In Travis’ defense, that his offer would NOT have prevented them from suing him. The victim’s family attorney said in part, quote, “I have no doubt Mr. Scott feels remorse.  He must face and hopefully see that he bears some of the responsibility for this tragedy”. Special Victims Unit detectives were there executing a search warrant yesterday. Manson wasn’t there but law enforcement apparently forced entry with a warrant in hand. The warrant is in connection to sexual assault allegations against Marilyn … and police seized media storage units, including hard drives, which will be reviewed before the case is submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney. This all started back in February. Manson is accused of locking women in a soundproof room in the home, something he allegedly did to punish them. His lawyer says they are cooperating with the investigation. What cover band would you want to be snowed in with at a bar with along with a bunch of relative strangers? You want to crowd surf go for it. You want to crowd surf while wearing your prosthetic leg? Don’t be surprised if it disappears. But at a Gwar show they’ll get it back for you.  In San Francisco on Sunday it happened.  GWAR bassist BEEFCAKE THE MIGHTY came to his rescue. He stepped up to the microphone and said, quote, “If anybody’s got a fake leg out there, or got an extra fake leg, send it this way because this guy needs his [effing] leg.” Sure enough, the leg made its way back through the crowd to its owner. GWAR posted a video and said, quote, “Not the first (or last) time someone lost a body part in the GWAR pit.  This time it was just caught on video.”  “Variety” chose what they believe are the best “Seinfeld” episodes.

  1. “The Comeback”,  Season 8.  George is so obsessed with getting back at a co-worker who insulted him.
  1. “The Soup Nazi”, Season 7.
  1. “The Library”,  Season 3:  A library cop comes after Jerry for an overdue book
  1. “The Chinese Restaurant”,  Season 2:  The gang waits for a table at a Chinese restaurant.  That’s the plot.  Also, this is one of the few episodes without Kramer.
  1. “The Parking Garage”,  Season 3.  The gang can’t find their car in a parking garage.  This and “The Chinese Restaurant”are two of the best examples of how “Seinfeld” became known as a “show about nothing.”
  1. “The Contest”,  Season 4.  The gang bet with each other on who can go the longest without giving themselves a hand . . . a.k.a. being “masters of their domain.”
  1. “The Outing”,  Season 4.  A journalist thinks Jerry and George are gay.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
  1. “The Strike”,  Season 9.  The Festivus episode.
  1. “The Race”,  Season 6.  Jerry dates a woman whose boss turns out to be his old high school rival.
  1. “The Switch”,  Season 6:  Jerry wants to date his girlfriend’s roommate, and we learn that Kramer’s first name is Cosmo.

WILL FERRELL and writer-director-producer ADAM MCKAY were longtime partners in Gary Sanchez Productions, and they spent years making COMEDY GOLD. The website Funny Or Die . . . that’s theirs.  They also collaborated on the “Anchorman” movies, “Talladega Nights”“Step Brothers”“Daddy’s Home”“Get Hard”, and “The Campaign”. Plus, “Holmes and Watson” and “Land of the Lost”.    But they haven’t spoken since 2019 . . . and McKay has finally revealed why.  He’s doing an HBO drama about the 1980s L.A. Lakers . . . and Will wanted to play owner JERRY BUSS.  But McKay gave the part to their mutual friend JOHN C. REILLY. He says, quote, “I should have called [Will] and I didn’t.  And Reilly did, of course, because Reilly, he’s a stand-up guy.” The last time they spoke was when they decided to end their partnership.  Quote, “[Will] basically was like, ‘Have a good life.’  And I’m like, ‘[Eff], Ferrell’s never going to talk to me again.’  So it ended not well.” (LINK)   BRADLEY COOPER said he was held at knifepoint in 2019 in a subway station in New York City. And what was he doing on a subway at that hour… right before noon?  He was on his way to pick up his daughter from Russian school. But didn’t file a report (LINK)  “House of Gucci” is getting mixed reviews but the actual Gucci family  says no thank you very much. An official statement calls the film, quote, “extremely painful from a human point of view and an insult to the legacy on which the brand is built today.” The Guccis also say they’re falsely portrayed as “hooligans” who were, quote, “ignorant and insensitive to the world that surrounded them.” They’re also not happy that LADY GAGA’s character, Patrizia Reggiani, is portrayed as a victim . . . even though she spent 16 years in prison for ordering the murder of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci (LINK) Its like an early Christmas for King Scott because a third “Magic Mike” movie is on the way.  CHANNING TATUM will be returning as the stripper Mike Lane. The movie will be called “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” and will only be available on HBO Max.  It’ll have the same director as the first film and the same writer as the last two. Not much about it is known yet (LINK) Fans are freaking over getting their Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets that went on sale at 12:01 am on Monday. The AMC Theatres app was not working when fans tried to buy. One reason at AMC is because of an exclusive NFT offer. Sony Pictures and AMC are offering certain club members an exclusive Spider-Man NFT with an opening day advance ticket purchase or reservation. The first 86,000 who reserve their tickets will receive the NFT. Once fans were able to access the app, many were hit with wait times as large as 45 minutes to get tickets. Spider-Man: Now Way Home could top $100 million when it opens in December.  Check out a clip from the trailer for HBO’s new documentary “Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street”. sports_report_2.jpg Today the Blues start a home and home with the Tampa Bay Lightning as they start things off at Enterprise Center at 7PM.  The Blues are coming off a 6-3 win against the Blue Jackets on Saturday.  Tonight, the Blues and Lightning play in STL and then on Thursday – the two teams play in Tampa. Let’s chat Monday Night Football. Scoring at an all time high….or….it wasn’t.  But – there wasn’t a tie – so one team had to win, the other had to lose.  And – it was a late pick from Washington that sealed the deal and gave them the 17-15 win.  Washington is now 5-6 and Seattle is 3-8. In a stunning move, Brian Kelly is leaving Notre Dame to become the next head football coach at LSU. An agreement is likely to be finalized in the next 24 hours. Kelly, in his 12th season at Notre Dame, will replace Ed Orgeron, whom LSU announced on Oct. 17 would not return as coach in 2022, less than two years removed from an undefeated season and a national championship. Kelly, 60, became the winningest coach in Notre Dame history earlier this season. Kelly is 113-40, guiding the Fighting Irish to the BCS title game in 2012 and to College Football Playoff appearances in 2018 and 2020.  The craziest thing about all this to me?  The players at Notre Dame AND LSU found out when the news broke on social media.  Brian Kelly group texted his players and apologized for the way they found out and said he would address the team today. Star right-hander Max Scherzer and the New York Mets have agreed to a three-year, $130 million contract. Scherzer can opt out of the contract after the second season of the deal, the sources said. The $43.33 million average annual salary of the deal sets a record, surpassing the $36 million New York Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole is averaging after signing a nine-year, $324 million contract in 2019. Scherzer, 37, becomes the oldest player in MLB history to sign a $100 million contract, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Kevin Brown was 33 when he signed the first $100 million deal in MLB history in 1998. Shortstop Corey Seager and the Texas Rangers are in agreement on a 10-year, $325 million deal. The Rangers, looking to capitalize on their new ballpark and return to prominence after five consecutive losing seasons, have committed $556 million to three players in a span of hours. Seager’s deal came one day after the Rangers signed second baseman Marcus Semien to a seven-year, $175 million contract and starting pitcher Jon Gray to a four-year, $56 million contract. Mizzou picked up the win against Paul Quinn last night 91-59 in Columbia.  They take on Liberty on Thursday at 6PM.  14th ranked Illinois beat Notre Dame 82-72 last night.  They take on Rutgers on Friday.  SLU takes on Boise State tonight on the road.  Tip off is scheduled for 8PM. Tiger Woods did his first in-depth interview since the car crash in February.  In the accident, Woods suffered significant damage to his legs after his vehicle went out of control on a Southern California hill.  Speaking to Golf Digest, Woods gave an update on his rehabilitation.  He said, “everything is progressing nicely, but not at my timetable. Not at the speed I would like to heal at…It’s one of those things that I wish I could do everything I could do but it’s not quite there.” Tiger was honest about the prospects of him playing professional golf again.  He explained, “I think something that is realistic is playing the [PGA] tour one day – never full time, ever again – but pick and choose. Pick and choose a few events a year, and you play around that. You practice around that, and you gear yourself up for that. I think that’s how I’m going to have to play it from now on. It’s an unfortunate reality, but it’s my reality. And I understand it, and I accept it.” Paige Bueckers is the face of women’s college basketball this season and is now one of the new faces of Gatorade. Gatorade announced it agreed to an endorsement deal with the UConn guard, making her the company’s first signed college player. The announcement noted it was a multiyear deal that will help the two sides “drive impact on the women’s game.” Bueckers was previously named the Gatorade Player of the Year in high school
