Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale has shared an update on the status of the band’s upcoming new album.
“We actually, just this week, ended up doing this socially distant version of getting into the studio with our producer and so we’ve actually begun recording,” Hale tells The MetalSucks Podcast. “So that’s exciting.”
“It was a much needed change of routine,” she adds. “So we’re just being creative, we’re putting in like 14-hour days.”
Hale doesn’t share any details about what the album sounds like or when it will arrive, but she does say she’s “super excited” about the direction it’s taking.
“I love this new material,” Hale says. “To get to the other side, whenever that may be, until that happens we’re just going to keep trying to do what we got and yeah, come out swingin’!”
Halestorm’s most recent album is 2018’s Vicious.
Meanwhile, you can currently hear Hale duet with Dee Snider on the Twisted Sister singer’s holiday song “The Magic of Christmas Day.”
