THEORY OF A DEADMAN FRONTMAN SAYS MARRYING ‘BAD GIRLFRIEND’ IS GOOD IDEA
Theory of a Deadman has scored its biggest hit yet with “Bad Girlfriend,” the latest single from the Canadian act’s third studio set, Scars and Souvenirs. Theory frontman Tyler Connolly told us that while a lot of fans like the idea of having a girlfriend who’s “bad” as in “naughty,” he liked it so much that he married the woman he wrote the song about: “I met her at a bar, at this place called the Roxy. Me and, I was actually with Chad (Kroeger, Nickelback frontman), we would go there all the time, and there was one night I went there and there was this girl there that was really hot and she was crazy and she was up on the bar and stuff. Every time we would go back she was always there, and then we started hanging out and things progressed and so, yeah, she started coming out on tour with me and stuff, and then I just ended up marrying her.”
Connolly is married to actress Christine Danielle, who was seen in the movie Underworld Evolution alongside Kate Beckinsale.
Theory of a Deadman begins a new headlining tour in support of Scars and Souvenirs on Tuesday (November 25th) in Poughkeepsie, New York and will hit the road with Motley Crue and Hinder in February.
