They say celebrity deaths happen in threes, and this weekend proves that:

Jimmy Buffett has passed at 76 after a four-year battle with skin cancer. A statement on his website read “Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs. He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”  Buffett launched to fame in 1977 with the hit “Margaritaville”, which later inspired a brand that would place the singer-songwriter’s net worth at more than $1 billion.  There are restaurants, a radio station, clothing, food, alcohol and even resorts built around the brand – LINK

Steve Harwell, who fronted Smash Mouth for over two decades and was the voice on hits like “All Star” and “Walking on the Sun,” has died. He was 56. The band’s manager Robert Hayes said that Harwell died at his home in Boise, Idaho surrounded by family and friends.” He added that the musician “passed peacefully and comfortably.” TMZ reported on Sunday that Harwell had entered hospice for liver failure, but Hayes did not reveal the cause of death – LINK

Gary Wright best known for his song, ‘Dream Weaver’ has died after a long battle with his health. He was 80 years old. Gary had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s about 5 or 6 years ago and Lewy body dementia shortly thereafter. His family and loved ones were by his side at the time of his death – LINK

The Rolling Stones will officially announce the release of their new album, Hackney Diamonds, tomorrow morning and it will be live-streamed on YouTube with The Tonight Show and excellent Mick Jagger impersonator Jimmy Fallon doing an interview with Mick, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – VIDEO

Metallica postponed their Sunday night show in Phoenix to Saturday, September 9th after James Hetfield tested positive for COVID. In more Metallica news, “Nothing Else Matters” has passed a billion streams on Spotify. It’s their second track to do so, following “Enter Sandman.”

Ozzy Osbourne is getting back into the podcast realm. The second season of The Osbournes podcast, which also features SharonKelly and Jack, launches on September 12th in audio and video form. Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly home and “feeling better” after a brief hospital visit. Kourtney is expecting a baby boy with her husband, Travis Barker and some fans speculated that she had the baby, but the couple was seen leaving a hospital together on Saturday, and Kourtney was still visibly pregnant.  It is still unclear why Kourtney sought medical attention. An Instagram account started spreading a rumor that Jenna Ortega and Johnny Depp are in a romantic relationship. The Instagram account DeuxMoi claimed the 60-year-old and 20-year-old were recently seen together, possibly because they were working on the Beetlejuice sequel. But Johnny’s rep shot down the story, saying, “Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever. He has never met her or spoken to her…He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumors that are intended to harm his reputation and career.” Jenna then chimed in, saying, “This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh. I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone.” – LINK

St. Louis CITY SC fell 2-1 to Sporting KC on Saturday night at Children’s Mercy Park. St. Louis took the lead through Sam Adeniran in the 22nd minute before Alan Pulido scored two goals in the first half to secure the win for the home side.
