Theory of a Deadman has canceled a batch of upcoming concerts because of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

The affected shows include all of Theory’s September headlining and festival dates, as well as three gigs opening for 3 Doors Down this weekend.

“We have decided that with the current surge in COVID cases, made worse by delta variant breakthrough cases, this is the right thing to do to ensure the safety of our fans and crew members,” the Canadian rockers write. “This wasn’t an easy choice for us, but we feel it is the right one.”

Theory plans to return to the road in October alongside 10 Years.
