Halestorm is coming “Back from the Dead.”

Last week, Lzzy Hale and company posted a mysterious image featuring a gravestone engraved with the band’s logo. Now, they’ve announced that a new single called “Back from the Dead” will arrive next Wednesday, August 18.

“It’d be so much easier to just sink into the hole that I have dug for myself, the grave that this world, broken trust, guilt, toxic relationships, pressure, anxiety and depression have helped me create,” Hale says of the upcoming track. “But that’s not who I am.”

“Is it harder to pick myself up and out of the blackness that sometimes plagues my mind? Yes,” she continues. “But no one ever said being your best self is easy. Self love is a full time job. And as always, music comes to the rescue.”

“Back from the Dead” will follow Halestorm’s 2018 album, Vicious, which spawned the singles “Uncomfortable,” “Black Vultures” and “Do Not Disturb.”

Halestorm will launch a co-headlining U.S. tour with Evanescence in November. They’re also playing a number of headlining shows on their own throughout the fall.
