Somehow, even with EVERYTHING that’s happened this year, the CDC found one in four people still don’t always wash their hands before they eat.

Two high school teachers in California have been placed on leave after they forgot to turn off their video after remote learning and were caught on camera criticizing some of their students.

Some election officials in California are asking people to stop sanitizing their mail-in ballots.  The ballots were processed by machines several weeks ago so, quote, “voters do not have to worry about contracting COVID from their ballots.”

Annual performances of “The Nutcracker” are getting canceled all over the country because of the pandemic, which is yet another huge blow to dancers and performance venues, both of which have already had a brutal year.

Three actors who played jewel thieves on “NCIS: New Orleans” are suing CBS, after real cops showed up while they were filming the robbery. The scene was shot at a jewelry store in Louisiana in 2017, but what the actors didn’t know is that the show decided to film it “guerrilla-style” . . . without permits, and without alerting police or the people at surrounding businesses. So when the three men pulled up to the shop in an unmarked van, got out wearing ski masks and carrying machine guns, and ran into the store yelling “This is a robbery!” . . . somebody in a shop next door called 911. Cops rushed to the scene pointing REAL weapons at the actors . . . who say they could have been killed if they made one false move.  They claim they were traumatized by the incident, and they want CBS to pay damages.

In certain times you just say nice things and move on…or you are singer DAVID CROSBY. After EDDIE VAN HALEN died, someone asked him for his opinion on Eddie, and he said, quote, “Meh.” Obviously it’s a liitle fresh to be doing that and social media went after him a bit saying that was unkind. He replied, quote, “Sorry . . . just meant he does not move me much.” TRACII GUNS from L.A. GUNS was a little more blunt in confronting Crosby.  He said, quote, “Wrong answer as [eff] and rude as [eff]!!! “There are better ways to say you don’t care for someone’s music.  That was very disrespectful.  And yes straight out [eff] you and your smug answer.” DEE SNIDER  added, quote, “Agreed.  That said, I’ve always hated David Crosby AND his mustache.” Another fan reminded David that Eddie, quote, “Changed the world of guitar.” David didn’t agree . . . but at least he got a little more polite.  He said, quote, “Hendrix changed the world of guitar.  Nobody else really . . . “look I get it . . . many of you loved Van Halen . . . and the one time I met he was nice . . . and he was talented . . . meh to me means I don’t care that much . . . and I don’t . . . doesn’t mean he wasn’t good, he was but not for me.”

This year’s inductees are Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., and T-Rex. Grohl will start the show with an intro to ALL of them, and the other celebrities will speak about how the artists impacted their lives and careers.

That guy skateboarding to “Dreams” has really come full-circle.  Mick Fleetwood chatted online with Nathan Apodaca, and says the band owes him for all the recent success with the song.  Here’s part of their conversation. And…A Nathan costume will be going up for sale as of last night on his website. It includes a gray hoodie that says “Steady Vibin’,” black shorts, a pair of knee-high white socks, a mustache and a temporary feather tattoo. Retailing for $87.99. Supposedly the costume will also include an option for an Ocean Spray coupon, with a link to Walmart that comes with a discount code for Nathan’s favorite drink. Plus, a second add-on for a skateboard.

Sharon Osbourne says husband,  71 year old Ozzy, will tour in 2022, and that the tour dates are already set. Until then, Sharon said Ozzy is staying busy working on a new album less than eight months after he released ‘Ordinary Man’ with producer Andrew Watt. Ozzy’s wife also said “We’re doing a movie on Ozzy’s life and he’s got to do the soundtrack for that.  So, I’ll just keep him busy.  Let’s put it that way.”

Green Day is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their fourth album, ‘Insomniac’ by releasing a double LP. The first record will have a remastered version of ‘Insomniac’ while the second record will include live tracks from a 1996 show in Prague.  There’s only one catch; COVID-19 has delayed production for the re-release so it won’t be available until 2021.  Make sure you sign up for updates on the album at Green Day’s website. In the meantime, front man Billie Joe Armstrong has released a 20-minute video from their infamous ’95-’96 European tour on YouTube.

Are you interested in a heavy metal version of the “DuckTales” theme song?  This guy did all the instruments and vocals, and it’s pretty good.

JON CRYER lost his wedding ring while he was walking along the sea wall in Vancouver.  He looked everywhere, but all he found was a pair of glasses. He decided to post the glasses on the lost and found section of Craigslist, when he noticed a link to a site called The Ring Finders.  It’s a directory of independent metal detector specialists from all over the world, who you can hire to find lost jewelry, keys, cell phones and other metal stuff. So Jon got a local guy to come out, and he found the wedding ring.  Jon posted a picture of the ring, and the guy who found it. ( James Harmon in Rolla…I work on a Reward Basis, you pay what its worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. Disney’s Space Mountain is an indoor roller coaster with an outer space theme.  It doesn’t have a “plot”, or any characters or “scenes” you can build a plot on, so it makes sense they are making a movie out of it. Good chances are the movie will be very LOOSELY based on the ride. All we know right now is that it’ll be a “family adventure.”  It’s intended as a theatrical release . . . and since it’s still in the early stages, theaters MIGHT be a thing again by the time it’s done. Space Mountain was introduced at Disney World in Orlando in 1975.  It made its way to Disneyland in California in 1977.  It’s now in five of the six Disney parks around the world.

The NICOLE KIDMAN horror movie “The Others” is being remade, even though the original came out just 19 years ago.  There aren’t many details yet, including any word on casting. The interesting thing is that “The Others” has a surprise TWIST ENDING . . . like “The Sixth Sense” . . . so it’ll be interesting to see if they keep it the same, or mix it up somehow. Obviously, it would be a challenge to keep it interesting with the same ending, but then again, the ending was one of the main reasons the movie became a sleeper hit in the first place.

Hall of Fame second baseman Joe Morgan, a key member of the Cincinnati Reds‘ famed Big Red Machine, died Sunday. He was 77. Morgan died Sunday at his home in Danville, California.

Morgan struggled with various health issues in recent years, including a nerve condition, a form of polyneuropathy. Morgan was a two-time National League Most Valuable Player, a 10-time All-Star and a five-time Gold Glove Award winner. He is widely regarded as one of the best second basemen in baseball history, and he gained renown for his 25-plus years as a broadcaster after his playing career.

VIVA LAS VEGAS says Alex Pietrangelo. The four-time Blues captain, two-time NHL all-star, and — of course — Stanley Cup-winning defenseman is headed to Las Vegas on a seven-year free-agent contract worth $8.8 million per year. It became official with an announcement by the Golden Knights last night. The now-former Blues defenseman got his cash though and got the full no-movement clause that had been a sticking point in his negotiations with St. Louis. The Blues had offered $8 million over eight years before Pietrangelo hit the market Friday morning, for a total of $64 million. Pietrangelo’s Vegas deal totals $61.6 million — but again, over only seven years. Now there’s no state income tax in Nevada. But that’s at least partially canceled out by a higher overall cost of living in Las Vegas. As for the no-movement clause, the Blues offered only a partial clause according to Blues general manager Doug Armstrong. Another sticking point was signing bonus money, but there was no immediate word Monday night on whether Pietrangelo got any signing bonus money from the Golden Knights. For most Blues fans, Pietrangelo’s decade-plus tenure in St. Louis came to an end Friday when the Blues signed Boston’s Torey Krug to a seven-year deal averaging $6.5 million per year, in effect as Pietrangelo’s replacement. Pietrangelo himself said when he found out about Krug’s signing it caught him off guard.  Pietrangelo, 30, was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2008 draft by St. Louis, and became a regular in the Blues’ lineup in 2010. According to Armstrong, the Blues made numerous contract offers starting with the 2018-19 offseason. We wish you well.

Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is recovering and in “good condition” after he was stabbed during an altercation Sunday night in San Diego.

Both Pham and the Padres confirmed the news. Citing two people who talked to the veteran big leaguer, a newspaper reported Monday that Pham left an establishment, saw two people whom he didn’t know arguing near his car and eventually asked them to move. Pham then was stabbed in the lower back. No major organs were hit, and stitches were needed to sew up the wound.

The San Diego PD said that the stabbing occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. PT outside the Pacers Showgirls International gentlemen’s club. Police are still investigating the incident, and the attackers remain at large. The incident occurred three days after the upstart Padres were ousted in the National League Division Series by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Sunday was an awful day for the Dallas Cowboys and their fans. Quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a devastating ankle injury while the Cowboys were playing the New York Giants. Prescott dislocated his ankle and reportedly had surgery on Sunday night to repair a compound fracture. With Prescott now out for at least the rest of the season, Cowboys players and fans are both lamenting his injury and trying to be positive about the team’s 11 remaining games.

The Falcons’ season couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start. They lost in Week 1, as the Seattle Seahawks blew them out. In Week 2, they had an inexplicable loss to the Dallas Cowboys after having a 19-point lead in the second half. Team owner Arthur Blank said he didn’t think the players knew what to do on a key onside kick late in the game, which wasn’t good news for Quinn the Falcon’s coach or should I say former coach.

The New Orleans Saints beat the Los Angeles Chargers in overtime last night on “Monday Night Football.”  The Saints had scored a field goal in OT, but the Chargers had one last turn with the ball.  This is how the game ended.

Final Score:  Saints 30 – Chargers 27

There’s another pro football game on tonight.  It’s rare that the NFL would play on a Tuesday night.  But they went ahead and made a new theme for it. –

Just the Tip:  It HAS happened before.  Here are details. In 2010, the Vikings and Eagles had to play Tuesday, due to too much Sunday snow in Philly.  But prior to that, you’d have to go all the way back to 1946.

Tonight:  Tuesday Night Football featuring two undefeated teams, the Buffalo Bills vs the Tennessee Titans.
