System of a Down gave their new singles “Protect the Land” and “Genocidal Humanodiz” their live debut during a concert in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The “Chop Suey!” rockers first premiered the tracks last November to raise awareness and support for their ancestral home of Armenia, which was under attack from Azerbaijan amid the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. When the songs were released, it marked the first new music from System in 15 years.
System of a Down’s tour continues Monday with a show in Oakland, California, followed by two dates in Los Angeles on October 22 and 23. Korn is also on the bill.
