Shinedown has shared the official music video for the new piano version of its anthemic single “Get Up,” which has become a crossover hit at the Hot AC radio format after spending a number of weeks at the top of the rock charts.

The new stripped-down version, propelled by frontman Brent Smith‘s voice, shines a light on the song’s urgent and universal message of hope, empathy and encouragement in the face of struggle.

The song has racked up more than 38 million streams, landed the band on Live With Kelly And Ryan, and was heard during the Walter Payton Award on the Super Bowl pregame show, among other television spots. “Get Up” has also given the band the most Top 10 songs on the rock airplay charts, as well as their 13th Number One on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart, tied with Van Halen and behind only Three Days Grace.

Shinedown will launch a summer headlining tour on June 21st in the Woodlands, Texas, with support from BadflowerDinosaur Pile-Up and Broken Hands. A new round of fall North American tour dates begins on September 17th in Roanoke, Virginia. Papa Roach, Asking Alexandria and Savage After Midnight will support on those.
