’m glad things end because it forces things to progress. I get really frustrated in the world that things could be better but can’t be better because they haven’t died yet.”
Director Henry Selick is still bothered by Tim Burton’s name being attached to the title of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” when it was released in 1993. In an interview with the AV Club, he said, quote, “It wasn’t called ‘Tim Burton’s Nightmare’ until three weeks before the film came out. And I would have been fine with that, if that’s what I signed up for.” Disney wanted to use Tim’s name to help promote the movie, since Tim created the characters and he had recently directed “Edward Scissorhands” and “Batman”. But Henry found it a bit unfair because Tim wasn’t around for a lot of it. Quote, “Tim was in L.A. making two features while I directed that film, and Tim is a genius. But it was really me and my team of people who brought that to life . . . Now, of course, if you ask Danny Elfman, well, that’s his movie . . . He came up to me and shook my hand, ‘Henry, you’ve done a wonderful job illustrating my songs!’ And he was serious, and I loved it! But my thing was I’m going to hang in there long enough to where people actually say, ‘Oh, that guy Henry, he does stuff.'” Henry’s latest movie was a collaboration with Jordan Peele called “Wendell & Wild”. It’s a stop-motion horror comedy and it’s out now on Netflix.
Julie Bowen is insistent that she’s straight, even though she was in love with a woman once. On the latest episode of her “Quitters” podcast, she said, quote, “I’m straight. I’ve always been straight. I was in love with a woman for a while, but she didn’t love me back . . .”She liked women but she didn’t like me in that way. It never really took off, so I never really had to challenge my concept of my sexuality.” Julie also added that what people do with their bodies should not be the first thing we know about them, and that someone’s sexuality is their business and she hopes someday people won’t feel a necessity to “come out”.
“Harry Potter” fans often visit the beach in Wales where Dobby the Elf was laid to rest in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1”. But it’s become an environmental problem because people leave tributes to Dobby, which, of course, includes lots of SOCKS. Local officials debated shutting down the gravesite. They decided to let it remain open under one condition: That visitors only take photos to help protect the landscape. In other words, no more socks!

Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel have never shared a stage . . . but that’s about to change
They’re co-headlining a show on April 8th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. That’s where the Dallas Cowboys play. Tickets go on sale a week from tomorrow. The show is being billed as “Two Icons, One Night” . . . but when Stevie posted about it on Instagram, she added a caption saying, quote, “Excited to hit the road with the amazing Billy Joel in 2023 . . . More soon!” Which COULD mean there’ll be more dates.
Creed hasn’t exactly been cool for a minute. Or longer. But Scott Stapp doesn’t mind being held up as an example of LAMENESS. Because it means people are rediscovering the band. He says, quote, “I’m proud I’m a meme! How many people get to be a meme? . . . Man, how many people get that. [To be] a part of a generation of people, and [to get to] tie into a new generation.” Stapp even remembers a car ride where his son Jagger was making fun of his singing on “With Arms Wide Open” . . . a song he actually wrote FOR Jagger.
Celebrities aren’t always “just like us.” Especially when it comes to child-rearing. Here are some “unconventional” parenting tips from famous people:
- Kourtney Kardashian: Ditch the microwave. Quote, “I did a lot of health-related research and decided to get rid of my microwave when I read that toxins from plastic containers can be transferred to food when reheated.”
- Pamela Anderson: Let your kids experiment. Quote, “We want them to practice safe sex, drink and experiment with drugs in moderation, find true love.”
- Gisele Bundchen: Breast milk cures everything. Quote, “If they had something in their eyes, I’d put milk in their eyes. Before their flight, I would get a dropper and put milk up their nose . . . to [ward off] the bacteria on the plane.”
- Leah Remini: Just let ’em do whatever they want. Quote, “I’m very consistent; I give in. We’re definite pushovers and at the end of the day you have to follow your heart.”
- Lisa Whelchel: Punish them with a dab of hot sauce on the tongue. Quote, “It does sting and the memory stays with them.”
- Christina Aguilera: Naked Sundays!!! Quote, “[My son] will be growing up in a house where [nudity is] just the norm . . . It’s only weird when you shame it.”
- Kristen Bell: Lock the kids in their room so they learn to sleep in their own bed. Quote, “I’m sorry, I know that’s controversial . . . before we go to bed, obviously, we unlock it.”

The Blues have now lost six in a row, and that matches their longest losing streak in nine years, when the 2013-14 Blues lost their final six games of an otherwise highly successful season — in which they finished with 111 points. The Blues now go on the road for five of their next six contests, starting with a game Monday against the Boston Bruins.

Ray Guy, the first punter to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame, died Thursday. He was 72. This dude was the first punter ever taken in the first round of the NFL draft, which happened back in 1973 when the Raiders picked him. He played his entire 14-year career with the team. He was a three-time All-Pro selection. In 2014, he became the first player to make be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame exclusively for his punting. The yearly award that goes to the best punter in college football is named after Guy, who also became first punter ever inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.

Adam Zimmer was living in Minnesota while working for the Bengals. The Mendota Heights police department received a call for a welfare check Monday at 1:13 p.m. CT, according to police chief Wayne Wegener Jr.
Officers arrived at Zimmer’s home and found him deceased inside. Wegener said his office is “not investigating this as a suspicious death.”
The Nets have suspended Kyrie Irving for at least 5 games after the team says the NBA superstar repeatedly failed to fully apologize for promoting an antisemitic film, with the org. saying he’s “currently unfit to be associated with the Brooklyn Nets.” The team released a statement Thursday night announcing the move … a week after the 30-year-old, 7x NBA All-Star tweeted about a film, “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America!” On Thursday, he met with members of the media, and again refused to directly apologize. The Nets will play the Washington Wizards Friday night in D.C. Irving will not be on the floor. If he serves the minimum suspension, he’d be eligible to return against the Lakers on November 13th in Los Angeles. But, given Kyrie’s hesitation to say sorry, that’s a giant IF. www.tmz.com
Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder has hired Bank of America Securities to consider the possible sale of the NFL franchise, the organization announced Wednesday.
Snyder and his family control all shares of the team after minority partners were bought out in March 2021. The most recent transaction of an NFL team happened in August, when a group led by Walmart heir Rob Walton purchased the Denver Broncos for a record $4.6 billion.
According to a report from Forbes, several interested parties have been in contact with Snyder. Dudes been under fire for a few years now actually. The NFL fined the organization $10 million, and co-CEO Tanya Snyder was told to focus more on team matters. Meanwhile, Dan Snyder was told to focus on other issues after last year’s outcome of an investigation into the team. Congress began investigating the team in October 2021 when allegations of sexual harassment and workplace misconduct arose after then-Raiders head coach Jon Gruden stepped down following the leak of emails with then-Commanders team President Bruce Allen.
Allen was fired in December 2019 after 10 years with the franchise, of which he served in various executive roles.
The lawmakers’ investigation found that Snyder played a significant role in fostering a toxic work environment and pointed to evidence that suggested Snyder impeded the NFL’s independent probe into those allegations. Snyder refused to testify at a hearing before the House lawmakers in June as part of the investigation and it looks like now he knows it’s time to go. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/commanders-dan-synder-hires-bank-in-first-step-towards-possible-team-sale
THIS JUST IN:

And, we’re told a partnership between the men is on the table.
Teagan Quitoriano had quite a moment on Thursday night.
The Houston Texans rookie tight end had never caught a pass before Thursday night. The fifth-round pick hadn’t even played in an NFL regular-season game. But he was active on Thursday night and on the Texans’ first drive, Texans quarterback Davis Mills threw his way in the end zone. Quitoriano made an impressive catch in traffic for his first catch and his first touchdown.
Why do we care? Well, it Being the first touchdown of the game means it mattered to a lot of bettors. Considering Quitoriano was an unknown who never had played a game, he wasn’t listed in the first touchdown bettor odds. BetMGM announced they’d be giving refunds on first touchdown scorer and first Texans touchdown scorer bets.
