Queens of the Stone Age have released a new song called “The Evil Has Landed,” from their upcoming album, Villains. Frontman Josh Homme said, “The title Villains, isn’t a political statement. It has nothing to do with Trump or any of that s@#$t. It’s simply a word that looks fantastic and is a comment on the three versions of every scenario: Yours, mine and what actually happened.”

  • This is the second song released from the album due out August 25.
  • Don’t miss Queens of the Stone Age live at Peabody Opera House, October 12th. Tickets on sale now – get yours here.

  • Josh Homme’s career started in 1987, playing guitar for Kyuss. They released four full length albums before splitting in 1995.
  • Queens of the Stone Age formed in 1996, and at one point were entirely composed of ex-Kyuss members.
Before Queens of The Stone Age the band was called Gamma Ray.
