PARAMORE LEADS LIST OF BANDS FOR ‘BAMBOOZLE LEFT’
Paramore leads the list of bands appearing at Bamboozle Left, the West Coast sister festival of the massive New Jersey punk-pop-rock extravaganza that happens in May. According to Alternative Press, this year’s Bamboozle Left will take place on Saturday, April 5th, and Sunday, April 6th, at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California, after taking 2007 off. Anti-Flag, Chiodos, New Found Glory, Reel Big Fish, the Color Fred and dozens of others are also performing.
Paramore begins a European tour later this month and will be on the road for most of early 2008 before Bamboozle. Singer Hayley Williams told us that the Franklin, Tennessee-based band has gotten used to living on a bus: “Being away from home for a long period of time can be tough, but I mean, we’re grateful for this opportunity. There’s tons of kids back home in Franklin that would love to get out, you know, and just like travel the world, and even just travel the country. There’s so much to see.”
Paramore will also play the East Coast Bamboozle, scheduled for May 3rd and 4th at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Also slated to perform are the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and others.
Paramore’s second album, Riot!, has sold 612,000 copies since its release early last year. The CD includes the singles “Misery Business” and “CrushCrushCrush.”
