Linkin Park‘s “One More Light” is officially a Platinum record.

According to the RIAA, the song hit the 1 million certified units mark today, May 19, exactly five years after the album One More Light was first released in 2017.

Additionally, the lead One More Light single “Heavy” has now been certified double-Platinum.

With its pop and electronic-driven sound, One More Light was initially divisive among Linkin Park fans. Still, it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

One More Light would soon take on a new meaning after frontman Chester Bennington died by suicide in July 2017, just two months after the album’s release. The record’s title track in particular became a rallying cry for grieving fans.
