Switchfoot has announced a new album called Interrobang. The 12th studio effort from the “Meant to Live” rockers will arrive August 20.

“More than ever, we want our music to be a bridge, reaching out with melody and lyrics to sing an honest song for anyone who’s got ears to hear,” says frontman Jon Foreman.

Interrobang is an album that celebrates the journey, even when the arrival is unsure,” he explains. “Interrobang is the sound of joy and pain, faith and doubt against the backdrop of the strangest, most difficult year we’ve ever experienced.”

Along with the album announcement, Switchfoot has dropped a new song called “Fluorescent,” which you can download now via digital outlets. It’s the second Interrobang cut to be released, following single “I Need You (To Be Wrong).”

Interrobang is the follow-up to 2019’s Native Tongue. Switchfoot also released a covers EP in 2020.

Here’s the Interrobang track list:

“Beloved”
“Lost ‘Cause”
“Fluorescent”
“If I Were You”
“The Bones of Us”
“Splinter”
“I Need You (To Be Wrong)”
“The Hard Way”
“Wolves”
“Backwards in Time”
