Wet Leg has released a cover of the 2020 Ashnikko single “Daisy.”

In a statement, Wet Leg member Hester Chambers remembers first hearing “Daisy” while staying with bandmate Rhian Teasdale during the recording sessions for their breakout hit “Chaise Longue.”

“[Teasdale] had told me about this artist she’d been listening to loads,” Chambers recalls. “She sang and played ‘Daisy’ on the guitar in the morning while we had coffee. It feels like another little circle coming round in our Wet Leg world getting to make this cover.”

Wet Leg recorded the “Daisy” cover exclusively for Spotify. Their “Spotify Singles” release also includes a reworked version of their own song “Convincing,” which originally appears on their self-titled debut album.

In other Wet Leg news, the band has announced a mini four-show residency in New York City in December. The shows will take place across four different venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

You can also catch Wet Leg touring the U.S. in October. They’ll be playing a mix of headlining shows, festival sets and dates opening for Florence + the Machine.
