With apologies to all of his many other projects, this may be Mike Patton‘s most “Epic” gig of all.

The Faith No More frontman has recorded a cover of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. His version is featured in the trailer for an upcoming video game called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

To hear exactly what that sounds like, you can watch the trailer streaming now on YouTube. Spoiler alert: it is indeed groovy and outta sight.

Meanwhile, Patton has been his usual busy self — Mr. Bungle released a new album last fall, and Tomahawk will drop a new record on March 26.
