If you’re tired of doomscrolling through your Twitter feed, Metric knows how you’re feeling.

The Canadian rockers have premiered a new song called “Doomscroller.” The track, which is nearly 10 1/2 minutes long, will appear on Metric’s upcoming album, Formentera.

“It’s a high speed chase through the wild terrain of modern life,” Metric says of “Doomscroller.” “It’s a trip. It’s a ten minute sonic ride into a future that has suddenly arrived.”

You can listen to “Doomscroller” now via digital outlets and watch its accompanying video, which is streaming now on YouTube.

Formentera, the follow-up to 2018’s Art of Doubt, will arrive July 8. It also includes the previously released single “All Comes Crashing.”

Metric will launch a U.S. tour in support of Formentera in September.
