UFO sightings are up 51% this year as lots of people have taken up a UFO spotting hobby during quarantine.  And it could really help stop the virus spread if we all talked less and talked quieter in public . . . in fact, just talking quietly instead of yelling reduces the risk of transmitting coronavirus as much as wearing a mask.  (Full Story)

Apparently if you break into Charli XCX’s house get naked and relax in her hot tub she gets all triggered and calls the cops.  She filed a restraining order against a Wisconsin man who traveled to Los Angeles to meet with the singer. She has never met him before. He was arrested by LAPD after being confronted by her roommate, then breaking into her home and getting in her jacuzzi naked. He said they lived together in Wisconson.  Not long after that the authorities got an email from his mom who was concerned her son travelled to LA to find Charli. She sent an email with a photo which confirmed his ID. His prize was a no contact order and stay 100 yards away.

Actress Megan Drust has accused comedian Chris D’Elia of exposing himself to her in 2011, Apparently she agreed to give him a ride home from a restaurant, and in her car, she says he unzipped his pants and showed her his penis, this was before Uber and she says she felt safe with him having known him through friends. He says touch it she says no so he starts JOing she gets out of the car. More than one friend says yeah she told us about it.  Other women have said he exposed himself to them in 2015 and 2018. He has been accused of grooming underage girls online. He denies everything.

John Boyega (Finn in the Star Wars sequel trilogy films The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker).is upset about the treatment of Black characters in the latest Star Wars trilogy, accusing Disney of capitalising on their casting then they disappear. He does say this…”You get yourself involved in projects and you’re not necessarily going to like everything,” then follows with  “[But] what I would say to Disney is do not bring out a Black character, market them to be much more important in the franchise than they are and then have them pushed to the side. It’s not good. I’ll say it straight up.” I guess he started off in The Force Awakens as a big deal then kind of ignored in The Rise of Skywalker? He says the white lead actors were not treated that way…”Like, you guys knew what to do with Daisy Ridley, you knew what to do with Adam Driver. You knew what to do with these other people, but when it came to Kelly Marie Tran, when it came to John Boyega, you know f— all,” he said. “They gave all the nuance to Adam Driver, all the nuance to Daisy Ridley. Let’s be honest. Daisy knows this. Adam knows this. Everybody knows. I’m not exposing anything.”

It was all an act! PARIS HILTON has said before that she was playing a CHARACTER for most of the past two decades, including on “reality” shows like “The Simple Life”.  And she ISN’T as ditzy or stupid as she came across. That begs the question . . . WHY?  We find out in her upcoming documentary, “This Is Paris”, she says that as a teen she was physically and emotionally abused on a daily basis for nearly a year, when she was at a boarding school in Utah back in the ’90s. She says she manufactured a “Barbie persona” to detract from the pain in her past. (AUDIO) The documentary premieres September 14th on YouTube.

Is this Mariah Carey being bullied by Ellen back in 2008? Rumor was she was pregnant but she didn’t want to talk about it. Ellen decided to make her reveal it by NOT drinking booze. (AUDIO) So  in a new interview with Vulture, she says she was “extremely uncomfortable with that moment,” explaining, “I wasn’t ready to tell anyone because I had had a miscarriage.” Shortly after the interview, Page Six reports that Carey had another miscarriage, although she went on to get pregnant again with her 9-year-old twins Morrocan and Monroe, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

Is the world interested in a romantic comedy starring KATHIE LEE GIFFORD???  We’re about to find out. The movie is called “Then Came You”, and it’s supposed to be out next month.  It co-stars CRAIG FERGUSON and ELIZABETH HURLEY. It sounds maybe a tiny bit autobiographical.  Kathie Lee plays a widow who’s travelling the world with her husband’s ashes when she meets a Scottish innkeeper who “changes her life forever.”

A heated game between the Yankees and Rays was disrupted Wednesday evening. The cause? A drone flying over Yankee Stadium during the first inning.  The game resumed after a legnthy delay. It’s the second time a drone has caused a delay in an MLB game this season. A similar incident occurred during a Twins- Pirates game at in early August. Almost a month later, it’s become obvious that a drone entering a stadium’s airspace will lead to a delay and the most modern of baseball problems keeps popping up.

Speaking of the Yankees/Rays…remember yesterday we talked about the bench clearing incident during the game?  Well – now we are learning about the suspensions.  Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman has been suspended three games. Yankees manager Aaron Boone and Rays manager Kevin Cash were also suspended one game.  Chapman will appeal the suspension. While the actions of Champman and Boone got them the suspension, its the postgame comments by Cash on Tuesday that likely got him his one-game suspension.

The Heat became the first #5 seed to ever take a 2-0 lead over a #1 in a playoff series on Wednesday, after Jimmy Butler’s last-second free throws gave Miami a 116-114 victory over the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks. Houston’s James Harden had a tough night offensively, but made a crucial block with 4.8 seconds left. The Rockets will now move on to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the second-round, starting on Friday.

Over in the NHL, the Avalanche picked up a 4-1 over Dallas to force game 7.  That will be played on Friday night.  There are two games tonight.  The Flyers and Islanders will play Game 6 of their series.  If NY wins, it’s over for Philly.  Also the Vegas Golden Knights have a chance to eliminate the Canucks with a win.

Roger Goodell made his expectations clear for the NFL this season. The commissioner said he believes the league will be able to complete a full season and playoffs in 2020. On Tuesday, the league released its COVID-19 test results for August 21-29, with 10 players and team personnel testing positive. That followed a week in which no players tested positive at all. NFL owners were previously told to expect a high number of cases early in training camp before a leveling off as the season drew nearer.

How concerned is Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins about getting coronavirus as the NFL prepares to start its season during a pandemic? Not very. Cousins added that he doesn’t believe face masks prevent the spread of COViD-19, but that he tries to respect other people’s “concerns” about the virus.

The NCAA is furloughing nearly 600 employees at its Indianapolis headquarters for three-to-eight weeks beginning in late September due to the coronavirus pandemic. All staffers excluding senior executives will be subject to the furloughs. Senior management previously took pay reductions in March following the cancelation of March Madness. A statement released said: “We are committed to supporting our member schools and conferences and student-athletes in every way possible. I ask for your patience as we all strive to weather these difficult times together.”

Belmont Stakes champ Tiz the Law has been named as the favorite to win Saturday’s Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville. Tom Seaver, one of the most famous MLB pitchers of his era and a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, has passed away at age 75 from complications from Lewy body dementia and COVID-19. Seaver broke in with the New York Mets as a 22-year-old in 1967, and two years later helped the “Miracle” Mets win the 1969 World Series. Seaver is one of only two MLB pitchers to have 300 wins and 3000 strikeouts, retiring with 311 victories and a dazzling ERA of 2.86. He led the league in strikeouts five times, and wins and ERA three times each. He was a three-time Cy Young winner, and 12-time All-Star when he retired after the 1986 season. He received 98.8 percent of the votes when he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1992.
