Royal & the Serpent has premiered a new song called “Phuckboi Rejects.”

The pop-punky tune details the “Overwhelmed” artist’s history with said “Rejects,” resulting in what sounds like an R-rated version of a song from the Josie & the Pussycats soundtrack. You can download it now via digital outlets, and watch its accompanying video streaming now on YouTube.

“Rejects” will appear on Royal’s upcoming EP If I Died Would Anyone Care, which drops January 28. The six-track collection also includes the previously released single “Im Not Sorry.”

If I Died follows Royal’s 2021 EP Searching for Nirvana, which includes her breakout single, “Overwhelmed.” Last year, Royal also released collaborations including “Sound the Alarm,” with The Knocks and Weezer‘s Rivers Cuomo, and a remix of GAYLE‘s “abcdefu.”

Next month, Royal will hit the road opening for grandson‘s U.S. tour, which launches February 27 in Los Angeles.
