Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has released an acoustic version of “Samantha’s Gone,” a track from his debut solo album, CMFT.

The unplugged recording gives the original rocker a folksier feel and adds more of a yearning vibe to the lyrics. You can download it now via digital outlets.

Earlier this year, Taylor premiered the video for the electric version of “Samantha’s Gone,” which starred the members of Steel Panther and Tom Sandoval of the Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules.

CMFT was released last October. It also includes the lead single “Black Eyes Blue.”
