CHRISTINA APPLEGATE has multiple sclerosis.  In a series of Tweets she said, quote, “Hi friends.  A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS.  It’s been a strange journey. “But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition.  It’s been a tough road.  But as we all know, the road keeps going.  Unless some [A-hole] blocks it.” Production on Christina’s Netflix series “Dead to Me” has been paused temporarily.  Netflix and CBS Studios said, quote, “We love and support Christina and respect her privacy as she takes the time and space she needs in this moment.” MS is a disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and the body.  It affects an estimated 2.3 million people worldwide. Celebrities who are dealing with it include Selma BlairJamie-Lynn SieglerMontell Williams, and Jack Osbourne.

Remember back in May when JENNIFER ANISTON and DAVID SCHWIMMER both confessed during the “Friends” reunion that they were secretly crushing on each other back in the day?  Well, that was enough for the rumors to start flying. A so-called source says they’ve been texting each other since the reunion.  Plus David supposedly flew from his home in New York to see her in L.A., where she’s making him home-cooked meals and taking him to her favorite vineyards. Their reps denied the rumors last night. During the reunion, David said, quote, “The first season I had a major crush on Jen,” and she responded, “It was reciprocated.”  So make of that what you will.

Looks like HUGH JACKMAN has no intention of playing Wolverine again.

In a YouTube interview, Hugh said, quote, “There’s nothing in my inbox from [Marvel boss] Kevin Feige [which] means it’s probably, no matter what idea I came up with, not on the table . . . “It’s still a character I hold close to my heart.  But I know it’s done.” He added, quote, “Tell that to whoever you want . . . but please tell it to RYAN [REYNOLDS] because he doesn’t believe it . . . he thinks I’m joking.”

Dog the Bounty Hunter (LINK)‘s gearing up to wed his fiancee very soon, and he doesn’t feel bad about remarrying anymore following the death of his wife, Beth (LINK) … because God approves. Dog just revealed his major life news on the podcast, “Two Guys from Hollywood,” telling the cohosts his wedding to Francie Frane is scheduled to go down September!  Dog and Francie got engaged (LINK) in May 2020 — 10 months after Beth died (LINK) of cancer — and Francie also lost her spouse to cancer shortly before Dog did. The couple is obviously still going strong, and Dog says though he initially felt uneasy about getting remarried after losing Beth … that all changed when he read some scripture. Dog says he found a passage in The Bible that says, “God does not want a man to be alone, that he knows we need a companion, whether we’re man or woman.” Now, that doesn’t sound like an exact quote — but you get the idea. Dog previously said he wants his ceremony with Francie to be “the biggest wedding there’s ever been.”

Lollapalooza was good to Illinois. The festival helped the state break its own marijuana sales record last month, with $127.8 million in sales! $42 million in marijuana sales came from out-of-state visitors, who helped increase Illinois sales by 16% compared to June. Cresco Labs spokesperson Jason Erkes said Lollapalooza was the company’s biggest sales weekend to date.

After announcing Jenna Ortega as the title character in his Addams Family spinoff Wednesday, Tim Burton has found his Morticia and Gomez Addams. Catherine Zeta-Jones will play morbid matriarch Morticia with Luis Guzman playing her husband, the debonair Gomez. The Netflix series will follow Wednesday Addams during her years at Nevermore Academy, where she uses her emerging psychic abilities to solve mysteries. The eight-episode series doesn’t have a release date at this time.

Hulu has rounded out the cast of its highly anticipated How I Met Your Mother update, How I Met Your Father (LINK). The 10-episode comedy (LINK) stars Hilary Duff as Sophie, who is telling her son the story of how she met his father. The series revolves around Sophie and her close-knit group of friends who are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.  Other actors signed up are Chris Lowell from Veronica Mars, Tom Ainsley from the Royals…and many more.

A custom toymaker turned FRED DURST’s new “dad rock” look . . . with his silver, medium length hair and Hulk Hogan-style mustache . . . into an action figure, and put it on eBay. Fred found out about it and tried to buy it . . . and he lost.  Apparently, he was only willing to pay up to $415 for it, and it went for $680 after a total of 54 bids. Fred posted a picture of it on his Instagram story and said, quote, “I lost the auction on this illegal toy.  Things are good.”

Guns n’ Roses is now in Spotify’s Billions Club; their 1987 track “Sweet Child of Mine” has now reached one billion streams on the streaming service. Other songs in Spotify’s Billions Club include Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Less than two years ago. the video for “Sweet Child of Mine” also became the first 80’s music video to rack up one billion views on YouTube. The song comes from Gn’R’s 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction, which still stands as the best-selling debut of all time.

Stevie Nicks (LINK) has canceled five forthcoming performances at music festivals, citing coronavirus concerns, she said in a statement Tuesday. Nicks had been scheduled to headline one day each of BottleRock Napa Valley in California and the Jazz Aspen Festival in Colorado in September. In October, she was to have played two days of the Austin City Limits Music Festival and one day of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The dates were all the shows she had planned for 2021.

There’s something happening on “Jeopardy!” right now that might be even more interesting than the drama over who’s going to be the new host. A contestant named MATT AMODIO has won 15 straight games, and he’s climbing up the all-time list of regular-season earners. As of last night (LINK) he’s won $475,600, which puts him in FOURTH PLACE. Third place is currently held by Jason Zuffranieri with $532,496.  At the rate Matt’s going, he could hit that this week if he keeps winning.  But getting any higher will take a while. James Holzhauer is in second place, with about $2.46 MILLION.  And all-time champ Ken Jennings has $2.52 million. Given his average daily winnings, Amodio is almost 80 games away from Holzhauer.

Batman: Urban Legends dropped its latest issue Tuesday, and Robin comes out as bisexual. While rescuing a guy named Bernard Dowd from the Chaos Monsters, Robin has a “lightbulb moment”. Later, as his civilian persona Tim Drake, he shows up at Dowd’s house to check on him saying he’d like to figure out the feelings he has being around Dowd. Dowd says he’d like to figure out his feelings, too, and asks Drake on a date.  The comic book leaves you on a cliffhanger with Tim Drake responding “Yes”, that he will go on a date with Dowd. Fans of the series had a feeling this is what DC had been working towards for a while.

And finally…The Motorhead (LINK) classic “Ace of Spades” commands attention from its opening notes, so you can imagine the response that happened in a town in the Netherlands when the local church bells started ringing out to “Ace of Spades.”  Back in July, the city was playing host to a music festival and to mark the occasion a local guitarist partnered with a keyboardist and bell-ringer to give the town’s citizen a church bell performance unlike any other they’d heard.
