Man pooped in box at Meijer in Belleville, put it back on shelf – Freep
A man pooped in an empty box, closed it, then left it on a shelf at a Van Buren Township Meijer, police said Tuesday.
The Meijer’s security footage recorded the suspect pooping in the aisle and then placing the defecated box back on the shelf. This incident took place at the 9701 Belleville Rd. Meijer on Thursday around 4 p.m. The suspect also stole some items from the store.
VAN HALEN guitarist EDDIE VAN HALEN died yesterday, after what his son WOLFGANG called a “long and arduous battle with cancer.” He was 65. Wolfie added, quote, “He was the best father I could ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage was a gift. My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll ever recover from this loss. I love you so much, Pop.” Wolfgang was at the hospital when Eddie passed, along with his mother VALERIE BERTINELLI, Eddie’s brother ALEX, and Eddie’s current wife Janie. Eddie and Valerie were married from 1981 to 2007. Eddie was first treated for tongue cancer in 2000. Although he was a longtime smoker, he blamed it on years of holding metal guitar picks in his mouth. Last year it was revealed that he had been battling throat cancer for several years, and flying to Germany for radiation treatment. According to TMZ, the cancer had spread to his brain and the rest of his organs, and he went downhill quickly over the last few days.
Nickelback: “The world lost an icon, innovator, showman, virtuoso, master songwriter and perhaps one of the biggest inspirations ever to learn how to play guitar.”
Tom Morello: “One of the greatest, most inventive, truly visionary musicians of all time. An unparalleled titan in the annals of rock n roll. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every spectacular note.
Nikki Sixx: “So [effing] crushed. RIP Eddie Van Halen. You changed our world. You were the Mozart of rock guitar.”
The music world actually lost TWO people yesterday. JOHNNY NASH, of “I Can See Clearly Now” fame, passed away, too. He was 80.A rare American-born singer of reggae, he helped launch the career of his friend Bob Marley. He was among the first artists to bring reggae to the U.S. audiences. He had success with an early version of Marley’s Stir it Up.. Reportedly written by Nash while recovering from cataract surgery, “I Can See Clearly Now” Although overlooked by Grammys judges, “I Can See Clearly Now” was covered by artists ranging from Ray Charles and Donny Osmond to Soul Asylum and Jimmy Cliff
After Regal Cinemas announced the company would shut down all of its theaters temporarily because of slow business due to COVID-19, other theater operators are not following in those footsteps. AMC and Cinemark Theaters have said their multiplexes will remain open. Roughly 80 percent of AMC and Cinemark locations will stay in operation. Theaters in certain parts of the country have not been allowed to open because of public health guidelines concerning coronavirus. AMC has an agreement to show Universal Studios’ movies and Cinemark is hosting private movie parties and classic film viewings.
I mentioned lately all the movies being pushed back by COVID. Dune moves to Oct 1 2021, The Batman March 4 2022, The Flash Nov 2022 and Disney saying in September most of their 2020 releases are moved to 2021. Now Warner Brothers has removed Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s “Black Adam” from its release schedule. It was supposed to come out in December 2021. Now, it is just without a release date. That all sucks. But the rain now brings flowers later. Like if and when the theaters open up here come all your superhero movies… After “Black Widow’s” premiere, 8 Marvel Studiosproductions or co-productions are scheduled to play in theaters over the subsequent 14 months.
May 7, 2021: “Black Widow” (Marvel Studios)
July 9, 2021: “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” (Marvel Studios)
Nov. 5, 2021: “Eternals” (Marvel Studios)
Dec. 17, 2021: Untitled “Spider-Man: Far From Home” sequel (Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios)
Feb. 11, 2022: “Thor: Love and Thunder” (Marvel Studios)
March 25, 2022: “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” (Marvel Studios)
May 6, 2022: “Black Panther II” (Marvel Studios)
July 8, 2022: “Captain Marvel 2” (Marvel Studios)
Also consider that Disney is packing a release calendar that also features superhero films from Sony Pictures (part of the studio’s expanding cinematic universe of Spider-Man characters) and the DC Films productions from Warner Bros. When factoring all those films, 12 superhero movies are set to open over 16 months from March 2021 through July 2022.

A grand jury in Tyler County, Texas has indicted Netflix over lewd depictions of children in the movie “Cuties”. The indictment accuses Netflix of promoting, quote, “visual material which depicts the lewd exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 years of age at the time the visual material was created. “Which appeals to the prurient interest in sex and has no serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.” Netflix isn’t backing down though. They said, quote, “‘Cuties’ is a social commentary against the sexualization of young children. This charge is without merit and we stand by the film.”
It always stands out when a beloved broadcaster messes up on a pronounciation. When they are as professional as can be most of the time yet have one slip up its horrific here is one example. So I understand how Wendy Williams could mess up a word, a tough word, that has not been used much over the last 7 months.
The season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” had a socially-distanced audience. But only because the show PAID them. And no, it wasn’t due to the quality of the comedy. Thanks to COVID restrictions in New York State, in-person audiences aren’t allowed unless they’re paid, as employees would be. One guy who was there says everybody got a check for $150 after the show. Quote, “We had no idea we would be paid before we were handed checks. We were all very pleasantly surprised.”
“The Price Is Right” is heading back into production for the first time since the initial COVID-19 lockdown . . . and there will be some changes. For starters, there WON’T be an audience for the first time ever. Obviously, they couldn’t have 300 people sitting close together . . . losing their minds. And unlike other shows, they couldn’t do the VIRTUAL audience thing, because there’s no way they could’ve ensured that audience members weren’t looking up the prices online. So, someone could just Google how much Gold Bond healing lotion is, and communicate that to the contestant. Interesting Fact: They couldn’t do that before either, because the show didn’t allow cell phones in the studio. But not everything is changing. They figured out ways to do all 77 pricing games while social distancing, so nothing will be lost there. They also made some changes to the set to keep the contestants, cast, and crew safe, but everyone WILL still spin the wheel . . . they just have to sanitize their hands first, and then the wheel will be sanitized.
On Hulu Today…“Hubie Halloween” on Hulu. Adam Sandler plays a fool who lives in Salem and believes monsters are real, so he constantly tries to protect his town from them. Unfortunately, this year he’s RIGHT . . . but no one will believe him

Lebron James and the Lakers are one win away from the franchise’s 17th championship. James finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds and the Lakers beat the Miami Heat 102-96 in Game 4. The Lakers lead 3-1 and can win the title when the series resumes Friday. This is the 36th time that a team has held a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. Of the previous 35, the team with the lead has gone on to win the title 34 times. Also The Lakers led 49-47 at halftime. It was just the third time in the last 26 NBA Finals games that neither team reached 50 points in the first 24 minutes.
All four of Major League Baseball’s best-of-five Division Series were in action Tuesday with two NLDS Game 1s and a pair of ALDS Game 2s. The Braves started the day with a Game 1 win over the Marlins before the Astros homered their way to another win over the Athletics. The Rays evened up their ALDS matchup with the Yankees by homering four times and striking out their competition 18 times in a Game 2 victory. The Padres fell to the Dodgers in the nightcap.
The Marlins and the Braves started the day’s action with a back-and-forth contest that featured some elevated tempers after Ronald Acuna Jr., who hit a homer in the bottom of the first made his second plate appearance he was beamed by an Alacantra pitch in the third. Acuna appeared to take exception to Alcantara’s errant offering, because they’ve thrown at him a lot his year and the two sides jawed before he took his base but sadly no windbreakers. Something even more noteworthy, watching the broadcast yesterday I heard an angelic voice during the broadcast. Cardinals own Adam Wainwright has been announcing. I think he has a career in the booth after he retires in 6 years. The Braves ended up beating the Marlins 9 to 5. Braves lead 1-0
We’re FOUR WEEKS into the NFL season, and the Cleveland Browns are 3-1. That means they have as many wins as the ENTIRE NFC East. Football fans have been bashing the NFC East on social media, because those teams ALL have losing records. The Philadelphia Eagles are 1-2-1. The Washington Football Team is 1-3.
The Dallas Cowboys are 1-3. And the New York Giants are 0-4. So, together they are 3-12-1 . . . and they’ve been outscored by 125 points combined. On the plus side, the Cowboys play the Giants in Week Five, so one of them SHOULD get another win . . . unless they tie. The Eagles play the Steelers and the Football Team plays the Rams, so those wins would be tougher to pull off.
Yesterday Tony touched on the Raiders breaking protocol getting 10 players fined for violating covid protocols. The fines weren’t the only thing to hit the team hard.. The Raiders defensive lineman Maurice Hurst was placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. News of Hurst’s placement on the list comes a day after from Raiders tight end Darren Waller, quarterback Derek Carr and others receiving fines for violating COVID-19 protocols while in attendance at a charity function hosted by Waller’s foundation in which the players were seen not wearing face coverings. Hurst was not one of the 10 players reported to be fined and there is no direct link currently known between Hurst’s placement and the infractions at the charity event. It’s not known if Hurst tested positive for the coronavirus or if he is quarantined in close contact with someone who was infected. Teams do not announce the reason for placement on the list.
The first round of 2020 NHL Draft has come to a conclusion. After a four-month delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the teams with Round 1 selections made their picks virtually for the first time ever. As expected, Alexis Lafreniere was selected first overall by the New York Rangers, followed by the Los Angeles Kings taking Quinton Byfield at No. 2. The Ottawa Senators had two choices in the first five picks and went with Tim Stutzle and Jake Sanderson. Now here are all 41 players listed…. If you wanna need more draft action the second through seventh rounds will start at 10:30am today on the NHL Network.
Breanna Stewart led Storm to Dominant WNBA Title Sweep Over Aces. Behind the stellar play of its star duo of Breanna Stewart and Sue Bird, Seattle completed its series sweep over the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday, winning 92-59, to claim this year’s title and the franchise’s second in three years.
Tony Finau will not participate in this week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas because he has tested positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour announced Tuesday. Finau’s positive test came during the Tour’s pre-tournament screening and has entered self-isolation. Bronson Burgoon will replace Finau in Las Vegas.
Here’s a crazy golf story
A beautiful golf course called Evergreen Golf Course is not only scenic from the rocky’s in view but because its full of elk. The elk are beautiful however a fella Bornhoft was golfing with three friends when a bull elk charged their golf cart on Saturday, stabbing him in the stomach. The antler traveled all the way through his body and into his left kidney, slicing it in two. Three inches either way would of killed the man and that it would have been better to be stab by a knife because of the dirt on the antlers. According to my sources the Doctor will be performing Tony’s surgery at Evergreen Golf Course on Friday.
