Noel Gallagher has announced a new album with his solo project, High Flying Birds.

The upcoming record, which follows 2017’s Who Built the Moon?, is called Council Skies and will arrive June 2.

“It’s going back to the beginning,” Gallagher says of Council Skies. “Daydreaming, looking up at the sky and wondering about what life could be … that’s as true to me now as it was in the early ’90s.”

Council Skies includes the previously released song “Pretty Boy,” which features ex-The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. A second track, titled “Easy Now,” is available now via digital outlets and is accompanied by a video starring House of the Dragon‘s Milly Alcock, which is streaming now on YouTube.

The deluxe version of Council Skies will also include remixes by The Cure‘s Robert Smith and Pet Shop Boys, along with various other bonus tracks.

In other Noel Gallagher news, People reports that the former Oasis guitarist and his wife of 12 years, Sara MacDonald, are getting divorced.

“Noel and Sara will together continue to look after their children who remain their priority,” a spokesperson tells People. “Noel and Sara ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”
