Tool‘s Danny Carey found himself playing the role of animal control while recently at session drummer Josh Freese‘s house.
Carey was apparently visiting Freese when a much less-welcome visitor appeared: a mouse. In an Instagram post, Freese shared a video of him and Carey trying to corner the mouse and lead it back outside.
A highlight of the video is when Carey lifts up a bed, only for the mouse to dart out from underneath it, leading to screams from the entire Freese household.
“Not a creature was stirring…except one single mouse,” Freese wrote in the caption.
Strangely, this isn’t the first instance of a rock musician trying to wrangle an animal in 2020. You may recall when Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus saved a deer from drowning in a lake, or when Alice in Chains‘ Jerry Cantrell called up his buddy Slash to help him remove a rattlesnake from his property.
