The Strokes have recorded a new song in support of New York City mayoral candidate Maya Wiley.

Clips of the track, titled “Starting Again,” can be heard in a new Wiley campaign ad premiering ahead of the NYC’s primary election, taking place Tuesday, June 22. You can watch the ad streaming now on YouTube.

Along with the new song, The Strokes have shared a video from a previous virtual Wiley campaign event, featuring an unplugged performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” That’s streaming now on YouTube as well.

That virtual performance marked The Strokes’ first ever acoustic concert. They followed that with an in-person show in support of Wiley, which took place at NYC’s Irving Plaza earlier this month.
