Machine Gun Kelly is apparently working on new music with Avril Lavigne.

The “Sk8ter Boi” artist posted an Instagram photo earlier this week of her in the studio alongside the “Bloody Valentine” singer and alternative musician Mod Sun.

“So are we ready for new music in the new year or what?” Lavigne wrote in the caption. “Lemme know….”

In the comments, Kelly responded with a raised-hand emoji, indicating that he is, indeed, ready for new music in the new year. Can we make it any more obvious?

MGK had a big 2020 thanks to the release of his album Tickets to My Downfall, executive-produced by Blink-182’s Travis Barker. He’ll close out the year by performing Thursday night on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021, premiering at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
