Placebo will be opening for select dates on the upcoming U.K. leg of My Chemical Romance‘s reunion tour.
The “Pure Morning” rockers are on the bill for three shows at MK Stadium in England’s Milton Keynes, taking place May 19, 21 and 22.
My Chem’s much-anticipated tour, which was originally set to kick off in 2020 before being delayed two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, officially begins in the U.K. May 16 in St. Austell, England. The international outing will travel throughout the rest of Europe in June, and will come to the U.S. in August.
Among the openers set for the U.S. leg including Badflower, Meg Myers, Taking Back Sunday and Turnstile.
Placebo, meanwhile, just dropped a new album called Never Let Me Go this past Friday, marking their first record in nine years. They’ll launch their own North American tour in September, followed by a headlining trek through Europe and the U.K. in October, November and December.
