Brent Smith from SHINEDOWN stopped by to chat with The Point’s, Liv Maddix backstage before their Point BIG Summer Show in St. Louis on September 3rd, 2023. Brent shares how nervous he still gets before a show and how excited he is to bring SPIRITBOX out on tour with Shinedown and Papa Roach. Brent lists off some of the bands that helped Shinedown out early in their career like 3 Doors Down, Van Halen, and Iron Maiden, talks about the cross-over success the band has had with “A Symptom Of Being Human,” and shares what is coming up in the future for Shinedown.
