Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 has released a new song, “Not Every Dog Goes to Heaven (National Lampoon’s Vacation),” on a new compilation, Dog Songs. The track follows the exploits of Dinky, the cruel dog from National Lampoon’s Vacation. It also features the line “‘80s Chevy Chase was rad.”

Proceeds from the comp will be donated to ASPCA to help dogs affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The release follows Hoppus’ recent appeal that fans send clothing to Texans in need following Hurricane Harvey. Via his clothing line Hi My Name Is Mark, Hoppus is asking fans to donate clothing items that are “new/newish” and “clean”– any little bit helps.

“This is a great way to get involved and help those in need right now,” a post states on the Hi My Name Is Mark Instagram page. Hoppus is also giving fans an added incentive to promote the cause. If you share the post and include the hashtags #ICleanedOutMyClosetforHouston and #HMNIMHouston, you will automatically be entered to win various gifts and prizes from the clothing brand.
